i think that he wanted to impress Clark because he saw how Clark and chloe where friends...that and i think he only wants chloe calling him Jimmy......aww so cute....besides i guess he thought that James sounded more grown up....like the name Clark Kent.......James Olsen.....at least that's is what i think...

Because he is a big boy now. He has a real job.In the BIG CITY. Maybe he even has his own desk. But....it would be nice for Chloe to have a regular boyfriend. Lex really gave her a low blow last season by nastily pointing out that she was the only one that never has been in a relationship. It's time. She's attractive. Everyone else has had relationships. I even think Shelby has been seeing the dog on the next farm. (why Shelby is AWOL most episodes)

yea that scene was funny,u could tell jimmy was intimadated by clark.He walked in at the wrong time lol,so maybe james sounded right in his head at first til he said it.Then u can kind of hear him backin off of it like "well its been my name since well Um today" haha.I can see him questionin chloe thruout the season about her feelings for clark lol.

It was funny....The way he paused, I love Jimmy in all the Superman movies and in Lois and Clark...So I guess I just Love him. Not a huge fan of the whole Chloe/Jimmy thing. He was probably intimidated by Clark and wanted to make a good impression.

What I want to know is why Chloe was surprised that he worked at the DP. She met him while she was working at the DP. What was he doing if not working there as well? Are we really going to have to tolerate unique Jimmy Olsen backstory, or can we just assume that he's always been a kid photographer?
