They couldn't think of a cooler title for the day Metropolis/the world shut down? I actually didn't really expect them to have a title for the day at all.
What are some other names it could have been called?

Hehe I didn't even notice it had a title lol
They could have used Zoday had they known that Zod was responsible for everything.

IDK, I thought "Dark Thursday" worked well as the title. It reminds me of Bloody Sunday.

I think its stupid that all that damage can happen to the city, when the power only went out for 12 or so hours... couldn't the people of Metropolis just go to bed or something?

I thought it worked well. And I appretiated that not everything from the 'Zod' was already rectified by the time this episode aired. It's good to see that things aren't fixed up instantly.

Yes I liked the fact that they named it, and the name itself. I thought the scenes they showed on the television was a nice touch also.

I find it weird that they said that the events at the Pentagon and the power going out were on the same day, when the riots where at night and the pentagon was the next afternoon.

I liked the whole "Thursday" part, and I think we all know why. ;) It wasn't so bad. I mean, what else is there to call it. :\

I liked it. I thought it sounded ok. I liked that you saw how the rest of the world was dealing with the events of Zod. It sounded like something the government or the media would call it. They only said it a fews times so it wsn't beat over our head. I like that we have something to call the event.
I liked to hear about how the repairs were going and how Clark was trying so hrd to help that he wore himself out and the progress tht he had was noticed on the news at the beginning. Alot of the destruction was from the satelite trying to reform Krypton, not from the rioting.
So when Zod broke into The Pentagon was he only seen on the Queen Industries Satelite and was Ollie the only one to see it? Does the Government know it was Lex that broke in. If they saw bullets fly off him in the video then did the people who shot Lex know it was him? Did they see his face?
I'm glad that they named it, it gives something for us all to call it and to me it does naturally seem like people would name an event like that something like that.
I liked the continuity and I'm ok if they use it here and there but I just hope it isn't over used.

:) Yes! I am so glad some else noticed! SV has a way of never following up with certain major events that happen in that corn bred town.
They can call it any day they want,I'm just glad they didn't act like it wasn't a major event. Dark Thursday should be mentioned up the whole season.

i like that they named the event, but i think the name that they gave it sounds funny.
i was thinking and someone mentioned "black thursday". i thought that sounded better, but we don't write the episodes, right? oh well.
