Parings: Lex/Lana in the beginning then Clark/Lana at the end

Description: For those of you that had ever watched Sweet Home Alabama this is the same story just with the characters of Smallville.(And if you did see it please don't ruin the story for other viewers!)OK Clark and Lana Where in love since the first day they had met wich was when they were kids and everyone new them as the Kent's because everyone new they would one day get married.And they eventually did. Years later Lana was pregnant with their baby but sadly did not make it.A year later they had decided to go their separate ways Clark stayed at the farm And Lana moved to move to New York were Lex and Lana were engaged. Lana worked at a fashion designer and Lex was the mayor of New york City.Lana goes back to Smallville to try to convince Clark to move his side of the divorce papers ( which he has denied many times).What Lana does not know is that she will end up falling in love with him all over again.

Chapter 1


Lana went home from a long day at work and came home. As Lana walked in the door she was shocked.

Lana:'' Oh my god '' Lana screamed.

Lana:'' Oh my god Lex what have you done.'' Lana walked in the room to find every single inch of her apartment covered with rose petals. Lana went to the living room to check her answering to see if anyone left a message.

Answering Machine:''Tuesday 2:33 pm beep.''

Lex:''Hey Lana I miss you actually every rose petal in your apt. means i was thinking about you. Today I have a fundraiser so i will pick you up around 7:30 later today. Oh and don't think I forgot about your fashion show on Thursday It's going to be great! I love you Bye.''

Answering Machine:''Tuesday 2:33 pm.'' Lana let off a huge smile and hurried to her room to pick out her outfit for tonight she wanted to look extra special for Lex's Fundraiser.

~~~~~~~~~~Lex's fundraiser~~~~~~~~~~

Lex and Lana was in their limo kissing together non stop.

Lex: ''Lana can I ask you a question.''

Lana: ''Ya sure.'' Lana said kissing Lex's neck. Lex moved away and got down on one knee. All Lana could do is panic to his reaction.

Lex:''Lana would you marry me?''

Lana: ''YES!!!!'' Lana cried. Lex put on the 1,000 dollar ring on her fourth finger on her left hand. Lana started to tear up and gave Lex a hug and a long lasting kiss. Lana wiped her tears.

Lana: ''Lex this ring is beautiful''

Lex: It's even more beautiful with you wearing it. Before Lana could say anything the driver opened the door and led them to a very crowded building. They got out of the car and walk through a huge crowd of people waiting to get in.Finaly Lex reaches to his personal assistant Jim.

Lex: ''So Jim how's things going?'' Lex asked.

Jim:'' Everything is going good so did you pop the big question?''

Lex: ''Ya just now in the limo. While Lex was talking Lana was around waving and getting interviews from the crowd.''

Woman: ''So Ms. Lang how is your fashion career going?'' Lana was about to answer the question when someone noticed that she was wearing a very important ring on an important finger.

Crowd: SHE'S ENGAGED!!!! The crowd started to tug on Lana and ask '' MS. Lang when did MR. Luther propose?'' Jim and other body guards took Lana and Lex inside away from all the madness in the crowd.

Chapter 2

The next morning Lana was on the phone with Lex apologizing for what had happened last night.

Lana: ''Lex I'm so sorry for last night. I didn't know if anyone had noticed the ring. Are you mad at me?''

Lex:'' Of course I'm not mad at you it was a mistake I mean we had to tell them anyway it wasn't like we were going to keep it a secret.''

Lana: Ya I know but were you ready for them to know?

Lex: ''If you are.''

Lana: ''Lex I got to go can we finish this later I got to go to work.''

Lex:'' OK call me later I love you.''

Lana:''I love you to bye. '' Lana hung up and went to go plain her professional wardrobe. Lana stepped into her walk in closet and pulled out: a black tang top a black jacket and a pair of jeans and boots. Lana got dressed and waled out the door in a hurry.

~~~~~~~~~~ Lana's Job ~~~~~~~~~~

Lana walked into her office and found her best friend Chloe sitting in a chair with a balloon and a card that had said congratulations on it.

Lana: ''Chloe what are you doing here this early?''

I'll finished the rest of the chapter later today because my grandma is not feeling to good she has a cold. Thanks for reading!:D

Chloe: ''I just wanted to congratulate you.'' Chloe said while giving Lana a hug.

Lana: ''But how did you know. He proposed to me last night.''

Chloe:'' It was all over the news this morning.''

Lana:''Oh great my personal life is down the drain.''

Chloe:'' Well that’s what happens when you’re a celebrity’s girlfriend .''

Lana: ''I know but it’s like their up my butt all the time.''

Chloe:Well that’s one way to put it.’’ Look Lana everything is going to change now that your engaged to Lex, your popularity, your bussines , your friends.''

Lana:''Chloe!! Please tell me now that you are never going to treat me different just because I’m getting married to Lex.''

Chloe:''Lana I was just kidding and I would never treat you different just because your getting married to egg head I mean Lex.

Lana: Chloe your just going to face the fact that I’m getting married to Lex I love him and he loves me and we are serious about our relationship and taking it to the next level. Lana’s assistant came in Lana’s office.

Assistant: Ms. Lang everything is under control here so why don’t you take the rest of the day off ?

