“Well, Miss Lana.” Lois teased. She had heard Clark call Lana that while walking through the hall. “While you and Black Cowboy Clark here are playing bucking broncos…we are still playing this game.”

Very funny!
I like the way the Clana has been re-kindled in this story. The game is only keeping them from much more important business...
I saw all the speculation on Lex. While this is certainly a nasty possibility, what does he actually have to gain?

Looking over the crowd, Lana felt uneasy. It suddenly donned on her that the game master could be any one here. All were dressed as old West villains or heroes. Clark just happened to be donning black. Therefore, he was the villain. It was rather ironic considering he was always the hero saving every one. Even rescuing Lana’s heart.
“What’s wrong?” Clark grinned down at her. His eyes made her feel at ease. He’d always protect her. She knew it.
“Nothing. I have you now.” Lana pursed her lips together and popped them into a kissing motion.
Clark winked before rubbing his hand over the exposed skin of her back at the base of her neck. Lana quivered as her spine tingled. Clark jutted up his eyebrows as he felt her shiver beneath his touch.
“Stop. How’d you feel that?” Lana placed her arm around Clark’s backside and slid her fingers into the pocket of Clark’s black jeans.
“My skin feels things very intensely….yet doesn’t feel pain at all.” Clark answered honestly. Then he furrowed his eyebrows at his own answer.
“That explains it then.” Lana cocked her head sideways looking up at Clark.
Clark gulped. “Explains what?”
“Why you’re such a good lover.” Lana teased with a little squeeze to Clark’s derriere.
Clark blushed then leaned and whispered. “How would you know? You have no one to compare me to.”
“I haven’t heard Chloe or Lois screaming ecstatically when with the sheriff or Bible peddler.” Lana clicked her tongue on the roof of her mouth in a seductive manner.
“I have a game to win, Miss Lana. You needn’t tease a man.” Clark tried to make a Southern draw.
“And you needn’t use that voice. You sound ridiculous.”
“Awww. I though I’d sound sexy.” Clark feigned hurt as he pouted his bottom lip.
“Oh, baby. You look sexy …actually too sexy for your own good.” Lana noticed the other females in the room checking her man out. “You don’t need to sound sexy.”
“Fair enough, Mam.” Clark sauntered over towards the table where four men were playing five card draw.
Lana watched as Clark strutted his stuff. He had a lot of good stuff to strut.
“Wow. That is what I call a cowboy. Is he an actor or a guest?” A strawberry blonde girl fanned herself. She was talking to a short haired brunette.
Lana turned to glare directly at the girls then sauntered towards Clark with her own strut. She sat in Clark’s lap as he willingly pulled her down to him.
“For good luck.” Clark nodded his head towards the men.
“To have that in your lap is already good luck.” One portly man joked. “I think you already have us beat.”
“Watch it , sistah.” Lois sat on a bar stool beside the two girls obviously playing more saloon girls. Why was she the only good girl in town? That didn’t even sound right to her.
“Excuse me?” The strawberry blonde spun to look at Lois. “My name is Catherine.”
“Well, Cathy, that hottie is taken. And the beauty on his lap would sooner scratch your eyes out then let you lay one of those nicely manicured fingers on him.” Lois took a mug of beer and swigged it down. At least the beer was real in this made up town.
“Aren’t you supposed to be selling us Bibles?” The other girl stated sarcastically.
“I’m backslidden.” Lois quipped as she pointed for the bartender to pour her another beer.
“Easy, dear lady. A man may think you to be loose and not of the proper marrying kind.” Oliver teased as he walked up sporting a silver sheriff’s badge.
“Maybe you should handcuff me and make me not be so bad.” Lois grinned.
“Golly gee, Miss. I’m the sheriff in this here town. I can do no such a thing.”
“That is enough, Oliver. You and Clark really need to work on the cowboy lingo.” Lois laughed as she sipped on her beer. May as well pretend to be a lady around her man.
“Clark? Is that the hottie?” This blonde wasn’t giving up.
“Yes.” Lois rolled her eyes.
“He doesn’t need to speak. He looks like a cowboy. As the song goes, Save a horse….ride a cowboy.” She licked her lips and headed towards Clark.
“She has a death wish.” Lois looked at the brunette that the blonde was chatting with earlier.
“He’ll just shoot her down. Look at his girlfriend. Even I’m not dippy enough to try to take on that relationship.” The girl shrugged. She then began to giggle at the sight coming in the swinging doors of the saloon.
Jimmy was carrying a large suitcase. He was pulling at his bowtie as he waddled under the weight of the case. Chloe was following behind him arguing all the way.
“Tell him, Olly!” Chloe sad exasperated.
“Tell him what?” Oliver pulled his hat off and wiped his brow.
“Tell Jimmy that he doesn’t really have to carry around the Bibles to sell. They aren’t even real Bibles. They’re cardboard cut outs.” Chloe crossed her arms.
“I think it would be fun to play along with our parts. Right Lois?” Jimmy turned to Lois for back up. After all, she was supposed to be his sister in this part of the game.
“Sure thing, little brother.” Lois held up her beer to him.
“Geez.” Jimmy pulled again at his tie.
“Fine. But Bible peddlers don’t sleep with saloon girls.” Chloe tapped her foot as she placed her hand on her waist.
“What?” Jimmy scratched his head.
“Oh come on, little brother. Join the backslidden and sinful souls.” Lois taunted. “Seems Clark and Lana are sure joining our ranks.” Lois tilted her head towards the gambler and saloon girl.
The blonde had been flirting with Clark openly. Of course, Clark ignored her advances. Lana did not. So now Lana had her tongue halfway down Clark’s throat in a full blown make out session.
“Are you going to play the hand or not?” A disgusted guy with pot marks on his face complained.
“I fold.” Clark said as he lay his cards face down. He then went back to kissing Lana.
The man picked up Clark’s cards to look. “You folded on a full house. You’d have won.”
“He already looks like he’s winning if you ask me.” The portly man elbowed a man with a fake handlebar mustache.

“Royal Flush.” Clark smirked as he lay his cards on the table.
“No way! You’re cheating.” Arron stated. He was the pot marked faced man. He had been mad at Clark since Lana’s little bootie wiggled it’s way in his lap.
Life wasn’t fair. The guy was gorgeous with a hot girlfriend and now was winning all hands played. Clark just wanted to get this part of the game over with. He wanted to retire to the bedroom and do more things to the little round bottom on his lap rather than feel it wiggle.
“My man don’t cheat.” Lana defended Clark. “He’s just good…very good.” She winked.
The man jumped up and pulled out a gun. Lana giggled. This was getting like the old West.
“I say you’re a cheater.” The man scowled. Lana giggled some more.
Clark grinned. This was funny.
“Uuum…is this part of the play?” The portly man wiped his brow nervously.
One of the saloon girls walked up and whispered. “Aaron is an actor. He gets paid to accuse gamblers of cheating and challenge them to a gunfight. It’s part of the fun. Special paint balls in the gun. Besides, if Clark gets eliminated by shooting, he’s out of the game. Better chance for you to win. And Aaron has training in quick draw.”
The portly man, who called himself Clancy, smiled. Too bad Clark would be out of the game. He rather liked the young couple’s groping each other.
“I’m not cheating.” Clark winked at Lana.
“Well, I challenge you to a gun duel. Tomorrow. High noon.” Aaron was good. His accent was right on the money.
“Do I say ‘yeah’?” Clark glanced at Oliver and shrugged.
“I’m the sheriff.” Oliver walked up. He guessed this was his part. “Gun duel is the only way to settle this. Make sure your buddies are fair and don’t step in.” Oliver cleared his throat authoritative and pointed to some other actors glaring at Clark.
“Make sure his girl doesn’t pull out a gun as well.” Aaron could just see the little vixen on Clark’s lap doing just that.
“Are you talkin’ to me?” Lana scrunched her nose.
“This isn’t a mafia movie, girly. Yes, I’m a talkin’ to you.” Aaron winked teasingly then went back into cowboy mode. “Tomorrow noon. Better talk to the Bible peddler about your soul , boy.”
Clark scratched the back of his head as he watched the actor saunter away.
“You have to win the fight, Clark. The lady said to stay in the game. You have to not get shot.” Clancy shrugged. “I’m beat. You got all my money any way.”
“It’s fake money.” Clark frowned.
“Yep. But the player with the most money and isn’t pretend dead…wins the trip. I hear it is a really good one this year.” Clancy threw his cards down. “Good luck…you may actually need it in the gun fight.”
“Ready to roll around naked in that fake money?” Lana whispered in Clark’s ear nipping his ear lobe with her last word.
“Lana, I’m definitely going to be walking like a cowboy that has been riding all day if you keep that up.” Clark groaned. “Uuuum but let’s go to bed sans nude body rolling….uuuum in fake money any way.”
