I apologize if this has been touched on, but does it seem to anyone else like they were kind of teasing Chlark?

When Clark questioned her, in a way it seemed like he was hoping for something there, but Jimmy being there threw it all out of wack?

Or is it still same old Clark who sees Chloe only as a friend, just wanting to clear that up and reset the "friend" boundary?

I appreciate any opinions because I've been wondering since I saw it.

That was my opinion. It was a good sign for future Chlark.

I DONT NO ABOUT THAT MAYBE SOMETHING WILL GROW BUT DID YOU SEE WHEN CLARK WENT TO VISIT LOIS WHAT WAS THAT MOMENT OF SILENCE REMEMBER THIS SEASON IS MORE ABOUT OLIVER QUEEN, CLARK KENT AND LOIS LANE LOVE TRIANGLE. ; )

I think that scene was just to show that Clark wanted to use her for his rebound girl. I mean Chloe even knew better than to trade a possibility with a far less dramatic Jimmy Olsen than with drama queen Clark.

I felt bad for him when he was trying to comfort Lois (probably tryin to smooth her out to get some action with her later ;) ) and she gave him that look like "The f**ks your problem??!" great scene there.

I was really mad that Chlark tease the fans of their growing relaionship if Jimmy wasn't there. :(
I hope they have Chlark come back again really soon.

Oh, I don't think Lois was mad or irritated, I think she was getting a flutter just like Clark was. But that's Clois kind of comment. Chlark all the way.

I thought he looked interested too. I felt bad for him. It looked like she thought he would be like always and blow her off but it seemed like he wanted Chlark to happen. With the Lois thing I think it was more like Clark was just showing he cared and then they noticed that there might be something there and were a little freaked. I thought it was cool because it was the first time you actually have seen that there might be a real attraction between them aside from all of our infering that we do when we see Clois forshadowing. But with Chloe I think it was big off him to just let CHloe go and be with Jimmy. He looked like he wanted to be with her but he wants her to be happy and I think he thinks that more important. So maybe he just stepping aside and thinking it may or may not happen later.

Oh God, I hope so...

Chlarker here and to be honest, I wasn't expecting anything from the kiss at the end of last season.. being a Chlark fan, I have learned that the writers love to toy with our emotions and have us think something will happen but it never does.. so when Chloe said that, I thought that Clark looked completely crestfallen like maybe, he was considering dating Chloe or trying to see where their relationship could develop from there.. when Jimmy came up, it seemed like Clark was like,"Whoa, where did nerd boy come from and why is Chloe looking at him like she usually looks at me?" He honestly looked upset.. that is how I saw this.. take it as you will..

JTK, please don;t use caps like that; it constitutes yelling in case you didn't know...FYI.

Now, no, this season, despite the erronious spoilers is not about a romantic trianngle with Ollie and Lois and Clark. Because Clark has never shown any romantic interest in Lois. He has suggested smothering her and he got rid of her as soon as he could in seaosn four and they have admitted to each other that they don't like each other very much (remember?) so there is not only no background for it but boring and eeewww...incest. Lois and Clark are presented like sisblings.

That was Clark being complassionate until he realized, "God! Eeewww, Lois."

Now, I know TPTB love to tease and torture Chlark fans certainly and it will lose them mfans as a result. Has already, in fact. But the Vessel kiss was pretty definite and it was a definte promise of things to come, handles poorly, to be sure. Clark stared at her and Jimmy in what was obvious confusion and jealousy last night. JO is an obstacle to CHlark at this point. Yes, they should deal with it more reasonably later on but they did make it clear Clark returned that kiss and came back to Chloe thinking there was something between them only just realized.

We'll see where they go with it but this looks to me like Clark about to start pursuing Chloe and being rebuffed. Now, if they don't follow up on that then many fans will dump the show from what I'm hearing. Smallville should learn to play to its strengths if they want to succeed on the new network. Chloe and Clark ahve always been the strength of the show and they will follow that if they ahve any brains at all.

