I thought he said all Copies of him was destroyed.. I didn't think he meant the original was destroyed cause we saw him piloting the plane..

If you noticed the pilot's seat, it was torched and the plane crashed when he was destroyed.

Well, considering his survival record in the comics, I'd say he's just fine. We might not see him on SV again though.

What if that broken piece of whatever Zod had that now Lex has is a fragment of Braniac. And now Lex is going to be obsessed with rebuilding Braniac just like other versions of him

Just like in Justice League: Unlimited, eh? Hmm... sounds interesting... that would be the 'Black Box' mentioned in spoilers as well... !!!

Also, I thought it was confirmed Jimmy would be back after he was done on Broadway?

Maybe episode was finished before he said he’d be back so they’ll just have to come up with some super-contrived way to bring back BrainIAC in true Smallville Fashion.

I thought the writers should have brought some clues that Brainiac is still alive somewhere but i think they just wanted to resolve the Milton Fine arc so I guess it was good to claim that all Brainiacs were desroyed (to the best of his knowledge)

What Jor-El should've said is that James Marsters was not available to be in any more Smallville episodes so that is why all of the Brainiacs are gone for good.

I don't think Brainiac is ever coming back on smallville because Jor-El said that all copies of Brainiac have been destroyed and clark destroyed the original Copy of Brainiac

And...how do you know that was the original copy?

Obviously Braniac survives, the question is will we see him again. I like the Black Box theory, it makes sense that the "Hard Drive" would be the brain of the ship, ala Braniac, and so Lex may try to rebuilld him, as he does in multiple occassions in the comics, in JLU, and in the Animated Superman movie "Braniac Attacks!"

ya i think it would be cool if he rebuilt brainiac and hopefully james could come back or maybe they will have him come as the green brainiac version.

As long as the Black Ship's hard drive exists, Brainiac coming back is always a possibility. I wonder if the disk will drive Lex to restoring Brainiac just like he did in Justice League Unlimited.

Given that Brainiac is a computer program that can download himself anywhere, there's a more than likely chance that he'll be returning. Will it be in Smallville's lifetime? Probably not. Although, I do remember reading somewhere that James would be coming back.

If it helps, you can at least imagine Brainiac resurfacing later in Clark's life as Superman.

The copies of Braniaic were destroyed meaning that the orginal Brainaic can still be out there. which isn't bound to happen because Brainaic isn't returning to smallville:(

Nah Brainiac isn't dead, I think we'll see him later on.

The other thing about Brainiac is that he can come in any form whatsoever. So a totally new guy can play the role, though Marsters would be a tough act to follow.

Shame . I liked him . Smallville needs another actor

Wouldn't it be cool if they did an episode where brainiac returns but in the form of Pete? I really hope they bring brainiac back, it's nice to see another regular villian besides the meteor freaks all the time.