“I’ll get your earnings, Clark.” Chloe shook her head. “You two are starting to even embarrass Lois.”
“Riiiggght.” Lana and Clark said simultaneously.
“Shut up, Smallville. Take your girl and do whatever. Just don’t break anything.” Lois began to help Chloe clear up the poker chips and fake cash.
Clark didn’t have to be told twice. He stood up with Lana and walked up the stairs carrying her.
“Does he know the girl can walk?” Jimmy shrugged.
“Maybe she can’t.” Oliver winked. “Sore from all the….horseback riding.”
“We haven’t road horses yet.” Jimmy retorted.
“Chloe, go teach the boy some things.” Lois shook her head. “ I though Smallville was naïve.”
“I don’t think, C.K. is naïve about anything.” Jimmy plopped in the chair beside Chloe. “He was just shy.”
“Well, we get that now don’t we? But I swear…the boy seemed clueless for most of the time I’ve known him.” Lois sat down as well.
“Maybe Clark figures it is time to start claiming what he wants and quit letting the Luthors of the world win all the time.” Oliver said knowingly.
“I guess so. Lex is going to blow his little bald noggin when he sees those two reunited. Lana has some explaining to do.” Lois unbuttoned her high collar.
“Do any of you think that Lex could be the game master?” Chloe interjected.
“I did.” Both Jimmy and Lois spoke up.
“I don’t think so. Clark agrees. Lex wouldn’t let Lana alone with Clark for that long. Not to mention the game master has been watching. He knows that Clark and Lana are…..” Oliver stopped.
“Are getting busy?” Lois lay her head on the table over her folded arms. “ I think every one in the free world know those two are getting busy.”
“I never thought I’d see the day that Lana Lang and Clark Kent would be so into PDA…it's kind of cute.” Chloe admitted.
“Ain’t love grand?” Lois yawned. “I’m tired. Lets go to bed.”
Lana stared intensely at Clark as he pulled the cowboy hat off his head.
“Put it back on, Clark.” Lana grinned.
“What?”
“Oh, please. Be my cowboy tonight.” Lana pleaded then bit her finger tip.
“Yes, Mam.” Clark wiggled his eyebrows.
“Come here, Stallion.” Lana ran and jumped into Clark’s arms.
She ripped at his shirt desperately as her lips bit and teased his neck.
“A little impatient.” Clark teased.
“Clark, patience is a virtue. The last I heard..saloon girls aren’t virtuous women.” Lana began to tug at Clark’s buckle.
“In that case.” Clark grabbed Lana’s dress and ripped it away from her body revealing a nice black corset with matching under panties.
“You ruined my dress.” Lana placed her tongue between her teeth then licked over them slowly.
“I’m not virtuous either.” Clark carried her to the bed. “Mam…can I take off my hat now?”
“No, cowboy. I stripped for you in the cave. Now you strip for me …before I pull out a cattle prod.” Lana wiggled back on the bed and perched on her elbows. Better viewing position.
“In the cave, you were timid. I wouldn’t call it a striptease.” Clark answered.
“Whatever. Just strip. Keep on the hat.” Lana ordered. “Babawawaowwoow.”
“What was that?” Clark asked as he stood up.
“Stripping music. Now get at it….Cowboy.”

“Baby, do you think we’re too physical?” Clark folded his arms behind his head.
“Whhaaat?” Lana giggled. “Clark, don’t be silly.”
Clark frowned. “We have sex a lot. And ….a lot in a short time.”
Lana leaned against his chest rolling her eyes. “Listen. First of all, when we got together that summer. We were first experimenting with sex. We had something we wanted finally happen. So we kept getting caught up in the emotion of it.”
“Yeah. I know that.” Clark moved his arm from behind his head to wrap around Lana.
“Now..We are like in a honey moon period. You kind of left a girl high and dry without touching me for so long. I know you feared hurting me. But now that we know that you don’t. We just want to show our love physically….” Lana blushed. “And you’re really good…at this.”
“Well, thank ya, Mam.” Clark winked as his hand stroked Lana’s bare back.
“Take off the cowboy hat , Clark. I still think it was a miracle the thing stayed on with all the moving.” Lana shook her head. She sure was talking very brazen lately.
“Do some more of that stripper music and I’ll negotiate.” Clark taunted her.
Lana straddled Clark as she grabbed the hat. She tossed the hat through the air.
“I thought you liked my hat?” Clark glanced down Lana’s exposed body. They were getting used to this.
“I like pulling your hair more.” Lana wiggled her eyebrows.
“It doesn’t hurt you know?” Clark suddenly got serious.
“What doesn’t hurt?” Lana pulled the sheet to cover them. Clark was talking. She was determined to listen without being distracted.
“Pulling my hair. Or anything really.” Clark swallowed the dryness in his throat. “ I can’t feel pain.”
“Can you feel my touch? Does it feel good?” Lana furrowed her eyebrows. She hoped it felt as good as him touching her.
“Yeah. That is the strange thing. I can feel that so intensely. But not the pain. Well, when we make love..I feel your fingernails scraping my back. It doesn’t hurt. But it feels so intense.” Clark pushed a stray hair from Lana’s face.
“As long as you feel my touch.” Lana leaned against Clark’s chest.
“Why aren’t you asking me why I don’t feel pain?” Clark’s heart was beating faster with each word.
“Do you want me to ask that question?” Lana leaned up to look in his eyes. They were full of fear.
“Not really.” Clark admitted.
“Then I don’t want to ask. I want you to talk to me on your own free will. NO pressure. As your ready to tell me things..I’ll be ready to listen.” Lana leaned back into Clark’s chest.
Clark flipped her over then examined her exposed body. “Did I do that?”
Clark leaned and kissed a small bruise on Lana’s inner thigh.
“Yes.” Lana admitted.
“Don’t let me hurt you, Lana. Promise me.” Clark traced the bruise with his finger. So gentle that a feather couldn’t be softer.
“I won’t. I didn’t feel it. Maybe, I don’t feel much pain either.” Lana teased.
“I’m serious, Honey. Don’t let me hurt you. I’d never forgive myself if I hurt you.” Clark couldn’t take his eyes off the bruise. It was small but he bruised Lana.
Lana pulled his eyes up to look into hers. “Listen. I will tell you. That's normal. I bruised when we first were together that one night we were in a hurry before your dad came in the barn.”
“Oh. I didn’t know that.” Clark smiled at the memory.
“You’re a big guy, Clark. I’m not so big.” Lana stroked Clark’s hair. “Okay?”
“Yeah.” Clark leaned and kissed Lana’s forehead.
“Are you afraid of being eliminated tomorrow?” Lana sat up. She pulled on Clark’s discarded t-shirt.
“No.” Clark stated confidently. “I won all the poker games …didn’t I?”
“Yeah. How did you do that? It was like you could see their hand.” Lana slid down in the covers.
“Yep. I could.” Clark grinned.
“How!?” Lana was intrigued.
“Guess.” Clark bit his lip.
“I’ll think on it.” Lana closed her eyes.
Clark sighed. He loved the girl laying next to him. He couldn’t get enough of Lana Lang. Soon he too was sleeping.
The next day, Clark woke up to hear Lana singing Ride ‘Em Cowboy.
“Lana, are you okay? Or have other men been buying you beer?” Clark pulled on his pants as he stepped out of the bed.
Lana walked into to the room smiling broadly. She was wearing a new saloon girl outfit that was a little less revealing. She smiled mischievously waiting for Clark’s reaction.
“Am I right?” She placed her hands on her hips. Lana watched Clark’s eyes bug out.
“Yes.” He whispered. “You…you’re right.” Clark stammered.
“Thought so.” Lana crooked her finger as she beckoned Clark to come to her.
Beneath all the material of the dress. Lana had written around her belly in marker. Clark, Lick here.
“Clark, you really need to quit peeking.”

Lana chastised Clark for x-raying her while she was dressed. But it was more of a teasing gesture. After all, she had hoped he would. It wasn’t like he was inspecting the goods that were not seen thoroughly by him. Lana assumed Clark would look for the little garter belt and gun holster considering he was having the faux gun fight. She knew Clark feared she would cheat for him. And she would if she had to. But for some reason, Lana figured she didn’t have to..
“Are you nervous?” Lois had unbuttoned her high collar but still couldn’t get her cleavage to show.
“Nope.” Clark stated cockily before getting up to swagger to the poker table.
“What are you doing to the farm boy? He is getting over confident and conceited.” Lois rolled her eyes.
“He isn’t conceited. He’s convinced.” Lana glared. Fighting words when it came to her man. “And he has every right to be. HE’s perfect.”
Lana huffed away in a puff of anger.
