Im not used to Lionel coming up to anyone's chin, it makes him a lot less intimidating.

He's tall but he was standing on a higher platform than Lionel was. Its to create an illusion of strength and power.

I thought so too, but then he walked forward with no step down. Could have been shoddy editing... the editors aren't the greatest on this show, I think we can agree, but I dunno.

John Glover is, at least acording to his bio, 6'1/183 cm so yes, Justin Hartley, at 6'3/191 cm is quite a lot taller than John Glover, at least if their bios are to be trusted!
