I think it is so cool that Joss is taking over this series. He writes young people well and this will really catapult Runaways into being a top ten hit.

Though, the older issues by Brian K. Vaughan are great too!

I was so thrilled when I heard this! B.K.V. did a great job on Runaways but Joss is God and I can't wait to see what he does with it (let's face it, there are few who do 'teenage' as well as Joss!).
I read the Newsarama blurb, though, and he better not kill Nico!

It's about a group of teenagers who find out their parents are Supervillians and that makes them runaway, discovering their own powers as well.

Oh. It's kinda like the movie Sky High, but different. I can see Joss write for this comic.

Sort of like Sky High only way, way darker.
The kids are really on their own after running away.

I'm fairly excited about this but I wonder why BKV is leaving?

He says that he's told all the stories that he needs to tell.

Never read an issue of Runaways in my life, but with Whedon taking over the book, I'll definitely buy it now.