“Geez. What has her panties in a wad?” Lois shook her head.
“Lois, you always insult Clark. Lana doesn’t like it. How would you feel if she insulted me constantly?” Oliver rubbed Lois’s hand.
“I’m just used to insulting Smallville. Besides, the last I checked Lex is her man.” Lois cocked her head sideways.
“The last I checked Clark has always had Lana’s heart. She has always had his. Luthor or any one else will NEVER change that.” Chloe knew that from her own personal experience.
“Okay, lets change subject. Lois, don’t badger Clark around his woman. Simple. Now is any one else afraid Clark may lose? If he does…game over. NO more gambler. Unless they let a Bible seller….sheriff can’t..Rules.” Jimmy scratched the back of Chloe’s hand tenderly.
“Don’t worry. Clark always comes through.” Lois slunk down in her chair.
“Did I just hear a compliment?” Oliver crooked his eyebrow.
“Don’t tell any one.” Lois smirked. “It’s so much more fun insulting him. Especially now that Lana is coming to his rescue.”
They all laughed. It was rather funny a petite girl like Lana taking up for a 6’4” inch muscle bound man like Clark.
“Here comes Aaron.” Jimmy pointed as he got out his camera. He snapped a photo as Aaron sauntered up to Clark.
“Clark use your x-ray for this hand. Clancy looks smug.” Lana leaned and whispered. “Win and I’ll be the prize.” She licked his earlobe.
Clark swallowed. It was a given Lana was his. But it never got old. He squinted his eyes. Then folded while the bet was still low. His three Queens couldn’t beat the four of a kind that Clancy was holding.
“You are too good, Clarkie boy. That pretty girl of yours must be good luck.” Clancy collected his winnings.
“I still think he’s a cheater.” Aaron came in right on queue.
“Clark doesn’t cheat.” Lana stood up and stuck her small finger in Aaron’s face.
Clark sat back with a smile. It never got old seeing Lana all defensive for him. Even though technically, he was cheating as far as he was concerned.
“Oh, I think he is. And I think you need a real man to cozy up to.” Aaron knew that would get the big lug going. It had to look good for others in the game…when he shot Clark.
“That is uncalled for.” Clark stood up. “Don’t talk to her like that.” Uh oh!
Aaron swallowed. Eh! Maybe too much acting. Not good. Big Kansas boy in his face..Real BIG!
“Take it to the street boys. Pistol to pistol.” Oliver stood up saving the actor from a good old fashioned beat down.
“Fine.” Clark was ready to put this guy out of this game. And now.
“Let’s go, Farm boy.” Aaron swayed out of the saloon.
All followed. Lana kissed Clark on the cheek. “Good luck. I want another trip.”
Clark noted that Lana forgot the whole premise of the game. But he had as well at times.
“Oh…and we need to save Lex.” Lana came back to her caring senses.
“Don’t worry, Lana.” Clark kissed her quickly. “Lex is fine.”
“Keep an eye on her, Sheriff. I don’t want shot in the back.” Aaron shot a glare at Lana.
“Hmmph. Like I’d do that.” Lana crossed her arms. The whole crowd turned and looked at her knowingly. “Okay, I would. But I don’t have to.” Lana raised her face until her nose was in the air. “Clark will win.”
Clark winked. Then he and Aaron faced off. Clark didn’t sweat a bead. Neither did Aaron. Clark was waiting until Aaron moved. He didn’t want to be too fast and make all suspicious. Then Aaron made the first move and smiled.
His smile soon was removed when a blue paint ball soaked his tan shirt. “How the …..?” Aaron rubbed the blue paint on his hand. “I…I barely moved.”
“Told ya.” Lana said smugly as she jumped off the porch.
“Yeah, Aaron. She told ya.” One of the other actors teased. “That boy has it all.”
“I think he has it all ....even if he didn’t win the fight…in her.” Clancy pointed to Lana wrapping her arms around Clark’s neck.
“Can’t argue with that, Clancy.” Aaron shook his head. He was still in disbelief. He’d never been beaten at the gun duel. Aaron was there to make all the poker games last. If a real good gambler came along, his job was to eliminate him.
**********************
“You’re fast.” Lana raked her finger over the opening in Clark’s shirt.
“Yeah.” He said as he leaned against the head board.
“You are strong.” Lana squeezed Clark’s bicep. “Not humanly…more so.”
“Yeah.” Clark leaned his head back as he closed his eyes.
“You have x-ray vision.” Lana kissed each of Clark’s eyelids.
“Mmmhmm.” Clark relaxed at Lana’s soft words of acceptance.
“You’re really fast.” Lana raked her finger over Clark’s lips. She entered her finger into the moisture of his mouth touching his tongue.
Clark gulped. “Uh huh.”
“Ummm…all of you?” Lana whispered almost timidly. Almost.
“I…guess.” Swallow..gulp…shiver.
“Do you wanna see how fast?” Lana bit her lip as her face blushed red.

“You win.” The girl smiled as she handed Clark the envelope.
He opened it and frowned. Plane tickets to England. Wow! Very…expensive. Money was no object obviously to the game master.
“Yes…England.” Jimmy smiled broadly. “I’ll get plenty of photos there.”
“Let me explain.” The blonde girl smiled cheesily. “It is another game like this. Our company does this fantasy games based on time periods. You’ll be doing the medieval thing. It is really fun. The game is in an authentic castle and all.” The girl left.
“Let me guess…roles again. I am not going to be some cook or castle sweeper this time. OR some traveling monk.” Lois was glad to have her tank top and jeans back on.
“I think monks are men, Lois.” Lana scanned over Lois. “Eh, may work with the large robe they wear.”
“Excuse me.” Lois frowned. “What are you saying that I look like a man?”
“No. I’m saying that if your tatas are hidden under a robe it could work..you’re tall. That’s all.” Lana crossed her arms.
“Well, I’m average. You’re just a shrimp.” Lois interjected.
“You’re an Amazon you mean.” Lana came right back at her.
“Watch it, Shrimpy?” Lois crossed her arms angrily.
“Chill out, Lois.” Clark wrapped his arms around Lana’s waist from behind.
“She started it.” Lois griped.
“No she didn’t. She was …never mind. Lana didn’t mean anything.” Clark could care less if she did or not. Lois wasn’t going to threaten his girl.
“Of course, you’ll take up for your new bed buddy. Why don’t you two just stop the game and go back to Smallville and lock yourself in Clark’s room? It isn’t like Lex is your concern.” Lois was cranky. PMS was hitting hard and Lana was just too cute with Clark. It was nauseating.
“Excuse me. At least, Clark and I have known each other all our lives almost. We’ve been in love for a long time..It isn’t like I had sex with him on what….the first date.” Lana placed her hands over Clark’s.
“It was second.” Lois screamed.
Clark raised his eyebrow.
“Yeah, that’s much better.” Lana turned around to face Clark. “Come on, Baby. I want to get the back seat so we can sleep on the way to the air port. You wore me out.”
Both Clark's and Lana's face beamed with a tell tale grin. No one wanted to know. Because the way they looked at each other told the story of a private escapade that seemed very satisfying.
Lana tiptoed and whispered. "I'll never have to yell faster again."
"Just remember your wish is my command." Clark whispered back.
Clark took Lana’s hand as they walked towards the Trailblazer.
“Gosh, who are these people?” Lois fanned her sweating face. “Lana is awful feisty.”
“Think about, Lois. Clark and her are in a game to find her boyfriend, who may or may not be in jeopardy. But they can’t deny that they are happy that the game is bringing them together. It took this to bring them both to their senses. There has to be a little guilt mixed in with pleasure. You’re reminding them of that.” Chloe brushed her hair from her eyes.
“I guess…” Lois paused and glanced towards Clark and Lana. Clark was nibbling on Lana’s neck as he pressed into her backside. “Hmmph. They don’t act guilty.”
“I've known C.K. just for short time. I know there is some guilt in with this. Lex isn’t his buddy…but C.K. worries about people.” Jimmy slid his hand to Chloe’s.
Oliver glanced at the happy couple. They seemed so in love. “I don’t think Lex is in peril. So let them be happy.” Oliver assured them.
“What makes you think that, Olly?” Lois touched Oliver’s arm.
“I don’t know. It just seems the game master is having fun. NO one is in real danger.” Oliver glanced over at Lois.
“You’re forgetting Clark and Lana in that cave.” Jimmy reminded him.
“Oh..yeah.” Oliver frowned sideways. Mistakes happen. Who knew that was one of them? However, it turned out to their advantage.
“Let’s go to the airport. How long is this game going to go on?” Lois was tired of watching the lovey dovey Clark and Lana. It didn’t seem fair to be that in love.
“Who knows….until all clues are out there.” Oliver couldn’t help to smile at how close Lana and Clark had become. Just as it should be.