Lana: Thank you I just might do that. Lana’s assistant walked out of the door with a smile.

Chloe: Want to go shopping?

Lana: For my wedding? It’s way to early for that don’t you think?

Chloe: No that’s not what I meant I mean want to go to the mall?

Lana: Oh ok lets go. Chloe and Lana walked out and went into Lana’s SUV and put up the radio. They were listening to The All American Rejects Move Along.

Lana: Chloe did you know their going to concert next month?

Chloe: get out no way!

Lana: yah and I have to front row seat tickets but I don’t know what to do before Lana could finish here sentence Chloe screamed: I’LL GO!!!!!!!!

Lana: Oh my god Chloe calm down you knew that I was going to give them a to you any way I wasn’t going with out you at the concert.

Chapter 4

~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Mall ~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lana and Chloe spent all most the whole day at the mall.

Chloe: ''Hey I'm hungery wanna go grab a bite?''

Lana: ''Sure I havent had anything to eat all day im starving!'' Lana and Chloe went to the food court and looked around to find thier lunch.

Chloe: ''Do you know what you want?''

Lana: ''I don't know I think I'm going to have Subway.''

Chloe: ''Sounds good! I Think I'll have the same!''
After Lana and Chloe got thier sandwiches and thier drink they sat at a table.

Chloe: '' So are you scared?''

Lana: ''Scared about what?''

Chloe: " About getting married to Lex?''

Lana: "Of course not I love Lex and thier is nothing to worrie about."

Chloe:" What about Clark?''

Lana: " What?'' Lana said confused.

Chloe:" Clark remember your still married to him!''

Lana:'' Oh my god!''

Chloe:'' So what are you going to do?''

Lana: "I don't know I'm gonna have to go to Smallville.''

Chloe:"Do you want me to come with you?''

Lana:'' Sure I need all the help I need to get Clark to sign his half of the papers.''
Lana and Chloe threw away thier trash and and heded strait to the parking lot and from thier went off to Lana's Apt.

~~~~~~~~~~~~Lana's Apt.~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lana:'' I need to call Lex and tell him that I'm going to be in Smallville for three weeks tops.''

Chloe:'' What if he starts asking you questions?"

Lana:'' Then I'll just tell him that I have some unfinished bissnes to do."
Lana dialed Lex's nummber.

Lex:'' Hello?''
Lana:" Hey Lex It's me Lana."
Lex:'' Hey Lana is everything alright?"
Lana:'' Ya everything is alright ahh I need to go to Smallville for atleast 3 weeks is that ok???
Lex:'' Sure you can do what ever you want I'll set you a flight for tomorow afternoon does that sound ok???
Lana:'' Yes thats perfect thank you Lex I've got to go I love you.''
Lex:'' I love you too bye.''

Chapter 5

Chloe:'' So what did he say?''

Lana:'' He said that he will have a private jet for tomorrow afternoon.''

Chloe:'' So that's it he did not say anything else that's weird he's the one the always asks the questions around here''

Lana:'' Well He did say that he lov..." Before Lana could finish Chloe interrupted.

Chloe:" Lana I really don't want to know about your love life with baldy ok?"

Lana:"*Sigh* Whatever.'' Lana said.

Chloe:''I guess we have to pack now right?''

Lana:'' Yeah I'll take you to your Apt.''

Chloe:'' Thanks let me go get my stuff.''

Chloe went into Lana's room to get her jacket and purse when she noticed a small little black book. Chloe scanned through the book. It took a few seconds till she noticed it was Lana's diary. Chloe put on her jacket and slipped the book in here pocket.

Lana:'' Chloe come on it's 8:45 we need to go!''

Chloe:'' Coming!''

Chloe ran to the car were Lana was waiting.

Chloe:'' Bye Lana!''

Lana:''Bye!''

Chloe went inside and took a nice cold shower after she sat down and on her bed and opened the book and read the first page....

Chapter 6

Chloe took a nice cold shower and and sat down on her bed opened the book and read the first page...


First Page Of Lana's Diary: Lana: today was another normal day Lex is always busy somtimes I think that he is to busy for me but he is the mayor of New York. I know when he does have time for me it's the most romantic day of my life well oart of the day. But when I think of romantic I really think of Clark he always had time for me and every time he did it would be the best time of my life even better when Lex tries.I'm so confused I love Lex but I love Clark even more. And I especialy don't want Lex to know that me and Clark are still married. Sometimes I wish that me and Clark were the same way we were before when I was still in Smallville. The only reason I broke up with him is because I was deprest I just wanted to take all my anger out on some one. I guess I chose the wrong one. One day I'll have him back and we will have a child again. - Lana

Chloe closed the book.

Chloe:'' She still loves him.''

Chloe went to her closet and got out her suit case and started to pack.

Lana got just got back from dropping Chloe off she took a shower and when she got out she noticed that thier was a message and a gift bye her anwsering machines. Lana pressed the play button and opened the present it was a Luis Vaton original suit case.

Answering Machine:'' Tuesday 9:15 pm"

Lex:''Hey Lana it's me Lex got you a Luis Vaton suit case hope you enjoy! Ilove you Lex.''
