I felt this wasn't addressed clearly enough in "Zod". After Zod leaves Lex, the burn on Lex's hand heals. So what do we think? Previews for next week indicate no, but then how is the healing explained? Does Lex still have some Kryptonian powers?

I don't think so.

he had that healing ability before he got his powers. fine gave it to him.

me neither.....i think that it was the symbol that did that to Lex's hand....glad that it did because if i was Clark and that was still on Lex's hand i would burn the whole hand so you couldn't tell the symbol.....because we saw how well that worked out a few seasons ago....

Ah! Good point! So, maybe he retains a portion of his powers. You'd think the crystal would've sapped those too.

maybe.........i wonder if he keeps them the whole season or will it be like.... One season he does, one season he dosen't...and we go through the whole season that way till the season fianle and then BOOM......they put this whole thing on it and we are left confused......

When Fine gave Lex the super healing powers it was in preparation to be a vessel for Zod. Likely that will leave him as that was the whole Zod connection, but who knows? And the scar likely left because Zod also left the body.

I think that alittle piece of Zod is still inside of Lex, and that part of Lex won't recover

I think it was like Clark's El Family symbol brand fading in Phoenix.

But I would rather have Lex with super healing abilities (but without powers). It would allow Clark and him to have some good physical fights, but on the other hand he would be too much like Wolverine (Lexerine?).

Lex still have Fine as Brainiac's blood in Lex's body. I guess Fine will show up later to Lex to help him or Lex can figure out more about the Krypton code he just found on his laptop.

First, ask why they put the brand there at all. It only lasted about 5 seconds, and with the whole "Zod shade coming out of Lex and getting sucked into the crystal", it couldn't have been meant to convey the same thing. We have all the evidence we need that such occurred. The only reason the brand was there at all was to show that it healed, which means Lex still has his super healing. Whether he retained any other powers is still unknown (but I think it's unlikely).

I don't think he has Zod's powers? We have to wait and see you know? He may have them or he may not?

Logically, Lex should still have the powers he was given by Brainiac's 'preparation', but logic has never governed this show. The healing could be a hint, and I hope it is.

I'm leaning toward this idea.

In theory, when Lex's body was exposed to the Kryptonian artifact and Zod was removed from his body, perhaps, like when Lionel touched Fine whiel being possesed by Jor-El, the crap flowing though his body was neutralised.

I like the Lex of the comic books, a corrupt and whealthy genious, keep the super power stuff out of it.

I think he does not have the "zod" powers any more. I think it is just the healing bit from the pieces of fine that fine injected him with before the season finale episode. Which also goes along the lines from past seasons where he does not get sick much/heals due to the kryptonite from first shower and all that.

"Is Lex still Kryptonian?"

My answer is No. He is now 100% human. What would be nice, is if they could explain how Zod's ghost could empower Zod's human body with superhuman powers.

It was the crap that Brainiac injected him with, basically it was "braniaic juice", what the Braniac personages are made of, that silvery liquid metal type crap.

That is why Lex's body had "kryptonian-like powers" without being kryptonian.

He was "prepared". That's the most detailed explanation of anything ever presented on the show.

Lex had powers before Zod arrived. Those powers were magnified in some fashion. Lex should still be 'bulletproof', strong, fast and have super-healing, if in fact the healing shown is indicative.

I would imagine that Lex will have decided to act as if all is back to normal, realizing the value of hiding his secret from Lana, et al.

Lex should still have 'powers.' Zod was only extracted from him, not his powers too. The burn of the 'S' healed itself... how else can it be explained?
