This one made me laugh since people are constantly saying so and so should die in order to push Clark to his destiny. :p

Er...I'm going to reserve judgement on James. I have a feeling that he's either going to be a character that's lovable and funny, or he's going to be a character that's intensely irritating and annoying. We'll just have to wait and see.

But I agree with the 'Jimmy is a jerk' thread. He slept with Chloe then didn't bother to call her again? J-E-R-K.

Also, I don't see the Chloe/Jimmy relashionship going too far. It's just way too forced ... even for SV.

Diddo for hoping Clark and Jimmy will be friends. Ever since Pete left, Clark has been seriously lacking in, as my sister puts it, "man company." Especialy now with his dad dead and him and Lex fighting again.

I am just being stupid, but the destiny question was thrown in there for that reason: I am tired of people saying Chloe has to die or Jonathan has to die. Thought I'd rib them a little with the ridiculous assumption that Jimmy has to die, along with the stupidity of asking this question so utterly prematurely.

Yeah, that's something I've been thinking for awhile now. Clark needs a bud again. And with JO at the DP now, I'm wondering how he's gonna play into bringing Clark into journalism and ergo, his destiny.

Nope. Clark took his powers back from him. I'm not sure if Eric killed Ian or just severly hurt him (other characters have taken similar hits and lived---heck Ian fell off that bridge/dam and came back in Asylum). I'd say Ian's still alive, which means that Eric probably never killed anyone.

Well after that last scene I wouldn't worry the possibility is still there,tptb r keepin things level wit clark when dealin wit both chloe & lois.So we'll see but tonight was a good episode imo for both clois fans and chlark fans at sum point

1. Jimmy is important to the Superman mythos.
2. Clark needs a compadre to fill the Pete void.
3. Jimmy/Chloe/Clark is an intriguing possible entanglement. It could potentially become a Bizzaro alternate universe take on a Jimmy Olsen/[iconic]Lois Lane/Clark Kent triangle. :D

I think Jimmy's introduction in the show is funny. He and Chloe did the deed and he never called. That's hot! But i mean, he should not be killed. He's part of clark's destiny so its silly for him to be axe'd. I think it will be an interesting triangle. Plus it frees up a potential relationship to form between Lois and Clark:

noo i think jimmy is cute and besides hes in the comics anyways...he's just what chloe needs right now and if it werent for him clark would prolly never realize how much chloe really means to him and how she has always been there for hom...and if there were any chance for future chlark this is what it will take. chimmy gives clark a good opportunity to reflect on his feleings for chloe and actually fight to get her back, after all shes been the one going after him all this time...it also will help him come out of his own a little bit be more independant and grow to become superman

They got rid of Pete because Clark didn't need two best friends in the show, and it was tough to write in parts for Chloe and Pete since they were basicly the same character.

Let's hope "James" doesn't take away from Chloe screentime, or else his character does deserve to die.

I officially love JO. So funny when he said "This isn't because I didn't call you last time," and the way he is intimidated by Clark is even funnier.

Clark was more in shock to see Jimmy than he was jealous. He was stunned because he never realized that Chloe could do the same to him what he has done to her for years, I loved Chloe and Jimmy and their interactions in the entire scene.

Clark was like "Okay, where did he come from?" But in later episodes, I think Clark will only like JO more.

That's an interesting point, however, they are promoting a GA/Lois/Clark triangle. Now, it might not end up happening but we are seeing more promotional material pointing to that triangle. I have not seen any promotional material related to Jimmy/Chloe/Clark. We'll see what happens.
