Time To Juggle Two Stories! :D
Knowing me, I'm going start mixing details on accident.

Summary: This story has been told a million times. It's the classic Lana/Clark break up story in high school only to meet later in life.
I like it, though. So, I'm going start my own version. Sorry to anyone that this story sounds eeirly similiar to! I'm also going use a different writing style for this one, as so I don't confuse myself. I'm really that dumb..

Ok, here's the scoop. Clark is just a man with amazing powers. He doesn't have to worry about a destiny or any of that such. He was only sent to Earth when Krypton was being destroyed. The only time Jor-El speaks to him is when Clark approaches him at the Fort Of Solitude for training on how to control his powers. Lana Lang decided to move back to Paris after high school hoping to meet another person like Jason.

Chapter One: College, Here I Am!

Clark was walking toward his dorm room with a couple of boxes in his hands when someone behind him placed their hand on his shoulder and whispered in his ear, “Hey handsome.” Clark grumbled to himself thinking it was another adoring female fan congratulating him on accepting the football scholarship to Met U. He could of unpacked all his boxes and had his room done in ten seconds flat, but it’s taken him an hour just to get half the boxes in the dorm thanks to all the fans.

He turned around and dropped the boxes. “Chloe! Of all the people I didn’t expect to see you. Thought you took a job at the Daily Planet and were going skip out on the college experience.”
“Nah, everyone needs a college experience. What was with the grumbling when I said hey handsome?”
“Well Chlo’ let’s just say you’re not the first person to say hey handsome to me today.”
A couple of good looking girls passed by and waved at Clark and giggled when he smiled over at them. Chloe just rolled her eyes at him. “The farm boy soaking in the fame of being a college super athlete? Who’d a thunk?”
“I’m not doing anything! I’m just waving to whoever waves to me or mentions my name.”
“Well Clark that might explain why you only have five boxes in your room when I know you’ve been here since the crack of dawn. Every person on campus has said hi to you.”

Clark looked around and itched the back of his head. “So Chlo’ any chance you’ve heard from um...-“ Chloe knew exactly where he was heading with this. “Lana?” Clark shook his head and looked away. “No, no, um Pete. Have you talked to Pete yet, I’m sure he’d be glad to see you.” Chloe just looked up. She always knows when Clark is lying. He has the worst poker face on this planet. Not that she knows the poker face of people on Krypton. “Whatever you say, Clarke boy.” She walked off toward his truck to see if Pete was unloading.

Clark turned away and started to walk back to his dorm to drop off these boxes when he glanced over by a tall oak tree and thought he saw a small woman with raven black hair walking toward a different building. He just looked in the other direction disgusted with himself. ‘Why can’t I get over her? She left for Paris never to come back. She’s gone for good! I keep thinking I see her, but it just turns out to be someone who looks like her. I really have to stop imagining her and move on with my life.’
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lana was heading toward her town suite when she glanced over at where most of the dorms were and thought she saw a tall man with wearing a red jacket and a blue plaid shirt underneath holding a couple of boxes staring at her. She gasped and looked around for a second before looking back in that direction only to notice no one standing there. She just looked downward disappointed. ‘Me and my active imagination. Why won’t it stop taunting me by flashing images of him? I mean he had a full ride scholarship offer to any school he wanted. He’s probably long gone. Never to be seen again.’

She just continued to walk toward her town suite when someone ran up to her and grabbed her shoulder. “Lana?” She turned around half-hoping it was Clark. That he’d come to sweep her off her feet and tell her how much he missed her. She just wanted to tell him those exact feelings. Her love for him is never ending. Never forgotten, no matter how hard she pushed it to the back of her mind. “Chloe? Wow it’s great to see you!” She turned toward Chloe and gave her a giant hug. “Wow, Lana, how long have you been back from Paris?”

