I can't be the only fan of these books! The covers make them look a bit scary because they "look" like kiddie books, but trust me they ain't. :p

Here's a list of the books in order:

Dead Until Dark We are introduced to Sookie Stackhouse, waitress and mind reader.

Living Dead in Dallas Sookie contracts to use her mindreading skills to find a missing vampire. Very funny small surprise at the end.

Club Dead Bill is summoned away by a higher-level vampire.

Dead to the World Bill is gone for most of this book, but we find out much more about Eric.

Dead as a Doornail Trouble in the world of the paranormal; Sookie is called on to help.

Bite A collection of short stories one of which is One Word Answer which will explains how Sookie found about her cousin that leads into the next book.....

Definitely Dead Sookie is off to Louisiana to clear out her cousin's apartment.

I believe the next one will be called Dead By Day, buts thats all I know.

Sorry, my bad! I re-checked Amazon and they now have a description "Omnibus edition - contains two complete books. "Dead to the World" and "Dead as a Doornail" ------Southern Vampire Mysteries" So it's not gonna be the title to the new book. :(

Man! I was craving some more Sookie adventures! With lots of Eric.... Dump the new guy... Eric is the man! er, Vampire!

I like Quinn, he makes her happy, and he's not trying to screw Sookie over.

I don't know.... There's something about Quinn I don't like. It just feels all to convient... Plus, the whole Quinn thing didn't feel permant to me. Just something that went a bit too far. But that's okay, Sookie is young and she has a lot of lost time to make up for. Just as long as she doesn't start to turn into another Anita Blake *cough* HO *cough* it's all good.

Eric on the otherhand.. *drools* I know he wants Sookie because of the whole consildating his powerbase thing, but at least he's honest about it unlike somebody else whose name shall NOT be mentioned! *cough* Bill *cough*. Sookie does make him feel more human feelings then he likes, so that's got to be said for something. ;)

But guess what my Sookie fans! There is finally a new book to look out for! Yay! It's called All Together Dead and it's due out in May. But you can read the first chapter at the authors website if you wish:

Also if that wasn't good enough news, there is a TV series in development for Sookie! :eek: Wow! It's going to air on HBO and is being developmented by the same gentleman that created the series "Six Feet Under". Is that cool or what?!

Woohoo!! I finally got my copy of All Together Dead! It's awesome, of course. Anyone else read it yet?
