The spike/illyria movie

Is there any news on the proposed movie centering on spike & illyria? I heard an interveiw with james marsters saying he'd like to do it sooner rather than later because he's getting older but his character is immortal. But that was months ago.

wow i just heard about this now today on october 31st and i didnt hear about it anywhere i just seen the posts right here but i love the idea of it especially anything with James Martsters character as spike cause he is one of the best characters ever to be on t.v so i would love to see him in a movie starting off right where the last scene of Angel ended and see he survived along with aleeria or maybe even spike angel and aleeria but i guess we'll see so the movie would start off there show the fight that unfortunately we never got to see cause it cut off right when angel through a punch so they show the fight and show who survied and who got killed.....and i thnk it would be a great movie so hopefully it happens
