View Full Version : I've always been one of Lana's biggest supporters but she annoyed me in this episode!

"The cameras go or I go???"

What the Hellz???

I was happy Lex told her that the only camera he was removing was in her room, that's it.. What the hell did she expect him to do? Make the 'security' in his mansion even more of a joke by getting rid of every single camera there????

I never thought for a second that Clark was saving Lex for Lana. But I guess everything has to be about her.

Naw, I'm in agreement with the "cameras go or I go" line if it was just about her room. That's the impression I got anyway. Not the get rid of all your secruity. Besides, no one likes to video taped unknowningly.

I agree with that. But she was acting really weird when Clark came to the mansion.

Every minute lana is on screen and clark is not on is a lost minute for me.
I don't mind lex scenes but lana is ms.irrelevant now.

I have to agree with Lana on the camera thing to be honest. I'd be pretty mad if someone was invading my privacy like that.

Haha, I doubt it. I don't think she's that bright.

I agree with the camera in her room being removed, I think that's a fair request, but she said cameras, and didn't specify just her room, and Lex specifically telling her that he was only going to remove the camera in her room, not the rest of the mansion left me (and apparently him) wondering if she meant every security camera at the mansion. Because whereever she ventures to throughout the mansion (outside her room), she's going to be caught on film.

if Lana is dating Lex, why would she mind if hes watching her undress?

Lana was only questioning the one in her bedroom. Initially, she brought up all of the cameras, then she mentioned her bedroom cameras specifically. I have no problem with Lana making that request, and she never pressed Lex on the other cameras in the mansion.

That's where my bit of confusion comes in cause if Lex thought she was only talking about her room then I don't think Lex would have had to set her straight the way he did.

She brought up invasion of privacy and, basically, she'll never have any privacy anywhere in the mansion since the whole place is wired.

What annoyed me was that in the confrontation with Clark she seemed to be more concerned with *****ing at Clark than she was with Lex's safety. I just got the impression that she wanted to lay into Clark and was just using that as an excuse to start griping at him.

I think she suspects something. She has met other Kryptonians, unless she is galaxally stupid, she should connect the dots.

I seem to be cringing more often when she is on the screen.

True. Lana's movements will be monitored outside of her room, but my thing is, she only brought up, the footage showing her bedroom. If she had showed footage of herself in the kitchen or the barn, then maybe she would have been going to far. But she doesn't do that, she mentions the fact that she was undressing in her room and I agree with the whole, those cameras gotta go line.

I'm not sure if using the word cameras' instead of camera was wrong. It's possible there was more than one camera in her bedroom.

First of all, it doesn't matter whether or not Lana and Lex are dating-- Lex was watching Lana in a private setting doing something most of us do in private (changing) without her knowledge or consent. Consent is the biggest issue here, in my opinion. Second, keep in mind we don't know how far Lana and Lex have gone together. We shouldn't assume Lex has seen Lana topless or nude yet as we have no evidence of this. Even if he HAS, that doesn't necessarily mean Lana would consent (there's that word again) to him watching her change clothes.

the only camera that should go, is the one in her room all the other ones can stay.

I could see her being mad about that camera, but she really should have realized there might be one. Wealthy people have security cameras in their houses. In bedrooms might be extreme, but considering the number on times Lex has been abducted, he should have security cameras in the bathrooms too. And every room should be a safe room. A metal detector going into it. Have its own arsenal. Staff of body guards. 4 or 5 Navy Seals.

Seriously, what kind of messed up chick keeps living with a man that secretly is taping her getting undressed? If there are cameras, so be it, but what kind of man doesn't provide that information? And Lana is OK with this? Seriously? She needs therapy. Desperately. IMO

Lana is just showing more of her true self here; she admitted she knew Clark was right about Lex last ep, though her, let me save the world by stabbing Lex thing was ridiculous. Still, she admitted it and now she's gribing at CLark again and demanding to know his secrets. SHe's just a nasty one and this is more proof.

Actually that scene with Clark didn't bother me all that much. The way I saw it, when she said "Don't pretend you're doing this for Lex" was more about Clark rescuing Lex only to protect his secret rather than actual concern for him. I don't think she meant he was doing it for her or anything. At least, that's how I read the scene.

it may be but that would mean that she knows his secret now and isn't tellin.Cause she did pass out right when clark got there last week,I think whenever she does find out that she wont be as suprise. My only question is how will she act, still hateful or more understandin.Plus wit hearin clark say he had to kill lex/her findin out about the dagger & krypton she may be startin to jus put 2 and 2 together.Cause she knows Zod was stopped sumhow, and I'm guessin she knows clark was involved

Lex will replace the camera in her room with one that is more hidden & move the video feed to his own room, haha!! Or maybe, if he's really smart, keep the same camera and move the video feed to Lana's room so she can see herself and get turned on as she did in Thirst. That way, she'll be wanting some action from Lex. She is such a friggin narcissist.

Don't forget that he should use tanks instead of cars and the helicopters :D

What I want to know is how did Lana not see Clark use his super speed while she was watching the cameras?. He took off pretty quick after she kicked him out; you'd think the cameras would have picked it up.

Speaking of cameras, if you were Lex, wouldn't you view all of the footage from the 24 hours you missed. Agh.
