Save Screeches House?

Remember Screech?that annoying nerd from 'Saved By The Bell'-well the actor Dustin Diamond-apparently owes 250,000 bucks on his home or he will lose it-theres a foreclosure notice on it.
So he wants his fans to buy 30,000 t-shirts for $15 each-theres a pic of him on them-an autograph-and the words 'I helped save Screeches home'.ACtually theres a 3rd e in there to get around copywrite laws.He admits to making millions on Saved by the Bell-but said he lost most of it.Seems to me he could get a much cheaper place-or should of in the 1st place lol.Do u feel sorry for him?Is this a cool thing to do?Would u buy a shirt?

I thought at first it was sad that he would even ask ppl to basically buy his house for him-but i guess its kinda smart too.I mean-hes not goin get 250,00-but whatever he gets he can use to get another place-a nice apartment or to rent a house or maybe even put a down-payment down on a new home.Personally if u read his statements on his website and that he says his job is 'stand-up comic'-he comes across as pretty arrogant-and not trying to do much of anything.

Wow! He's a stand-up comedian? That sounds like a really odd occupation for him. I wonder if he's any good or if he's somewhere along the line of Carrot Top. But yeah, he better get to house/apartment hunting because I don't think he has enough fans to accumulate 250K.

Yeah, I saw him on 100 greatest child stars on VH1 and he said that he made a decent living as a stand up comedian and he knows that most of the people who come see him are actually coming to see "Screech" so he basis's most of his material on Saved by the Bell material. They had a clip of his stand up and he was blathering on about something about "Zack" but the punchline got bleeped so I can't remember the joke.

I don't know whats more sad "Screech's career" or the fact that I watch waaay too much crappy television. :confused: :lol:

Aww, come on. I love almost everything on VH1. That's good informative television. The celebreality? You just can't beat it. I watched some of the greatest child stars, but wasn't it like 15 hours long? (I exaggerate) But, I definitely missed the part about Dustin/Screech. Did he appear to be funny at all? If I ever go to one of his shows, maybe I should take some tomatoes and a carton of eggs, just in case. :D

He was definately on there, which is crazy because now that I think about it... I don't remember seeing the other peeps that were on Saved by the Bell get a shout out, you know the more famous ones that don't have to pawn shirt off's to save their houses or go on Celebrity boxing.

Dustin didn't seem funny to me and the crowd didn't seem to be into him that much, but like I said the punchline to his joke was bleeped because he cursed so as far as I know it was George Carlin worthy - but I am guessing not.

I actually read a review of 1 of his shows.It was at some college-town bar.Ill see if I can find it sumtime and post the link-but from I remember it wasnt very good.He used alot of profanity-at 1 point he took questions and someone shouted "yeh when did u stop being funny'?-to which Screech said something like "FU and the guy being a (rhymes with wussy) from the back of the room"-and the guy started toward the stage and had to be restained by Screeches manager and the bar manager lol.
I wonder if he'll say how much he actually got from his t-shirt sales.What theres only 1 week left I believe.Funny too how he says he'll be 'homeless'-u mean hes got no savings?

I don't feel bad for him at all. Though where I live 250, 000 for a house is a decent price. He could easily get an apartment :confused:
