Alternate ending

Hey everyone over the past couple of months, I've observed some great writers in this forum. So now here's my story.

Pairings:Clana
Rating: Between PG and PG:13
I don't own any of the chracters or anything

This takes place during the episode Void, everything has happened in the series up until now. Right now Clark is just finishing talking to Lana in her dorm.

Clark: Lana, I just want you to be happy.
Clark turns and starts to walk away.

Lana:Clark, wait the only way I will ever be happy is if I'm with you, no one else.

Clark stops but does not turn around.

Lana: Clark, did you hear me. I love you.

Clark finally turns around.

Clark: I love you so much, more than you'll ever know.

Lana: then why can't we be together, you and me, we both know we're meant to be together.

Clark: I can't though, it's way too dangerous for you, that's why I broke up with you.

Lana just stand there remembering that moment.

*****Flashback******
clark turns to her

Clark: I don't love you

*****End of Flashback******

Lana runs up to him.

Lana: CLark.....

Lana kisses him with so much passion and feeling hoping he'll change his mind.

Lana: Clark, what if I told you I don't care, I just want to be with you, why can't you just accept that.

Clark: but what could be worse than losing the person you love.....

Lana: nothing......

Lana: can't we just talk, you and me, I don't care what it's about can't we just talk.

Clark: sure, but Lana

As Lana turns to him, he kisses her with as much passion and feeling as she had kissed him with.

Lana: What was that for?

Clark: Because I love you.

This time they share a kiss which lasts what feels like a half an hour in the dorm hallway.

Clark knows he has to be with her, he loves her so much. Clark decides it's finally time to tell her.

Clark all of the sudden picks her up and superspeeds her to the loft and puts Lana down on the couch.

All Lana can say is wow, with a big grin on her face.

Clark sits her down.

Lana: is this what you've been hiding from me, do you have special abilites from the metoer rocks?

Clark: well, first question yes, but second question no i was not affected by the first metoer shower. It.......was used to disguise my arrival and it's my fault your parents are dead, Lana I'm so sorry, please forgive me.

Lana: Clark it's not your fault, you didn't choose to kill them, I don't think you need to apologize, but if it makes you feel any better I accept. but so you're not from around here?

Clark: Actually I'm from a planet called Krypton, is everything starting to fall into place?

Lana: kinda, but please keep going.

Clark: okay well I'll start with my abilities. Well you've just witnessed I'm one of the fastest guys you know. Now I also have superstrength-

lana: prove it

Clark smiles at her

Clark: Okay I'll take that challenge Ms. Lang, come to the Loft window.

No sooner had Lana gotten to the window than to see Clark standing there holding the tractor above his head as if it weighed nothing.

Lana: okay, show-off come backin here.

Lana turns around and there's Clark

Clark: You rang

Lana: I'M definetly going to have to get use to that.

Lana pushes Clark onto the couch and gives him a kiss

Clark: okay now there's the superhearing which I developed 2 years ago when I lost my vision.

Lana: Oh yeah I remember.

Clark: Well the last two are x-ray and heat vision.

Lana started to look suspicious when he had said x-ray and started to pull her sweater tighter around her.

Clark: don't worry I've only used my x-ray vision twice on you, once when I was first developing it and accidently saw you in the girl's bathroom. Also when I was on red-k which I will explain a little bit later.

Lana looked a little bit more comfortable

Lana: okay so now how about heat vision.

Clark: well It kinda got triggered when I though about.......sex. And boy did you give me the hardest time dealing with it.

They both laughed at his last remark.

Lana: Clark Kent, stop being so inappropriate.

Lana suddenly remembers something

Lana: so you started the fire the night after Lex's first wedding.

Clark: yeah sorry about that. But anyway I'm also almost invincible.

Lana: what do you mean almost

Clark:well, the green metoer rock which I call green kryptonite makes me sick, and can kill me if I'm around it for too long.

Lana:You mean my necklace was hurting you that whole freshman year, I'm so sorry.

Clark: Hey, It's okay

He says as he leans in for a kiss

Clark: okay so where were we, oh right well red kryptonite makes me not realize the consequenses for my actions.

Lana: so you were on it the first time we kissed

Clark: Yeah but Lana that was not this first time we kissed.

Lana: Yeah it was you must not remember.

Clark: remember that day I took you up to the top of that windmill and you asked me if you did anything to me and i said no, well I kinda lied, you see, you basically stipped all the way down to your undergarments in front of me in the pool area and then kissed me while you were on the Nicodemus plant.

Lana completely blushed.

Lana: I can't believe I did that, I'm so sorry

Clark: believe me it was really okay.

Clark: Now I only have one more thing to tell you about

Lana: okay shoot

Clark: I'm sorry for all my lies, there was so many times I wanted to tell you, don't ever think it was because I didn't trust you, it was because I didn't want my enemies coming after you. Overall this leads me to one thing....I love you with all my heart and soul.

by this time Lana has tears in her eyes

Lana: I love you too Clark Kent.

Clark, Lana, and Chloe are all in the loft.

Lana: so you're telling me that you and Lionel switched bodies when you tried to kiss me when Jason and I were going out.

Clark: oh, well I don't exactly remember anything while we switched bodies

Chloe: so youre telling me Lionel was going to kiss me,....ewwwwww

Clark: eww you're right that was disgusting. hang on I hear a car pulling up why don't you guys hide in case it's Lex, I don't want him knowing that me and Lana are back together because he might know that you know my secret.

Chloe+Lana: okay

they hide

Lex: hey Clark, I wanted to talk to you

Clark looking a little confused

Lex:I know you thought I wouldn't know that you and lana got back together, well you're going to break up with her

Clark: know I'm not

Lex:Yes you are

He says this as he takes out a piece of green kryptonite

Clark: what are you doing lex

his knees are completely buckled

Lex: will you break up with Lana

all of the sudden Lana comes and hits him with a tremendous round house kick to the head.

Lana and Chloe: are you okay

Clark: yeah I'm fine

Lana: what are you going to do with him

Clark: I don't know, why don't we take him back to the mansion

Lana: what if he comes back though

Clark: well then we'll deal with him later but I just want him gone.

Lana and Chloe: fine if your sure.

Lana woke up to the sound of coffeewhich Chloe had made

Lana saw Clark laying on the ground in thier dorm and remembers her, Chloe, and Clark had watched a couple of movies last night.

Chloe: Hey

Lana: Hey, I think I'm going to wake him up

Chloe: sounds good, I'm just going to call Lois outside for a minute

Lana: okay

she walks over to him and starts to push him, but he won't open his eyes, so she gives him light kiss, slowly it starts to turn more and more passionatly, until Chloe walks in

Chloe: I leave for like 5 minutes and you two love birds are making out, gees

Lana+Clark: sorry

Lana: I have a class in a half hour and then another in two hours.

Clark: how bout at 1:00 we get a bite to eat at the restraunt by the Daily Planet.

Chloe: You mean the Mexican one , yeah we'll be their

Clark: okay bye,see you there

Lana: bye honey, love you

Clark: love you too.

Chloe: were just one loving couple of people aren't we.

Clark: you bet

*******Restraunt**********

Clark's already their with three chairs when Lana and Chloe come

Lana: why are their three chairs

Clark: it's a surprise
as he gives Lana a kiss

Chloe:oh I love surprises

Clark: trust me your going to love this one

Clark: here he comes now

Chloe shocked says: Hi

she gets up and gives him a kiss

Clark: now do I have to tell you guys to get a room

Person: wow what was that for

Chloe: because I missed you Pete

Pete: what a warm welcome.

*****Next day**********

Lana: I'm so happy it's Friday and i don't have classes tomorrow

ClarK: me too, Hey do you want to go out tomorrow

Lana: sure

Clark: just remember to bring a scarf and gloves

Clark was going to meet Lana, Chloe, and Pete for Coffee at the Talon. He decided he would drive. When he was closing his driver's side door, all of the sudden he feels a sudden pain go through his shoulder. The last thing he saw was Kex with a glowing green knife.

Lex: You don't look to hot.
as he says it he jabs Clark with the knife again into his shoulder and leaves it there.
********Talon**********

Lana: I'm started to get worried

Chloe: So am I, if he's not here in 5 minutes we'll go see where he is.
Lana noticed that Chloe was holding Pete's hand.

::::::20 minutes later at Kent Farm:::::::::::::

Clark is barely remaining concious

Clark: Come on Clark just hold on a little bit longer you can do it, I bet Lana's looking for you right know and will save you.

****Lana's car*****

Lana: Now I'm really worried he was an hour late.

Chloe: i'm sure he's fine just had to finish up a couple of more chores.

********Kent House*********

Lana: Well his truck's here, Chloe you go look in the house, I'll look in the Loft, and Pete go look in the field, meet back in five.

5 minutes later

Chloe: nothing

Pete: nothing

Lana: nothing, but I did see car tracks that looked like Lex's so he must have something to do on where Clark's gone.

********Clark's truck*******

Clark: Come on Kent you can hear them just one last ounce of energy to tell them your over here.

KentFarm

muffled yell

Chloe: did you hear that it sounded like it came from the truck

Lana: yeah

Lana sprints over to the truck and finds Clark lying there with a knife in his arm.

Lana: oh my gosh

Lana: Pete can u try and take the knife out it looks really deep.

Pete gives it a tug and it comes out, but it seems Clark's still unconcious.

Lana: you wait for him to wake up, I'm going to take care of some buisness.

******Luther Mansion*******

Lana: how dare you come over to Clark's place and kill him

Lex: I don't care as long as I killed himand he's done with

Lana: so you admit that you killed him

Lex:absolutely to bad all my voice and digital records and cameras are off, and oh yeah I forgot to tell you something I'm going to kill you.......

ok... erm... while this is very interesting and all.. you seem to be bouncing from one plot to the other more times than a superball bouncing off walls...

while it can leave blanks in the reading... it doesnt prevent you from writing a good story...

With that Clark speed overto Lex and punched him with all his anger in the face, and Lex falls unconcious

Lana: I'm so happy your okay, I thought I might lose you

Clark: Well I'm okay, it took me a bit longer because when I didn't heal right away,Pete and Chloe realized something was wromg so they found a chip of the knife and were able to get it out of me. I was able to wake up soon after that, and they filled me in on where you were. So i speed over her as fast as I could. how are you

Lana: I'm fine now that you're here

Clark: Now we have so much info that he tried to kill you he'll be put away for sure.

Lana: one problem, he turned off all his cameras when he heard i had come

Clark:you're kidding what are we going to do now

Lana: well Lucky for you I thought to bring a recorder with him saying he killed you and was going to kill me.

Clark: You're kiddin, I love you so much

With that he gave her a passionate kiss

Lana: What was that for

Clark: for being you.

****Week later*********
Clark: it's a good thing baldie's behind bars know

Lana: for sure

Clark: um.......Lana will you go out with me tonight

Lana: sure Clark

Clark: I was thinking we could go somewhere you would never think of

Lana: sounds good

With that she gave him a lingering kiss

Lana: Well know I have to go to my next class, what do you want me to wear

Clark: well it's very casual, just make sure you bring gloves and scarf.

Clark: what i wanted to tell you was I've showed you this before, it was the same day as the election, I told you everything about me and asked you something else but that will come later, so anyways i showed you here and then we went back, later that day was the elction, and just like you remember you went to visit Lex, only he figured out you knew about me, and you ran and he chased you. Unlike you remeber the bus hit you and you were lying there and asked Jor-el to give me another chance and he did, and then I started all over again and decided not to tell you for which I'm very sorry for.

Lana: it's okay, i'm getting a little cold though

Clark: okay let's go.

****Back in the caves********

Lana: Well we're back, now let's get some dinner
she says as she grabs Clark's hand:

Clark: Hang on I think something fell out of my pocket

As Lana starts to walk again

clark:Lana, I have one last question

When LAna turns around she sees Clark on one knee

Clark: WIll you marry me Lana?

Lana: ABsolutly

Clark:I've been looking through every book from Socrates to Shakespeare, trying to find someone who could put into words the way Lana and myself feel about each other. But what I realized is, there are no words for it. And when you have it you trust it, and you believe in it. Take a chance on it. And you're willing to sacrifice anything to keep it no matter what the cost. You see a couple of years ago I made this speech to say at a friend's wedding. Well I took a risk and now thanks to that chance and risk I took , I will be spending the rest of my life with the one I truly love now and forever. I love you Lana. Thank you.

All the women in the church were tearing up a bit.
Then a song came on.


Clark: May I have this dance

Lana with a smile said: I thought you would never ask.

AS they danced

Clark: Just remember what what you're dad and mom said to me in that graveyard six years ago. You'll never be alone.
