She just has to kill Lex with the dagger Jor-El gave Clark to kill Lex with.

 I wonder if when Clark comes back, will Jor-El take off his belt and give Clark a whooping? Or will he just tell him to sit in the corner and dare not think of Chloevage? :p

I'll miss Jor-el but it's worth it for him to be gone if it means Clark is going to take control of his destiny. This is very cool. :) I still want him to access the information in the fortress somehow and learn what he needs to learn.

Maybe the symbol he got from Raya can reactivate the Fortress...

By the way on the subject of Martha needing to kill Lex. She gives the dagger to.... Lana?... come on Martha... Clark told ya they were together.. do you really think she would have been able to do it.. and besides that... shes like... what.. 82 pounds?... if she did a hand stand on top of the knife and had Lex lay down under the point of the knife.. she probably still couldnt get it to pierce his skin..

Well, why would Zod let Martha anywhere near him. He would sooner kill Martha than let her near, whereas Lana knew how to be close to him.

yea but.. well all knew she wouldnt be able to get the job done. That dramatic irony is a killer!

I'm still trying to figure out why she didn't stab him from behind. She was like "OMG, I'm gonna stab you now, RAH!" totally giving him time to stop her...

*shakes his head sadly*

I was a little confused about this, is Jor-el actually gone for good or is he going to come back?

I believe that the FOS will be revived somewhere down the line this season...Maybe sometime during the midseason.

i think jor-el wont come until the last season. reason being, now they'll show clark trying hard to find the crystal or watever needed to re-activate the FOS so clark can finally become the superman we all know by learning everythign he needs to from his father, jor-el. thats where the series will end, basically where the movie starts, where superman leaves the FOS for the city to take on his own destiny.

thats just wat i think. coz if they show jor-el back anytime soon, then there is no reason for clark not to learn how to fly and not become superman (the whole costume shebang), simple.

I do hope that Clark can take it from here on his own. I mean, we've had Jor-El in the picture since Season 2, right? Heck, they might as well have put Terrence Stamp in the credit's he's been around so much. But anyway, it would be very interesting to see Clark can do without Jor-El facilitating everything.

IF Clark was to face all the crap he supposedly will face this season, alone and have to rise to the occasion then, perhaps, the absence of Jor-EL would be a good thing, like the death of JK was SUPPOSE to be, you know, make a man out of Clark.

BUT since we know/assume he will habve help with that whole JLA storyline crap, it may be all for naught.

Then again maybe Jor-El is sick of Clark not listening and decided that Martha should shoulder the burden and he is off to a swingers resort in the Caribbean.
