I don't own Smallville, or this song by Blink 182 (Going Away to College), although it would be spiffy if I did.
This is about Lana and Clark going away to two different colleges, and how Clark will miss her.
Please take me by the hand,
It's so cold out tonight
"It's cold up here", Lana commented as she sat on the couch in the loft.
"Really? I feel pretty warm", Clark said. "Are you serious? It's cold!", Lana said.
"I still can't believe you're going to Met U instead of Central", Clark whined.
I'll put blankets on the stand,
I won't turn out the light
"Clark, we'll still see eachother, it's not like we're never going to see eachother again", Lana said. "Besides, I'll see you next week".
"But it won't be the same without you", Clark said. "Lana, I love you and we just got back together and you're leaving me, ...again", Clark said.
"I'm not leaving you, Clark. I love you", Lana went up to him and kissed him.

"I'll write you once a week" she said
"Besides, there's still email, right? And if not, there's always the phone", Lana assured.

Lana looked around. Right now, Clark didn't know if telling Lana his secret was a great idea.

"But Lana, this is cause of me. You can't just not go because I won't be there. Lana, I'm not letting you do this", Clark said.
"I thought this was what you wanted", Lana said. "What I want", Clark paused before going on, "Is for you to be happy and independent".
"I love you, Clark", Lana said. Clark smiled. "I love you too".