“I love you.” Clark turned Lana around and kissed her passionately.
“I love you.” Lana grinned.
“Tell us a something the world doesn’t know.” Lois rolled her eyes.
“What’s wrong, Lois? Jealous?” Lana climbed in the back seat after Clark. She settled in his lap.
Lana had no idea how right she was. Lois didn’t want Clark. But she did want to be loved that much. If she would slow down a little, she’d see that Oliver was there waiting to be the one to show her that love.
Lana leaned into Clark’s chest as they headed toward the airport. She was content. That scared her a little. Not because she doubted Clark any more. No it was the fact of Clark’s grandeur. He was meant for more than just making babies and tilling land. Although that sounded perfect to her, Lana wouldn’t allow him to sit idly by when he was destined for greatness. How she fit into that destiny was her worry?
“Are you okay?” Clark leaned down and whispered in her ear.
“Of course.” Lana looked up at Clark. Her eyes glistening with happiness. “Just a little frightened about us.” She admitted.
“Oh.” Clark placed his chin on the top of Lana’s head. “Is it all the things you’re learning about me? Are they freaking you out?”
“Not even for a millisecond, Baby. I know who you are.” Lana squeezed her arms tightly around Clark’s waist.
“Oh really.” Clark teased. “Who am I?”
“The man I love.” Lana pulled his face to look at her. “and that, Clark Kent, is enough for me.”

The stewardess had handed each person an envelope in first class. It seems Clancy decided to join in the fun and do this new game as well. He had no clue that the small group of younger people were on a real game. He was an older widow, who was ready to be reminded of his days with his wife. So he was going along to watch Lana and Clark. They seemed like him and his wife up until her losing battle to ovarian cancer.
“What is your role, Clancy?” Clark liked the pudgy old man. He seemed genuinely kind.
“I am the Lord of the Castle. He laughed. By the way, the name is really Charles. I guess I’ll be Chauncy now.” He winked. “I see your girl is sleeping.”
“Yeah, she’s tired.” Clark leaned back.
“You compliment each other well. I don’t mean only in looks, young man. In attitude and personality as well.” Charles smiled.
“She takes my breath away every second that she’s near me.” Clark blushed at his mushy admission.
“My Clara did me the same way. We didn’t have a lot of money when we were young. She couldn’t bare me children. But we had each other. We heard about these games of time period ….sort of like Clue. She and I scrimped and saved so we could have fun in our retirement. We did the games for about two years before she was diagnosed. She passed on a little over a year ago. I didn’t really like the traveling and pretending to be a fictional character.” Charles hesitated as he scratched his balding head. “But my Clara loved them. So one day, I decided to rejoin the traveling games. To remind me of Clara. I was just about to give up these frivolous adventures…” Charles stopped to clear the lump in his throat.
“What changed your mind?” Clark noted Charles’s sadness.
“You and Lana. It gave me happiness that there were two kids out there in love as much as me and Clara. Just watching you two…well, it made me want to live again. NO one will replace Clara. But I can enjoy my life through others…and still keep my Clara’s wishes in here.” Charles placed his hand over his heart.
Clark didn’t know how to respond. He knew Charles loved Clara as much as he loved Lana. The fear of Lana someday being gone gripped his heart. He’d live a thousand life times….as long as each life he’d be with Lana Lang.
“C.K., I’m a knight. A knight!” Jimmy was ecstatic. He plopped in the seat in front of Clark beside Charles.
“Me too.” Clark held up his little gray card.
“Makes all three of us.” Oliver winked as he flashed his card.
“I’m nobility.” Lois beamed. “Hope the dresses are pretty.”
“You mean revealing.” Chloe teased. “I’m a lady in the manor. What is Lana?”
Clark pulled open Lana’s envelope. “She’s a peasant girl.”
Lois began to laugh behind her hand.
“What is so funny, Lois?” Clark arched his eyebrow.
“Lana is in the lowest class. You won’t be able to associate that much with the peasant girl…if this is authentic.” Lois beamed. About time she didn’t have to watch Clark and Lana’s face connected.
“I am the Lord of the castle. I can put the peasant girl to work in the stable…where my knights will have to take their horses to settle for the night.” Charles winked. “I’m sure Lana would help you as you see fit, Sir Clark.”
“Clark, just remember those horses eat the hay. Don’t contaminate it too much.” Lois groaned.
Chloe pulled Lois away to sit farther in the back seating of first class.
“What is your problem, Lo?” Chloe leaned and whispered.
“I don’t know.” Lois admitted.
“Well, if I didn’t know better I’d think you want Clark.” Chloe smirked.
“No..NO.” Lois sighed. “Really I don’t. But…” Lois bit her fingernail.
“But what?” Chloe leaned in.
“I want someone to see me the way Clark sees Lana. I’m jealous. I admit. They have this adoration for each other. I guess….I’m afraid I’ll never have that.” Lois looked at her hands. Never was there even close to an engagement ring placed on her finger.
“Lois, you don’t seem the type to ever want to marry. It is your attitude. I know your thinking what I’m thinking. When this is over…this game…Clark is going to rush Lana to the nearest altar and marry her.” Chloe settled back against the seat.
“Yeah. I do.” Lois glanced at Clark rubbing his hand across Lana’s cheek. “I think I’ll never see that. I also fear that part of me doesn’t want that.”
“It’s okay not to want the married life.” Chloe glanced where Lois’s eyes drifted. “None of us have what Lana and Clark have. They’re connected.”
“I think they’re soul mates.” Lois smiled. “I just don’t know if I have a soul mate.”
“I’m not sure if all do. But look at the handsome guy a couple of rows in front of you. He is willing to be something to you. What that is …is up to you.” Chloe grinned. “Jimmy is no Clark. But I’ll keep him.”
“I don’t get the fascination with Clark.” Lois frowned. “Lana is exquisite and is devoted to the guy. Then you think he is this…I don’t know ..picture of perfection.”
“Lois, first of all, are you blind. Seriously, have you ever seen a more gorgeous specimen.” Chloe elbowed Lois to look at Clark.
“Oh, he is a fine looking piece of meat. And it doesn’t just stop with his face..that body..yummy.” Lois giggled.
“Oh do tell.” Chloe couldn’t help but to wonder.
“Well….”
“What are you two chatting about?” Oliver waltzed back towards the girls whispering.
“Girl talk…and gorgeous men.” Lois winked.
“I hope my name is in there.” Oliver took Lois’s hand and kissed it.
“You are always part of my conversations about gorgeous men, Oliver.” Lois flirted. “Come and sit with me.”
Chloe stood up and walked toward Jimmy. She glanced once again at Clark and Lana.
“I love you so much, Lana.” Clark said to a sleeping Lana. “I hope I don’t lose you once you know.”
Chloe chuckled to herself. Lana already knew. Lana thought of Clark just as she always had. A man that captured her heart. Chloe hoped soon that the secret would be out between the two. However, she understood that Lana was waiting so Clark would accept himself as much as she accepted him. It was a game of love.
Chloe settled next to a sleeping Jimmy. Game of love..funny this game started because Lex Luthor was missing. Now it seemed more about Clark and Lana finding one another again. Chloe furrowed her eyebrows as the thought of who the game master could be….NO way! It wasn’t possible. Was it?

So Chloe thinks that she knows...I wish I did!
You have me completely baffled! Chloe is right, though. The game isn't about Lex, but about Clark and Lana. That's why I can't figure out who would have both the motive and the means.
Argh!

I don't think the game masters would be clark and lana because why would clark lead himself into a kryptonite filled cave and have it collapse on them when he could have died, i don't see clark doing that.
So i think the game master is Lex.

Chloe pulled on the lace that protruded out from the bottom of her thick velvet sleeve. Her fake hair was pinned in a net type hair piece. She glanced down at her cleavage and grinned. At least she kept getting to be sexy. The game master must like Jimmy. Chloe pecked her fingernails on the round wooden table. She had to be wrong but she was going to find out who the game master was.
“Hey” Jimmy walked up grinning. He wore large leather boots with gray tights. He had a large tunic collared gray with a blue stripe design around the edging. He had on a chained head piece and the same chained material draped his arms.
“Jimmy, sweetie, you’re only supposed to wear the chained armor in battle.” Chloe grinned her usual gummy grin.
“Oh…It is heavy.” he shrugged then pulled off the metal mesh from his head.
“What type of games are on the agenda?” Oliver sauntered up wearing a green outfit very similar to Jimmy’s sans the metal mesh armor.
“There is a jousting contest the last day. There is an arrow shooting contest…some dancing…uuuum…here is the list.” Jimmy handed it over.
“The games of strength…that will be Clark. Arrow contest…me…Jousting …me or Clark.” Oliver scribbled beside each contest.