“About two months. I decided that after Jason, Paris just wasn’t my thing. Decided to come to school here. What happened to the whole going straight to the Daily Planet plan?” Chloe grinned at herself having this almost exact conversation minutes earlier. “Well, things change. Decided to give college a shot. Anyhow, back to the important things, Paris.” Lana just giggled softly knowing that the reporter instinct never leaves Chloe. “Come to my suite, I’ll explain it there.” After walking a short distance they arrived at a group of town suites connected to each other and walked into the one on the far right. They immediately when to a plush couch in the living space and Chloe didn’t even give Lana a chance to sit down before she started probing for questions. They sat there talking for about an hour before Chloe mentioned she had to leave for something and told Lana she’d be around, and etched her phone number down on a piece of paper before leaving. “Just give me a call if you want to know anything!”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-A Week Later

Clark was heading toward Chloe’s dorm to ask her if she’d like to grab a bite with him while Pete was out ‘exploring the field’. He went up to which dorm she said was his and knocked on it a couple of times. He heard a muffled voice shout out, “One second, I’ll be there soon!” ‘Odd… that voice doesn’t sound like Chloe, but it does sound familiar.’ He looked down at his addressee book to make sure he was at the right dorm number and checked the number on the door and it was the same. The door swung open and he dropped his addressee book and the cup of orange juice he was holding and didn’t even look down when it shattered. “Lana?”

Chapter Two: Table For Two?

Clark and Lana stood a time still while staring at each other. The next few seconds stretched for what felt like an eternity. Neither of them spoke, they were too surprised to find themselves staring at each other in their friend’s dorm. Clark heard some footsteps walking out of the bathroom as a voice knocked him out of his trance. “Hey Lana, who was at the door? Lana? Who’s oh…” She stopped when she saw Clark and Lana with their eyes glued on each other, both with a face that was mostly of horror and surprise. “Well ummm... guys I err...” She glanced down and saw the broken glass on the sidewalk and the orange liquid flowing into the cracks between each slab of pavement. “I’ll head to store to pick up something to clean that glass up with! I’ll be back in a second!” She grabbed her purse and rushed out the door pass both of them, who neither of them even so much glanced at her when she left.

Finally Clark spoke up nervously. “So, can I at least come in?” Lana snapped out of her trance and moved aside beckoning him to come in. She then shut the door and they both headed toward the couch. Clark and she sat down at the same time and the old couch groaned under their weight and bent downward slightly. Lana slid down the slick leather surface and collided into Clark. They both scampered to opposite ends of the couch with hues of red climbing up their faces. After a few minutes of uncomfortable silence Clark finally spoke up. “So, how was Paris?” He asked nervously. “It was nice, but there was something here in Smallville that I could never get out of my head. Something just had my drawn back to Smallville, couldn’t push it out of my head no matter how hard I tried.” Clark looked up surprised at that. “Oh, what was that?” Lana thought to herself on that question. ‘Well Clark, no matter how hard I tried to forget about you and leave you behind I couldn’t. I love you too much so I came back.’ “Oh, I really don’t know. There’s just something I couldn’t ever get out of my head. Just nagging in the back of my mind.”
They sat for a few more minutes uncomfortably fidgeting with themselves in their own spot having their feelings for each other suddenly rush back into their heads after spending so much time trying to force them to go away. They both sighed a breath of relief when Chloe busted in with a garbage bag in her hand and glass poking out of small holes. She looked over at the old couch where the two were just sitting there picking at invisible things on the couch. Trying to keep the situation from spiraling out of control she asked what Clark came over for. “Well, I was going ask if you wanted to go out and grab something to eat, but if you already have lunch plans I can just go grab Pete.”
“No, no. Lana and I were both actually getting hungry though. How ‘bout you pick the place Clarke boy and we’ll drag along.” Clark stood up and walked out the door. He called Pete on his cell and told him to meet up at the diner that was about 30 yards from their room.

