That was the worst part of the episode because Lana was conscious even when we heard Clark superspeeding in and then they cut to her hitting the ground after being dropped by Zod and she is conveniently knocked out.

I would have been surprised if Lana hadn't been knocked out!

i kind of figured...everytime Lana is close to finding out Clark's secret she gets knocked out........you'd think that she'd have some brain damage by now.....hehehe

I was hoping she wouldn't be in the room because if she got knocked out again it wasn't gonna be funny anymore.

I don't know it's always funny when people get knocked out.

Did she actually get knocked out or did she pass out? I mean, it amounts to the same thing, but thinking back, I can't quite remember. Zod was strangeling her, after all.

Lana got roughed UP!

I bet she was glad to get knocked out...probably made her forget about the hole in her hand :)

They really cut it close this time. I was almost sure that this was going to be the moment she'd finally see... Her time is coming, though. Mark my words! :)

It does help to explain a lot of Lana's actions. Brain damage, hmmm???? I think you got something there. Take care.

Peace To All.

It reminded me of last season premiere. It was in the same exact room, and was interaction between Kryptonians.

Let's not forget neither she nor Lex addressed the issue of how everything is back to okay.

Sometimes I think the commonsense level of SVers is lower than that of traditional Superman characters.

Yeah, she sure has been knocked around a bit. I chuckled a little bit when she was unconscious. But, it's the thing to do on Smallville and we all expect it anyways.

I would like to see the work *BONK* flashed on the screen the next time Lana/Lex get knocked out so they wont see Clark use his powers.

If she was in some kind of altercation with of course I would expect her to loose conciousness. . . ITS ZOD FOR CRY'N OUT LOUD!!!!

Sorry I just dont get the shock I mean he was the guy in charge of all of kryptons defense and such I would expect him to be able to knock Lana Lois CHole Lois dad and pretty much any other human out seeing as he has Kyrptionaina powers (though how Im still fuzzy on) but also was the at one time the planet of Kryptons big warrior. . . . . I suprised he did not kick Clarks butt.

Lana got knocked out in Arrival and she got knocked out in Zod.
Of course it's surprising. LOL

Nope not surprised at all! I wasn't surprised that Lex didn't remember anything, Lana forgave him, Chlark was shut down, Lois was unconsious in the FOS, or that everything is fine and dandy now. Just another day in Smallville.

Actually.. I really was surpirsed. Or maybe I'm confusing that emotion with sadness.. or it was a combination of both. :\

It seems to me they're getting ready to wrap this thing up. Chloe is moving on. Chlois is showing more life. And after a huge crisis, we did not have one Clana scene (so they're over). You'd think it's also her time to be let in on the secret and that scene looked like a really good scene to do it.

I was sitting there and I was like I know Clark is coming and even if she doesnt see him superspeed there, you know TPTB arent gonna let Lana see Clark helping her cuz she has to be mad at him right now.. totally saw it coming and yet.. I was still annoyed when it actually happened

I was actually praying that they would have done somthing different than the usually SOP of the show. I don't understand how did she pass out anyway. He wasn't really choking her.

I'm also really getting tired of the camera cutting to her knocked out so it is so clear that she won't be able to see Clark use his powers. It is becoming really tiresome, and lame. It is a big cop out and the writers should be ashamed!

I'm curious who pays all of Lana's medical expenses. I mean, they practically have hospital room reserved for her (room 258). The girl's been in that Hospital more than anyone. And I think it'd be funny if the hospital staff started referring to Clark by first name, as he's in there to see people about once a week.

Some of the doctors have in the past like Dr. Scanlan in Scare (previously Dr. Yeager in Resurrection).

If she keeps going to the hospital, they will rename the bed in Room 258, the Lana Lang Memorial Bed. Seriously, she should take out a mortgage for one of those rooms. It would be a whole lot cheaper.

but kristin done an amazing job with what they give it to her...

I was so caught up in the episode, I was actually surprised Lana got knocked out. I thought "Cool, she'll see Clark is an alien, equate him with being like the destructive aliens she's seen, giving some kind of development this season."
*BONK*
"Oh. Figures."

Ugh, another problem with the writing of the show. She could withstand pulling a dagger (or whatever) through her hand from a wall, but the second Zod "love-squeezes" her neck a little, she's all "oh my gosh, my head...I'm so woozy!" I think Kristen Kreuk (sp?) might be a nice person, but Lana needs to be put in the "ex-cheerleader-Phantom-Zone"...and forever. :)

You know, I have a new theory also concerning her relationship with Lex. Maybe the writers should get her outta the main storyline and make her "Mercy", Lex's female bodyguard (like from the cartoon series of late).

I expected her to be out when Clark arrived to save the day, I just wish they had waited a second later, after she just got a glimpse of him arriving. I would have given her something to think about

After watching the episode a few more times... ;) they kind of made it so you didn't know for sure if Lana passed out before Clark said "let her go" maybe she heard him say that right before nighty night time.

On a side note when Lana took the dagger to kill Lex (zod) she should realize that Clark was being the good guy when he was planning on killing Lex. Maybe they will start to become friends again. Everytime her hand starts to hurt maybe that will remind her that if she would have listened to Clark it wouldn't be hurting. ;)

Lana being out is not a surprise, but I was disappointed they did not allow her in a fainting glimpse, see Clark come into the room. Then she would be questioning his involvement in Zod being gone. Lana's at her best when she has information and is allowed to act on it.

No, no, no. That would require actual intelligence. And, so far, Lana hasn't shown ANY of that!

It pains me to say that, too, since I was a staunch Lana-defender... But let's face it. She's gotten on my last nerve.

"Boohoo, Clark is lying to me. I know, let's go make out with LEX, cuz, you know, he's totally the poster boy for candor and honesty!"

You see things like Lex not remember what happened, or Lana passing out after being thrown around like a rag doll by a pumped up supercharged Kytpoian top soilder doesnt supries me, not after the millionth time its been done. . . No nope no way not with these writers.

Howerever these are things that would shock me should they come to pass on this show. . .

1. Lex, Lana or Lois actually remembering what happened.
2 These same people acatully catching Clark in the act not just a glimspe or a milisecond too late
3 Green Kryptonite not making Clark sick (yeah right like that would ever happen)
Clark not always getting there to save the day for Lana Lois or Lex.

If just one of these things happned I would be in shock not exepcting it like I always do with the memrory wipes.

I wasn't at all surprised that she was knocked out. Actually it would be like a day without rain that any of them weren't knocked. Lana's just more then usual. I actually felt sorry for her and I told my room mate that she gets knocked practically every episode (and doesn't use of the skills she used from Lex but this time it was a bit different so I'll cut her some slack on this one).

Poor girl. Though grating, what now, she's been trampled by a horse, forced into witchhood, a vampire, stabbed in the hand, had an undead bf, stalkers, numerous concussions, nearly forced to sire a Kryptonian lineage...it likely goes on.

That's how the life of Lana rolls in Smallville. I thought she was going to get worse than a choke and smack after trying to stab Zod.

Big surprise and annoyingly convinient......It's high time she gets to know about Clark's secret because this series is not doing a very good job of making things look logical..

Weakest part of the episode and an utter cop-out. I thought 'YES' she's finally going to find out with a battle royale between Zod and Clark. But no