“What about me? I’m a knight too.” Jimmy pushed out his chest.
“Yeah..well…let me keep checking the list. Okay, Jimmy?” Oliver arched an eyebrow.
Chloe giggled then rubbed Jimmy’s shoulders. “Here comes Lois. She looks pleased.”
Lois was dressed in pale green dress with puffed sleeves and jeweled bodice. Her neckline dipped low revealing the usual Lois Lane skin. Her skirts were dark green with gold trim. Oliver leaned back taking in the view.
Clark walked in holding Lana’s hand. He was dressed as a blue knight. His darker blue tunic covered his blue tights. Clark didn’t care much for the tights but it was part of the attire. Lana was dressed plainly. She wore a blue skirt that was slightly shorter than the long dresses of Lois’s and Chloe’s. Her ruffled wife shirt pulled down her arms revealing lovely tanned shoulders. Lana’s tight vest was red and clung to her thin waist. The back of her hair was covered in the same red material as her vest.
“Blue, Clark?” Oliver shook his head.
“What? Green looks good for you.” Clark sat down by Oliver.
“Funny.” Oliver handed Clark the list of games. “Suit you?”
“Actually, I think …I‘m going to sit out on the games.” Clark pulled Lana to sit on his lap
“Oh..really?” Oliver looked puzzled.
“Well, you may as well. The actor, Aaron, said there was a black knight that signed up for all games but the arrow contest. He said the guy’s face was covered with a silver mask.” Lois was intrigued.
Lana furrowed her eyebrows. Then glanced at Clark. Clark lowered his head not to meet her eyes. “Oliver, are you going to sign up for any of the games but the arrow contest than.”
“Yes.” Oliver took back the paper then looked at Clark quizzical.
“Let Jimmy sign up for some.” Clark leaned back.
“NO.” Chloe spoke up. “ I don’t want Jimmy hurt.”
“I’ll be okay. Please, Chloe. It will be fun.” Jimmy pleaded.
“Let him play, Mommy.” Lois laughed then pushed up her breasts to reveal more cleavage.
“Listen, Lana and I are going to go to our room. The games start tomorrow.” Clark allowed Lana to stand up from his lap.
“Sorry, Mr. Kent. But these games are really authentic here. For all the guests' pleasure.” Aaron shrugged. “You can stay at the castle rooms but not be in the game if you choose not to follow the rules.”
“What do you mean?” Lana draped her arm in Clark’s.
“Well, Ms. Lang. You’re from the peasant class. You’re not really allowed to fraternize with the nobility.” Aaron hated telling the young couple that. But rules were rules.
“Oh! I…” Lana frowned. No way was she going to go without her Clark.
“It’s okay. Lana needs to help me in my room. Don’t peasant girls have to work for the nobility? I think I need my bed heated up.” Clark glared at Aaron daring him to say a word.
“That’s fine but….don’t get caught together starting tomorrow. The game comes into play. You’ll both lose your standing in the game. Lana, peasant class has their own games. You will be the only representing that class with your group.” Aaron walked away.
"This is going to be interesting." Lois shook her head. "They'll get caught together as sure as I have a cleavage."
*************************
Clark and Lana entered the room. “This castle is really authentic. But I’m not sure I like the rules.”
“We can sneak. Sometimes having secrets are okay to hide.” Lana watched as Clark headed to the bathroom. At least, that wasn’t authentic. Indoor plumbing was a must.
Lana immediately headed for Clark’s wardrobe . She opened up the large doors. Just as she thought. The black knight’s clothing hung there along with a metal mask laying at the bottom of the suit.
“Find anything interesting?” Clark wrapped his arms around Lana. She jumped startled by him.
“Why are you hiding?” Lana leaned back as Clark nibbled on her neck.
Clark turned Lana to look at him. He stroked her face tenderly. “I’m not hiding from you anymore, Lana.”
lol I agree with Lois... they will get caught for sure before long... acting that way...

“What shall I do for you, My Lord?” Lana teased as she slowly pulled her blouse off each shoulder.
“That's a loaded question.” Clark bit his lip then leaned back on his elbows. “Strip for me like you did in the cave.”
“Hey! Wait a minute.” Lana stopped. “That makes twice you’ve mentioned that. I didn’t catch it the first time. What are you doing?”
“I’m innocent about the cave. I swear.” Clark blushed. “Okay. I remember some things. I don’t know why but the very first part was fuzzy. The parts I remember start with you kissing me then stripping. Nothing before that but pushing you out of the cave collapsing.”
“You remember the sex?” Lana crossed her arms.
“Yeah. But, Babe. I thought I was dreaming. That it didn’t really happen. I don’t even know ..what we were saying. I kind of just see us…you know.” Clark reddened more.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Lana climbed in bed beside Clark.
“I felt kind of perverted thinking it felt so real. Then when you told me it was..I didn’t know what to say. I just know….I was glad it wasn’t a dream.” Clark rolled to his elbow. He pulled Lana’s sleeve down and kissed her shoulder. “Don’t be mad.”
“I’m not mad.” Lana giggled. “Just wondering how we got here. How the game master figures us into the equation now? I mean….I was thinking the game master was Lex for a while.”
“Yeah, right!” Clark shook his head. “If he was, Lex would have put a stop to the game when he saw you were involved. No way would he want you to be with me.”
“But maybe…he is spying on you. I guess that is why I’m not really worried about him.” Lana rolled to her elbow as well to face Clark.
“Well if he is spying on me. Lex is sure getting his eyes full.” Clark ran his finger through the laces on Lana’s vest. “and his money’s worth.”
“I’m a peasant girl. You’re getting awfully close to a girl under your class, My Lord.” Lana giggled as her nosed crinkled.
“Mmmmhhmmm. I’m a Black Knight remember? I could care less about rules. I take what I want…when I want.” Clark raised his eyebrows than lowered them.
“What is it that you want?” Lana swallowed as she felt Clark’s moist tongue on her neck.
“This body of yours. Perhaps, I will make you my own personal wench.” Clark growled then continued his assault on Lana’s heated skin.
His hands discarded both their clothes in super speed. Lana lay there staring with wide eyes. “You are…wow!”
“Yeah, but some things are better slow.” Clark was now hovering over Lana’s nude body.
Lana gulped. Clark leaned to kiss her lips. The upper lip was sucked into his mouth then the lower lip. Lana’s fingers entangled into Clark’s hair as she pulled vigorously. It was nice knowing he couldn’t feel the pain from her excitement.
Lana thrashed her head side to side as Clark continued to torture her body in the most sensuous of ways. His mouth tasting her skin painstakingly slow. Lana moved one hand over Clark’s shoulder blade as the other hand still was entwined in Clark’s locks.
“Please.” Lana pleaded with panted breath.
“I’m trying to please you.” Clark taunted. He then continued his quest of making Lana’s body surrender to his touches.
“I need you…I need you so bad.” Lana whimpered as she begged Clark .his.
Lana took her hands to Clark’s hips. Clark giggled sexily before reaching Lana’s hands above her head. There he held her hands still with one of his large hands grasped around her wrists.
“I’m not done yet, my Lady.” Clark’s touches ignited a fire in Lana so scorching that she wanted to cry for lack of any other emotion pouring forth.
“I’m no lady. Please…don’t make we wait.” Lana fluttered her eyes open and shut as she pleaded.
“Patience is a virtue.” Clark mocked.
“Baby! Clark! I’m going…to..pass….” Lana screamed as the ecstasy of Clark Kent using his super gifts in lovemaking hit her.
“Sh%t!” Clark jerked up. “Lana…Lana…”
Lana was out cold. That wasn’t supposed to happen. Clark watched her breathing settle to a slower pace. He rolled over throwing his head against the pillow. What now? Wake her up and finish? Or just let her sleep? He sure wasn’t finished yet.
A knock at the door quickly jolted him from his debate. Clark picked up his jeans from the dresser. He wasn’t going to wear tights but during the game. Tights just were not his thing. Clark covered Lana up. He smirked at the smile she had on her face. He then walked to the door.
“Yeah.” He opened the door partially.
“My Lord, Sir Chauncy has sent for you to join him for dinner with the other knights and ladies. He also informed me to tell you that the peasant girl will be unwelcome according to the class but she will be eating in the kitchen off the main dining quarters.” This actor was playing his part to the hilt.
“Thanks.” Clark rubbed his messy hair.
“And sir, Knight Queen asked me to inform you that a new guest has arrived. The guest is known to be the White Knight…or the hero as it shall be.” The actor walked away.
“Great. That figures. I have to fight the freakin’ hero want to be.” Clark glanced back at Lana. He looked at the invitation. Dinner time was soon. He may as well awake her.