Pete was sitting comfortably at the diner waiting for Clark to arrive. He hoped that he persuaded Chloe to come by because Pete never did get over his crush on her and she has finally accepted that her and Clark will never be anything more then friends. He grinned when he saw Clark and Chloe open the diner doors then gave them a look of surprise when he saw a third person stroll in. He rubbed his eyes twice to make sure he wasn’t seeing anything. Yep, it was Lana Lang. Now this is the last person he was expecting to see here. Clark sat down across from Pete and Chloe immediately knocked Pete aside and sat next to him. Clark scooted over so that Lana could sit down. They all sat there looking over at each other before Pete mumbled out, “So, who’s getting what?” Chloe was still reading over the menu so he looked over at Clark and Lana. Clark put down his menu and said, “I think I’m going get La-Lasagna.” Clark mentally hit himself almost revealing what he was thinking about. Chloe just looked down into her menu and grinned knowing exactly what he was about to accidentally slip. “Oh Clarke boy, I don’t think they serve lasagna here. Sorry!” Clark just threw his menu over his head trying to act like he was looking for something else to eat, but was just attempting to mask his reddening face. They ordered and Pete started talking about some basketball game which they all pretended to be interested in and soon left.

Chloe and Pete both took off while they were leaving said they needed to grab something for the newspaper articles they were doing. Clark and Lana walked back next to each other in uncomfortable silence until they found where the sidewalks parted, on leading to the town suites the other to the dorms. They both waved and started walking back to their rooms when Lana turned around. ‘It’s now or never.’ She shouted out to Clark. “Wait, Clark, I was wondering if you’d want to grab a cup of coffee tomorrow morning? It’d be like old times.” Clark stood there for a second processing what she just said to himself. ‘Did she just ask me if I wanted to grab a coffee tomorrow? As in just them? And she said it’d be like old times. Aren’t old times the reason she left in the first place?’ He just smiled over at her. “Sure. Just come knock on my door when you want to leave.”

Are they ever going to get over the bumbling and stumbling? :(

Lana seems pretty sure about what she wants. Clark, as always, seems almost clueless.

I really hope it is better than old times for the two.

And is Chloe going to give in to Pete?

Chapter Three: Mean Girls

Lana pattered her hair and checkered her appearance one more time while standing in front of Clark and Pete’s dorm. ‘Calm down Lana, it’s not a date. Just two old friends getting together to talk about how life’s going since last time they’ve seen each other. Oh yeah? Why’d you wear all this make up when it’s just morning coffee? He’s probably going come out in his pajamas! I always wear make up, I like to look presentable! Ummm humm.’ She sighed and knocked once on their door. Clark’s was still laying in his bed half asleep when his super hearing picked up her knock. Before she even had a chance to knock twice he super sped into his closet and threw on a pair of jeans and a red t-shirt. He put a comb through his hair and shut off the alarm on his clock. He looked over at Pete who was thankfully still fast asleep. He deemed himself presentable and opened the door and walked outside.

They booth stood there for a second looking at each other. ‘Wow, even when he’s just in a simple t-shirt he still looks as gorgeous as ever.’
‘Wow, does she always look this good? It seems no matter where she is and what she’s wearing she’s always the most beautiful thing.’
They stood there looking each other for a second and shifting their hands around in their pockets.
“Hi…” was all Lana could muster. “Mornin’” was Clark’s simple response. “Well, shall we go?” She asked him. “Yeah, sure.” They turned and started walking toward the local coffee place when Lana snuck her fingers through his and gripped his hand. She realized what she was doing and quickly pulled it away and went red. “Sorry! Old habits die hard, huh? He he.” Clark just looked over at her and smiled. “Don’t worry about it. It’s probably going take us both time adjusting to being near each other once again.” They both walked in silence to the coffee house and ordered their drinks. They went over to a table by a window and Clark pulled out a chair for her. “Thanks Clark.” He sat down and sipped on his espresso wondering what they were going talk about.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unknown to them a trio of figured on the other side of the store were watching them. “Look at that, that must be Clark Kent’s girlfriend.”
“Look at her. She’s not even pretty! She’s probably just some dirty slut.”
“Isn’t that what you are Trixi?” Trixi giggled over at the other girls. “Oh, shut up you two! Just because I like to give myself to my boyfriend early doesn’t mean I’m a slut! It just means I’m… dirty.” All three giggled again and saw the two stand up and walk out. They immediately followed and stayed a few paces behind of Clark and Lana. They smiled when they saw the two split up and head in different directions.
“Oh I got a plan girls, and my plan is that Clark Kent will be mine.”

Short update I know, but I just wanted to introduce the villain of the story and I'm also brain dead! Post your comments. suggestions, and all else to do with the story like always!
