i didn't see anything pointing explicitly to him landing in smallville. he just landed and sped off, could've been anywhere

yeah, it was the same field where lex/zod and clark fought and the same feild when lex was abducted by the spaceship or whatever.

Actually that field is used alot i think.

I think it's fine that he landed in the field, which did look pretty similar to where Lex was abducted. I love the way Clark almost has the Superman pose down, where no matter what the crisis, he always stops and has that kick-ass look and you know that he's about to shift it into top gear. Only wish that they'd zoom out so we could see the whole pose!

agreed, it doesn't really matter where he lands. Don't you think having him land elswhere would of made no sense at all?He landed back in the heart of conflict, which is where I wanted him to be.