******************
Dinner time was festive as all the people in the game laughed at the antics of jesters and other entertainment. Clark, on the other hand, missed Lana being by his side. He kept staring at the wooden kitchen door.
The so-called White Knight had not joined them for dinner. Clark was curious how the knight would view him. At least, the man wouldn’t know he was the Black Knight.
“Clark” Chloe leaned to whisper. “I’m sure Lana misses you. We’re all headed to the large room to allow the dancers to entertain. Go see her.”
Clark smiled. When everyone cleared the room, Clark hurried to the kitchen. Lana was by herself trying to get the fire burning.
“What happened?” Clark walked up to wrap his arms around Lana’s waist.
“I forgot to do my duty and put wood on. I can’t get the thing to start back.” Lana sighed.
Clark stared at the logs ,which suddenly burst into flames.
“Thanks, Clark.” Lana held her hands to heat them up. The castle was damp and she felt in need of a fire.
“How did you know?” Clark turned Lana to face him.
“You dried my clothes in the cave.” Lana shrugged.
“Lana…why?” Clark’s mouth closed as Lana’s finger went to his lip.
“The same reason you didn’t tell me you had some memories of there. I don’t want you to feel pressured. I don’t know all things about you. I’m waiting for you to decide when the time is right.” Lana smiled.
“I love you.” Clark leaned and kissed Lana hard.
He then pulled up her skirts. His fingers raked over her skin as he pulled Lana free of her binding undergarments. His tunic was pulled up as well. He hated the tights but they were coming in handy now.
“We could get caught.” Lana clicked her tongue on the roof of her mouth.
“I know. So let me have you.” Clark pushed Lana’s body against the stone wall as he made hurried love to her.
Lana moaned his name as Clark gripped her thighs and forced her legs to wrap tighter around his waist.
“What the …” A man’s voice broke their escapade.
Clark and Lana turned their head to face the man dressed in a white knight’s uniform. Clark lowered Lana to the ground after fixing his tights and tunic. Thankfully, her large skirt had hidden their flesh. But the skirt wasn’t quiet capable of hiding what they were doing.
“Lex.” Lana gulped.
“Get away from her!” Lex scowled as he headed towards Clark with closed fists.
“No. Lex! I think we need to talk.” Lana stepped in front of Clark.
Clark placed his hands on Lana’s shoulders. “I can handle this, Honey.”
Clark moved her aside and stepped to Lex. Lex punched Clark before grabbing his fist in pain. Of course, Clark faked it hurt as he grabbed his mouth. He didn’t give in much because he wanted Lex to feel the sting of hitting his skin.
“Honey! So she is your honey now?” Lex’s body seethed with anger. He held his hurt hand close to him.
Clark held his jaw feigning pain but just stared at Lex. “Lex….”
“We were hunting you, Lex. You were supposed to be kidnapped. We…we rekindled our feelings.” Lana sighed. She didn’t want to hurt him. But she wasn’t giving up on Clark. NOT ever again.
“That easy huh? After all he’s done to you. You just take him back..and do him in the kitchen.” Lex was breathing heavily as his chest heaved in and out with anger. “He’s turned you into a slut.”
“Don’t even..”Clark warned as he stepped towards Lex. Lana placed her hand against Clark’s chest. She knew if he made contact with Lex as angry as he was Clark would hurt him giving the fact Clark could feel no pain.
“Clark did hurt me…badly.” Lana admitted. Before she could say another word, Clark spoke up.
“I was wrong. I know that now. Lana has accepted my apology as well as given me a second chance. You may as well accept that we’re together.” Clark spoke up.
“SHUT UP! I have heard enough from you the last five years. You and your higher than thou attitude..yet, you have sex with Lana right in open like this…and she belongs to another.” Lex stated vehemently.
“I don’t belong to any one. I’m not a possession, Lex. YOUR’S or Clark’s. I am with Clark…but no one owns me.” Lana took Clark’s hand to entwine with hers.
“Are you really sure about that? He seems to always draw you in. What hold does he have on you if not possession?” Lex slammed his fist on the table. He grimaced at his own stupidity when angry.
“I love her. It is something you could never understand.” Clark wrapped his arm around Lana.
“What are you doing here, Lex? Are you the game master?” Lana breathed in before asking.
“What game master? I have been in the Middle East searching for an artifact of great value. It seems I was sent on a wild goose chase. “ Lex hesitated then glared at Clark. “I was sent this invitation to join the game. IT stated that I would find the game of interest. As well as the winnings of great value to my search. I assumed that it was for the artifact.”
“What artifact?” Lana rolled her eyes.
“That is no longer your concern. You chose your bed. NOW lie in it.” Lex glanced at Clark. “This isn’t over Clark. No one treats a Luthor like this and gets by with it. NO ONE!”
Clark and Lana watched Lex storm out. “He makes a strange White Knight.”
“Yeah, well you make a stranger Black Knight.” Lana leaned back against Clark. “I didn’t want him to find out that way.”
“It wasn’t in the plans for me either. He is early in knowing. I wanted you to tell him.” Clark yawned.
“We better get to bed. After today, we have to sneak.” Lana pulled on Clark’s hand.
“Lex is not kidnapped, Lana. We don’t have to win the game.” Clark followed.
“Now I just want to beat Lex. Possession…humph.”
Lex walked into his room. He angrily threw down his faux sword on the bed. He stared at himself in the mirror. How could she and Clark do this? Was Lana so naïve that she preferred a farm boy to a real man? All the times he tried to make love to Lana ....she refused. Lex assumed it was deep wounds left by Clark’s emotional abuse. But she was willing to allow Clark her body obviously any time he took a notion to have her.
Lex slammed his fist in the dresser. He grabbed his now aching hand cursing under his breath. He glanced at the fake sword. He wondered if Clark Kent would like to be at the receiving end of a real blade. Lex also wondered how he could get by with a murder.
Lex paced back and forth across the room. His anger increasing with each step. How could a farm boy get Lana? He understood before that Lana was young…naïve. But now he had given her the taste of the good life…the pampered life. For what? So she could run back to Clark Kent’s bed. To a man that treated her like nothing…when Lex had treated her like the queen that she deserved to be treated like.
He hated Clark. Every fiber of his being loathed that man. If he could strangle him with his bare hands, he would. The pleasure in seeing Clark gasping for breath would be worth giving up Lana for.
Lex picked up the paper with each contestants name on it. Clark wasn’t even playing games. Lex’s guess was it had to do with sneaking time with Lana Lang. There was a Black Knight. He probably was an actor. Considering Lex had signed up and was intrigued when they offered him the position of White Knight, he assumed an actor would play the villain. Lex rubbed over his bald head. A hero befitted him…he thought.
Lex picked up his cell phone. “Yes, I am Lex Luthor. I have decided to fund some of your great adventures. The only thing I see stopping me is the fact of some people are playing knights but not in the games.”
Lex paused to listen to the manager of the games.
“I’m finding this game lacking. The way I see it…send the ones not willing to play in the game packing.”
“Thank you. I knew you’d see it my way.” Lex grinned.
Lana would be without Clark. Her head would clear and she’d be back in his arms crying pitiful tears at her stupid mistake. He’d forgive her. Of course, that would come with a price to pay. Her body for his forgiveness seemed suitable.
***********
“Hello, yes.” Clark frowned. “ I understand. That will be no problem.”
Clark hung up the phone. He scratched his chin.
“What is it, Babe?” Lana rolled over lazily keeping the sheet pulled around her nude body.
“I have to join the games or leave the castle. They said they would be glad to set me up in nice hotel. New rules…”
“Probably Luthor rules.” Lana sighed. “He is so vindictive.”
“I don’t blame him.” Clark turned to stare at Lana. Lana bit her lip at seeing his nude torso. “I’d be upset ..I was upset…when I lost you.”
“You never really lost me.” Lana raked her finger over Clark’s bare chest.
“You ready for another go?” Clark lay down beside her. He pulled the sheet up and whistled.
“Funny. Too exhausted.” Lana smacked teasingly at Clark’s hands. “What are you going to do?”
“I guess be the blue knight and the black knight. I’ll have to lose a lot as Clark. I can’t exactly compete with myself. I guess I’ll look all nerdy and a dork for not playing the games so well.” Clark frowned.
“It’s okay. I think you are a hot nerd. Besides setting up another identity would take suspicions away from the black knight…being you.” Lana leaned on Clark’s chest.
Clark ran his hands down Lana’s back. Two identities …extreme opposites. It could work.
“I looked like a complete idiot. Did you hear Lois making fun of me?” Clark leaned his head into his hands. “ I can’t believe you talked me into throwing the game that bad.”
“Don’t whine. It is the best way. Now every one thinks you’re a bumbling nerd." Lana tried to expain.
"Exactly! I may as well put on glasses with tape in the center and wore suspenders." Clark groaned.
