View Full Version : Post-Smallville K-Site?

This upcoming season, Season 6, of Smallville may very well be its last, and even if it isn't, what will happen to K-Site after Smallville becomes added to the television archives?

With nearly 30,000 members, it would be shame for the forum to be deactivated once Smallville ends. I've been a part of other forums, where once the series dies, the forum died, but then again, those forums didn't have 30,000 members.

Should Craig acquire a new, general URL and route it to a newly-redesigned K-Site forum? Or should it continue to be based around an inactive series?

Once Smallville ends, I think K-Site should become a general TV forum. I think we have enough dedicated members to make the conversion a success.

I don't know, but I just don't want to see this glorious community die and/or I don't want to have to find another forum to post at. :p

Thoughts? :)

maybe then it will be deticated to new show( or maybe Supernatural or Veronica Mars) and it will be above Smallville(Like Smallville is above Veronica Mars) and be the new "centered site" but the Smallville fourm( will still be there

The name of the site is kryptonsite. That being said, its more than just Smallville. It could remain the same and just become more Superman general than specifically Smallville.

Plus, its only a matter of time before theres another popular Superman related TV show.

Though I hate the idea of Smallville ever ending, I know that all good things must one day come to an end, thus I think it'd be a great thing if this site stayed alive as a general message board.

remember this site started out as being based on Lois and Clark: the New Adventures of Superman. It survived the end of that show, I'm sure it will survive the end of Smallville (though hopefully that end won't come for a long time yet!).

I still post at a red dwarf forum, and that show ended 8 years ago. I don't see why this forum should close.

I think all of you make really good points. I think that "it could remain the same and just become more Superman in general."

I hope it doesn't otherwise where else would we moan about how much we missed smallville?
