Time To Juggle Two Stories! :D
Knowing me, I'm going start mixing details on accident.
Summary: This story has been told a million times. It's the classic Lana/Clark break up story in high school only to meet later in life.
I like it, though. So, I'm going start my own version. Sorry to anyone that this story sounds eeirly similiar to! I'm also going use a different writing style for this one, as so I don't confuse myself. I'm really that dumb..
Ok, here's the scoop. Clark is just a man with amazing powers. He doesn't have to worry about a destiny or any of that such. He was only sent to Earth when Krypton was being destroyed. The only time Jor-El speaks to him is when Clark approaches him at the Fort Of Solitude for training on how to control his powers. Lana Lang decided to move back to Paris after high school hoping to meet another person like Jason.
Chapter One: College, Here I Am!
Clark was walking toward his dorm room with a couple of boxes in his hands when someone behind him placed their hand on his shoulder and whispered in his ear, “Hey handsome.” Clark grumbled to himself thinking it was another adoring female fan congratulating him on accepting the football scholarship to Met U. He could of unpacked all his boxes and had his room done in ten seconds flat, but it’s taken him an hour just to get half the boxes in the dorm thanks to all the fans.
He turned around and dropped the boxes. “Chloe! Of all the people I didn’t expect to see you. Thought you took a job at the Daily Planet and were going skip out on the college experience.”
“Nah, everyone needs a college experience. What was with the grumbling when I said hey handsome?”
“Well Chlo’ let’s just say you’re not the first person to say hey handsome to me today.”
A couple of good looking girls passed by and waved at Clark and giggled when he smiled over at them. Chloe just rolled her eyes at him. “The farm boy soaking in the fame of being a college super athlete? Who’d a thunk?”
“I’m not doing anything! I’m just waving to whoever waves to me or mentions my name.”
“Well Clark that might explain why you only have five boxes in your room when I know you’ve been here since the crack of dawn. Every person on campus has said hi to you.”
Clark looked around and itched the back of his head. “So Chlo’ any chance you’ve heard from um...-“ Chloe knew exactly where he was heading with this. “Lana?” Clark shook his head and looked away. “No, no, um Pete. Have you talked to Pete yet, I’m sure he’d be glad to see you.” Chloe just looked up. She always knows when Clark is lying. He has the worst poker face on this planet. Not that she knows the poker face of people on Krypton. “Whatever you say, Clarke boy.” She walked off toward his truck to see if Pete was unloading.
Clark turned away and started to walk back to his dorm to drop off these boxes when he glanced over by a tall oak tree and thought he saw a small woman with raven black hair walking toward a different building. He just looked in the other direction disgusted with himself. ‘Why can’t I get over her? She left for Paris never to come back. She’s gone for good! I keep thinking I see her, but it just turns out to be someone who looks like her. I really have to stop imagining her and move on with my life.’

Lana was heading toward her town suite when she glanced over at where most of the dorms were and thought she saw a tall man with wearing a red jacket and a blue plaid shirt underneath holding a couple of boxes staring at her. She gasped and looked around for a second before looking back in that direction only to notice no one standing there. She just looked downward disappointed. ‘Me and my active imagination. Why won’t it stop taunting me by flashing images of him? I mean he had a full ride scholarship offer to any school he wanted. He’s probably long gone. Never to be seen again.’
She just continued to walk toward her town suite when someone ran up to her and grabbed her shoulder. “Lana?” She turned around half-hoping it was Clark. That he’d come to sweep her off her feet and tell her how much he missed her. She just wanted to tell him those exact feelings. Her love for him is never ending. Never forgotten, no matter how hard she pushed it to the back of her mind. “Chloe? Wow it’s great to see you!” She turned toward Chloe and gave her a giant hug. “Wow, Lana, how long have you been back from Paris?”
“About two months. I decided that after Jason, Paris just wasn’t my thing. Decided to come to school here. What happened to the whole going straight to the Daily Planet plan?” Chloe grinned at herself having this almost exact conversation minutes earlier. “Well, things change. Decided to give college a shot. Anyhow, back to the important things, Paris.” Lana just giggled softly knowing that the reporter instinct never leaves Chloe. “Come to my suite, I’ll explain it there.” After walking a short distance they arrived at a group of town suites connected to each other and walked into the one on the far right. They immediately when to a plush couch in the living space and Chloe didn’t even give Lana a chance to sit down before she started probing for questions. They sat there talking for about an hour before Chloe mentioned she had to leave for something and told Lana she’d be around, and etched her phone number down on a piece of paper before leaving. “Just give me a call if you want to know anything!”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-A Week Later
Clark was heading toward Chloe’s dorm to ask her if she’d like to grab a bite with him while Pete was out ‘exploring the field’. He went up to which dorm she said was his and knocked on it a couple of times. He heard a muffled voice shout out, “One second, I’ll be there soon!” ‘Odd… that voice doesn’t sound like Chloe, but it does sound familiar.’ He looked down at his addressee book to make sure he was at the right dorm number and checked the number on the door and it was the same. The door swung open and he dropped his addressee book and the cup of orange juice he was holding and didn’t even look down when it shattered. “Lana?”