"If memories serve me correct. You were kind of cute in glasses. But the other ..naw. Come on, Clark.” Lana sat down and rubbed his back. “You get to win as the Black Knight. I don’t want Lex to even get a hint that you are ..special.”
“I know. But people were laughing at me. I just fell off the horse..I know how to ride a horse.” Clark closed his eyes as Lana continued massaging his muscular shoulders and back.
“But Clark Kent isn’t supposed to know how to be hit with a jousting stick and stay on a horse.” Lana chuckled as she leaned and kissed Clark’s neck.
“Make me forget that I’m not a dork.” Clark leaned back to look into Lana’s eyes.
“I’ll make you forget your name.” Lana teased as she put her legs around Clark’s waist piggy back style.
“My Lady, will thou make my body feel pleasure after I have forth with been beaten in my day’s jousting attempt by the Bald Knight.” Clark locked Lana’s legs around his waist and rubbed. “Accompany me to my
room.”
“No, I can’t, My Lord. For you shall be scorned for being with a lady of such lowly class.” Lana teased as she kissed the nape of Clark’s neck. “But you as a knight of shady ways can take me in the yonder hay.”
“I shall take thee in every stack of hay in this stable.” Clark stood up with Lana with him.
“By the way, I’m thinking that forth with..isn’t really used in that sentence.” Lana teased as she draped her arms around Clark’s neck.
“Don’t think. Action is all I want.” Clark flipped Lana off his back causing her to land on the hay.
He smiled as Lana scooted back on the hay. Clark allowed his tunic to drop as he stared down at Lana.
“Those tights leave nothing to the imagination.” Lana licked her lips. “I like them. You should wear them more often.”
“Just for you.” Clark teased. “I was wondering if you like my tights this way..” Clark winked. “Or off.”
In a flash, Clark was standing naked. Lana sucked in air at the awe of him. The vision of his nude body never seemed to stop causing her to be thankful that he was hers. Clark lay next to her as he slowly began to remove her peasant dress.
“Why do you speed strip but slowly torture me by undressing me so slow?” Lana closed her eyes as the back of Clark’s hand raked over her breasts.
“You’re like an extravagant gift. You open the wrapping slowly because the anticipation of what lies beneath is well worth it.” Clark slid Lana’s dress down to her waist.
“You’re so good with that tongue of yours.” Lana meant his words…..Clark wiggled his eyebrows. “You know what I meant …you’re good with words..”
“Oh really. I think…I need to remind you of the other day.” Clark leaned and licked down Lana’s neck.
“Oh…You are playing the Black Knight to the hilt.” Lana squirmed as Clark continued his sumptuous assault on her body.
“I’m not playing. I’m serious.” Clark growled as her jerked Lana to be atop him.
Lana squealed delighted when she found her clothing missing in a blur.
“Fast enough.” Clark inquired before he decided to stop and stare at his beauty.
“Clark?” Lana touched his face. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.” He smiled. “I want you know that. I love you.”
“I love you.” Lana ran her finger over Clark’s forehead. “Don’t worry about us. We will stay together forever. NO matter what.”
“You mean that. Don’t you?” Clark swallowed.
“Make love to me. Clark, just make love to me.” Lana wrapped her hands around Clark’s neck then leaned down to capture his soft lips.
**********
“Where is Clark?” Lex glared at Oliver.
“I’m not his keeper.” Oliver scratched his head. Clark lost badly in two games today. Luckily, Oliver won the arrow contest.
“He’s probably hiding in embarrassment. He was a joke today.” Lex smirked. “He’s probably licking his wounds.”
“OR Lana is.” Oliver crossed his arms in a satisfied demeanor.
“Who is that?” Lois interrupted. “Is that the Black Knight? He is a big guy. He looks…super sexy.”
“Put your eyes back in your socket, Lois.” Oliver shook his head.
“I’ll take him down as quickly as I have the other contestants.” Lex marched off feeling threatened by the menacing knight on the black stallion.
The stallion reared up as Clark held on tightly. Lex watched as the Black Knight expertly knocked one rider down after the other.
The Knight seemed proud with his chest pushed out. He rode by Lex. Lex stepped back when the Black Knight pointed at him cockily.
“Looks like he’s telling you..you’re next.” Oliver laughed then walked away.
The stallion reared up. Even Lex noticed the red cape flying behind the Black Knights neck. It was intimidating enough but with the black armor combined with the contrast of the red cape flapping in the wind, Lex felt inadequate.
“This actor is good.” Jimmy whispered as he snapped the picture. “This is going to be fun.”
“Indeed it is.” Chloe glanced to the stable. The girl looking out caught her eye.
Lana looked out from the stable. She smiled content at the lovemaking that had passed. Now she was watching Clark pose as the black knight. She’d have to watch from the stable so no one would question about Clark. She’d pretend to be with him all the time.
She knew this was the part of life that she was to let him be the hero. The savior of the day. She’d be content standing in the shadows of this part of his life. Standing with open arms waiting to embrace him back to normalcy. His connection to humanity. His connection to her.

Lex seems the slightest bit unhappy with Clark...
Funny how all this seems to parallel Superman... Tights, red cape, nerdy identity versus superhero, etc.
Very good fun! I just hope the black knight gets to beat up the white night. ;)

The black stallion stomped at the ground eagerly awaiting to run. The horse had been trained for years in the art of jousting. Lex Luthor had also been given the privilege of jousting lessons for years as a youth. It coincided with his lessons on sword fighting.
Clark, on the other hand, was learning to use his abilities to help him win. It was no longer a game to find out where Lex was. But it was to win against Lex. The man that had tried to take all he had at every turn. However, Clark couldn’t help but to feel smug that Lex never really had Lana. Her heart always belonged to him. It always would.
Behind the silver mask and black metal suit, Clark felt a confidence he had never experienced. He could be himself.
The same confidence that had built up as his and Lana’s relationship grew each day. His lovemaking was no longer awkward or worried. Now, Clark knew that aspect of his life was under control. He also had a confidence that Lana Lang would love him no matter what.
Yet, in the back of his mind, the nagging feeling was Lana’s acceptance of a life with him with all it may entail. Clark was facing he had a destiny. Lana was helping him do that in a way that she didn’t even realize.
Clark glared at Lex down the track from him. Clark felt enjoyment knowing that Lex would fall to him. Lex smiled smugly before getting on the horse. Then glanced up to the podium where the announcer was dressed in a hilariously over down costume with a feather sticking out from his hat at least one foot.
“Today, the White Knight has decided to make the challenge even more interesting. He has suggested that a peasant girl should be the prize. A dinner with the winner of this contest.” The announcer proudly said the lines. “The peasant girl may decline the game. However, she can get points for her participation that will go towards the win.”
Chloe squirmed uncomfortably. She knew where this was going and didn’t like it one bit. Oliver smiled smugly and shook his head. Lex Luthor was a bigger fool than he thought.
“The request that the peasant girl, Lana Lang, be the prize.” The announcer finished.
Lana grabbed her mouth. Great just great. Lex was making her a possession literally now. Lana walked out from the stable straightening her messed hair. She cleared her throat as she brushed down the front of her skirt with her hands.
“I accept the invitation to be company to the winner.” Lana smiled sweetly as she walked to the podium.
“Clark is going to blow a gasket.” Lois whispered.
“He’s probably still sore from the earlier joust. Maybe Lana gave him something to relax and he’ll sleep it off.” Jimmy shrugged.
“From the disarray of Ms. Lang’s clothing. I do believe she did give the boy something to relax.” Sir Chauncy couldn’t help but interject. Young love…so sweet.
“Let the competition begin.” The announcer proclaimed.
Clark spurred the horse as he headed full force towards Lex. Lex quickly did the same. Lex’s javelin broke immediately upon hitting Clark first. It splintered away to nothing. Every one cheered and clapped. Lex had won a point.
However, Lex frowned down at the javelin. He had forgotten to change it with the one that he had earlier. The javelins were fake and meant to break away. However, Lex had snuck in one of his real javelins to use on Clark. He forgot to replace it when continuing the competition with the Black Knight.
How could the wood break away to splinters? Perhaps, the actors armor was made of more sturdy material than they gave the contestants.
The horses and knights lined up again. Clark was ready to end this. He had what he needed anyway. So off they went for round two. Clark held his javelin steady. He aimed it at Lex. When his chest was about to get hit with the Lex’s javelin. He grabbed it in one swift moment. He picked Lex up along with the javelin and tossed him to the ground. It was done with only one hand.
The audience was astounded. The hush that fell over the crowd was evidence. Finally, Lois spoke up.
“NO way. He picked him up with one hand. He didn’t even hit him with his jousting thingama jigger. He..no way.” Lois couldn’t believe what she saw. The rest of the audience was with her.
