Smallville 6 OWNS Superman Returns

The epsiode was Great and I have to say i was more excited for this show then the movie.... The movie was decent but not up too par in my eyes ...by far the cast and storyline of smallville is sooo much better!

Yeah, something about Kal-El & Zod fighting made it good. Superman Returns is good, but this season opener was great.

Yeah, the movie was good, but this was a culmination of a lot things from previous seasons. The performances in this episode were fabulous. I'll take Tom Welling & Erica Durance over Brandon Routh & Kate Bosworth any day of the week. But Kevin Spacey still rocked. But I want him to be "high-rise living, metropolis controlling" Lex next time. Smallville Lex is already there.

Have to agree that the movie wasn't much, considering it had about a trillion more dollars of budget and publicity hype. Smallville does more with less.

They both copied - er, I mean, paid homage to the Donner movies so I was let down by both. The only difference being, Smallville actually tried to attempt something new by showing the inside of the Phantom Zone, which wasn't visually fascinating or in any way impressive, but at least they tried. A for effort.