I don't think you could really tell if clark was nah or yah on the idea. SOOO he could have been about to let her kno he felt the same until the jimmy showed up. I think chloe and jimmy are goin to get together while clark gets jealous. Then they are goin to get together. But I don't think it'll last cuz of course LOIS is in the pic. I think it depends when the show ends to determine when to pull out the chlois card. Ya kno?? Sooo hopefully there will be a couple more seasons for that develop and chlark to sizzle out.

I guess some Chlarkers better begin packing their bags then if they plan on leaving if romantic Chlark isn't followed up on, because it's not gonna happen. I can't believe people are still falling for this trick. Al and Miles do this every season to throw the Chlarkers a bone and tease them just enough to get them coming back for more, and they just eat it up. Pure genius. It works every single time without fail. You got to admit, the guys know how to pimp the show from all angles. They don't miss a beat.:D

If they haven't hooked up after 5 entire seasons it probably won't happen folks.

I'll agree with you that TPTB love to torture and tease the Chlark fans (and I really do feel for you guys. It was poorly handled). Although I don't think we can say that the spoilers are "erroneous" quite yet. Oliver hasn't even entered the picture & we don't know what Clark is going to do when he does. And we don't really know how Clark is going to deal with Jimmy, yet.

And I don't see a brother/sister vibe from Clois, at all. And he might be saying things like the pillow thing, but he also says things llike, "sometimes I think you don't know me at all -- and sometimes I think you know me better than anyone." And then there are all the times he checks her out. My brother doesn't check me out that way. (eww, gross.)

And it definitely didn't look like compassion to me -- he held her hand & they both felt something. And when she gave him a look, he pulled away. If she had encouraged it (which is something she wouldn't do because she's Lois Lane) then I think he would have kept his hand there. I get no "incest" vibes from it.

It was a cute, sweet scene between between two characters who are going to end up married to each other in the future.

You mean Lois? When?

And I definitely think Clark looked interested. What a half-hearted "me neither"

i felt like the scene was a little forced, plus i just don't like the idea of lois liking clark at any time during this show. she's only supposed to like superman. i'm all for playing with the plot line, i'll even live with jimmy being their age, but i don't really like that lois is in the show.

HAHAHA:rotfl: That's not quite how I interpretted her look, but your take was much funnier. Poor Clark, REJECTED TWICE!

On a serious note, I felt that Clark was the jealous one this time, where in the past it has been Chloe. The scene seemed off to me, I think because Chloe felt out of character in just dismissing it like that but then again maybe she's had enough?

Clark did seem very awkward about the whole thing and then Jimmy showing up so abruptly made it even worse for him. No doubt he was left feeling a little stupid but I think it serves him right.

The plaid wearing wonder has often gotten ruffled whenever any of his ladies (including Mommy) don't offer all their time to him. With Chloe this time it felt a lot more like jealousyand dismay but even if it wasn't (and I think it WAS) Clark at the very least must feel like all the time that he had Chloe to himself, at his beck and call, that to suddenly be rebuffed like that must mean he is losing her adoration and that can't feel good.

*an anti-Chlark in the topic*

Here is my opinion:

I love Chloe, but now that Jimmy is in the pricture, I see a Chloe getting over that high school crush with Clark.

Mean while, and I must accept, that I saw a jealous Clark.

Also I don't want to miss the little sparks of Clois.

I think that might a Chlimy or Clark/Chloe/Jimmy..whatever...scenes and some competition there..

But let's, wait and see the green arrow enter the screen, let's see the "jealous big brother of Lois" Clark affect him.

If, there's going to be Chlark, I hope to be strong enough, because......must people that know Clark secret, die.

I think Chlark has died before it even really started. :(

And here I was looking forward to it for awhile.

I've been saying for years that Clark's an idiot for obsessing over Lana while Chloe is the obvious choice for him (even over Lois in my opinion).

Yeah it almost felt as if he never took the time to consider what it must've been like for Chloe to hang out with him while desiring him. I think it was the perfect wake up call for Clark. After all, the girl he should have been working so hard to be with was probably Chloe all along. NO IM NOT A CHLARKER!! ....I'm just a tiny bit impatient with the never-ending Clana tension.