Finally, the announcer shook himself from the stunned state. “Point for Black Knight. Although, when a knight is knocked from his horse, the other knight is declared the winner. This was very unusual to say the least. So at this point, I call it a tie. Continue.”
The horses once again lined up. Then the knights sped down the track. Clark took aim as he swiftly moved from Lex’s javelin. Clark’s javelin hit Lex square in the chest causing him to fly off his horse. With a thud, Lex’s rump hit the ground.
Cockily, the Black Knight circled Lex on his horse. “Thank you for the gift of the fair lady for dinner.”
Clark’s tone was so different than his real voice. It was muffled by the mask but that was not all. It exuded confidence and pride. Clark pranced his horse to the podium where Lana stood.
“My lady.” He held out his hand to help her on his horse.
Lex looked up in a scowl as he dusted off himself. Well, to him it was a semi successful day. Although, he had wanted to win a chance to be alone with Lana, at least the Black Knight would take her time away from the farm boy.
“I have a boy friend.” Lana giggled as her leg went around the saddle of the horse.
“Who has that pleasure?” The Black Knight help Lana adjust herself on the saddle.
“The blue knight.” Lana giggled.
“Oh. The bumbling idiot. He should have been a jester rather than a knight. Let me show what a real knight is capable of.” Clark wanted to bust out laughing.
Instead, he and his horse galloped away with the winnings of the game.
Lana laughed so hard after getting out of ear shot. Clark dismounted the horse then helped Lana down. Lana’s laughing stopped when she saw the rip in his the arm of his tunic.
“Clark, Lex hit you..the javelin.” Lana knew he couldn’t hurt. But she had seen him bleed. She had seen him have wounds. Even if they did heal. There was no blood from a wound.
“When I said I could feel no pain. It was because I’m pretty much invulnerable.” Clark threw the metal bindings to the ground.
“Oh, Clark…you can never get hurt.” Lana was relieved.
“I can with meteor rock…” Clark sighed. “And you are my other weakness. You can hurt me more than any pain I know.”
“Don’t worry, Clark.” Lana ran her small fingers over Clark’s face. “I’d never hurt you.”
@@@@@@@@@@
Lana thought of all the scenarios of Clark. He lay in bed with his head propped up by a few fluffy pillows.
Lana knew their life together would be strange.
But seeing him do things as he was doing. Seeing him pose as one person than return to her as another. It brought reassurance to her that this would work. They would work.
“Clark….” Lana whispered. “The Black Knight is winning all events. People are talking.”
“I know.” Clark ran his hand across Lana’s bare back.
“You really were great saving that man yesterday.” Lana smiled. “He really didn’t know how to use that torch did he?”
“No. I can’t believe he set the whole tent on fire. Good thing, I had the Black Knight mask on. I just walked in and got him.” Clark pushed himself up.
“How did you hear that so far away?” Lana kissed Clark’s neck. “Wait!” Lana gasped. “Don’t tell me …super hearing.”
“Yeah.” Clark said sheepishly.
“You never cease to amaze me.” Lana laughed. “Come on. Let’s get dressed. The game reception is in a few minutes. We get to know the game master.”
Clark smiled mischievously. He pushed out of bed to get dressed. Lana’s body became exposed from under the cover.
“I think we can be late.” Clark jumped back in bed with Lana.
Lana squealed as Clark tickled her. He then caressed her sweetly.
“Clark..come on. We just finished. Super sex is good for you but I am exhausted.” Lana giggled.
“Please.” He pouted out his lower lip.
“Make it quick…"Lana laughed when Clark wiggled his eyebrows. "Forget I said that."
*****************
Everyone was dressed in the finest clothes of medieval times. Lois looked exquisite standing next to her knight, Oliver. Chloe and Jimmy made a striking Lady and Knight as well.
Lana and Clark scurried down into the reception room. Lois glanced at Chloe. They both rolled their eyes and chuckled at the disheveled appearance of the two lovers. They just didn’t stop did they?
“The game master would like to thank all who came tonight.” Charles pushed out his chest. “ I would like to personally give him a round of applause….Mr. Bruce Wayne.”
“Thank you. This has been one great experience. I have enjoyed orchestrating this. I would like to thank Lex Luthor for following the game in the Middle East. He was a pleasant player. All the clues and quests he made to find a none existing artifact was entertaining. His contribution to the game had many paying to see his courage.” Bruce nodded to Lex.
Lex smiled with a fake smile. He was really angry he had been pulled into this. After all, he had lost Lana because of this game.
Applause rang out. This made Lex pretend to be happy about the game. He'd make the likes of Bruce Wayne pay for making him a pawn.
“Many others have also participated in my game around the globe. Thank you. You have made this charity event by far the most successful in Wayne Industry's history . The winner of the games here was the Black Knight. He graciously gave his points to Charles.” Bruce handed a check to Charles.
“And I graciously give this to Lana Lang. The girl most like my Claire.” Charles smiled.
“I…I give it back to Wayne Industries to put into charity.” Lana shrugged as her face reddened.
The applause exploded.
“Thank you. Now enjoy the rest of the evening.” Bruce smiled as he stepped down.
“This is going to be a great article. All this for charity.” Chloe smiled.
Oliver excused himself. He walked up to Bruce. “I owe you one.”
“Your donation to the clinic was enough for me to make your party and Lex Luthor part of my game. Even if I never heard of you being involved. Torturing Lex was fun.” Bruce laughed. “Why did you orchestrate your part of the game? You being the game master in that is rather secretive.”
“I wasn’t the game master. Clark Kent was. He saved my life.” Oliver cleared his throat. “I owed him a lot.”
“Hmmm. Clark almost got killed according to you.” Bruce scratched his chin.
“I don’t think Clark knew of the green meteorites. He is allergic to them strangely. That was a mistake of major proportions. Luckily, he pulled through.” Oliver glanced around. “There is something strange about the guy. Each part of the game he set up…he knew he could win.”
“I see.” Bruce took a sip of his drink. “What are you getting at?”
“Clark is special, Bruce. I don’t know how. But he is.” Oliver watched as Clark danced with Lana.
“Why would he set up the games to reveal himself?” Bruce watched the direction Oliver was looking.
“For a girl. He played the game to win a girl. It was all for her.” Oliver shook his head.
“Must be some girl.” Bruce laughed as he watched Clark spin Lana around.
“Must be.” Oliver winked.
Lana's and Clark’s mouths met in a kiss.
************
Lana stood in the loft staring at the sky. Clark and her had arrived only a few hours earlier. Lex still vowed he’d win her back. Lana laughed in his face.
Clark reached around Lana’s waist enveloping her in his arms. “What are you thinking?”
“I was thinking that with each game came more information about you. The cave was to show your strength. But weakness wasn’t factored in. The speed, the hearing, the invincibility….so many coincidences. Too many.” Lana leaned back against Clark’s chest. “Was it worth being the game master to win me back?”
“You knew.” Clark swallowed.
“I figured it out. When Lex showed up unharmed and revealed he was sent on a wild goose chase..I almost laughed.” Lana ran her hand along Clark’s strong arms.
“I didn’t know how to tell you.” Clark loosened his arms and began to pace.
His chest grew heavy with labored breath. His eyes filled with tears. Clark raked his hand through his thick locks.
“I …I just wanted…you to know me.” Clark stammered out.
“I do know you, Honey.” Lana smiled.
“No you don’t. I still …Oh …”Clark breathed in quickly. He looked like he was going to faint or hyperventilate.
“Clark..it's okay.” Lana touched him. “You’re shaking so much. Calm down.”
“There is more than my abilities. I’m not a meteor freak.” Clark swallowed.
“I know that. You’re allergic to the meteors. I saw that in the cave. You're no freak. Stop calling yourself that.” Lana touched Clark’s cheek.
If she accepted him. Clark felt he could accept himself.
Her finger stroked away a tear. This was really upsetting him.
“I…there is more. The big secret. You died once because of it. I wanted you to figure it out. Chloe and Pete did. I didn’t tell them. They were safe. I guess I thought I wouldn’t be punished if you figured it out. You wouldn’t die again.” Clark sat back on his desk. “I can’t relive that. Please believe me.”
“Clark, I do.” Lana walked over and stood between his legs.
“Lana…I …” Clark swallowed. His breathe was caught in his throat along with his words.
Lana couldn’t take seeing him so distraught. He deserved to be relieved.
Therefore, Lana whispered as she leaned into Clark. “It is fine. I love you, Kal-el.”

With much chagrin, I have to admit I never saw that coming! :o :\
So Clark was the gamemaster all along, and the Green Arrow arranged the opportunity. Good for Lana to figure it all out.
Great story and a surprise ending - exactly the kind of tale I like.
