Jimmy Olsen would probably be a superman refrence.

JO's introduction to Clark Kent at the DP is a pretty huge Superman reference, IMO.

here is one that I caught.

When Chloe was introducing clark to jimmy, she referred to clark as just "A Friend" then she realizes it and actually introduces him by name. Even my superman-challenged hubby caught that.

Remember in Superman 1...

Lois asked Superman what his name was... he simply stated to her... A friend.

Maybe I'm nuts... but it could be a miniscule reference to the mythology.

OH, I didnt get it at first, and If it had been delivered by Lois then It would have, but the thing is I actually got the impresion was more as a way of Chloe to stress the fact that she was brushing off the kiss her and Clark shared in Vessel. And keeping clark in the friend status.

I think you're right. In fact the reference would have been inescapable if Clark had said it in the presence of Lois.

Nevertheless, nice catch nsuck1. Who knows maybe it's a Chlois reference:p (I'm sure there are some Chloisers who think that's the case).

Except for possibly SR (and I don't specifically remember JO calling Clark even in it)...I always remember Jimmy calling him "Mr. Kent"...maaaybe Clark, but typically Mr. Kent. Never CK..

or am i wrong?

The kneel before Zod line was incomplete wasn't it?
