Don't forget that dead doesn't equal dead on Smallville. Jor-el will be back -- I bet restoring the fortress is part of Clark's quest for season 6.

Yes, I loved that line, as much as I loved the look in Clark's eyes when he was hearing about his father and mother in the Phantom Zone. He's coming around to see him as a good man and not the horror he pictured him as. I hope he takes the crystal and wears it somehow, or keeps it close by at any rate.

Yes, that was a fantastic scene: the look, the line... everything! I can't wait to see how Clark gets the FOS up and running again, because I bet Jor-El's gonna be around a lot more this season.

That was a great line.

I loved that the end of this episode was so much like the end of Superman II. The lines were a bit different, but basically the same meanings, and the breath Clark took before he took Zod's hand.

This was a pretty cool episode.

Two things

1) we saw Zod (sort of, but I liked the way it was done), but were we not also going to see Jor-El ?

2) After Clark "pushed" Zod out of Lex, Clark held the \S/ medallion, looked into the sky, and kind of had a look of revelation. I swear, I thought he was about to take to the skies, but then a commercial came on. Does anyone else have a different interpretation of that scene ?

IMO the medalion you're reffering to is actually a PZ portal and from the special effects I got the impression that Zod was sent back in the PZ.
