God of War...HELP!

Ok I know this is an old game, but Its one of the best I've played in a long time. I've beaten the game numerous times on its various stages of difficulty. Im not playing on God mode. For the life of me, I can't get passed the trap after getting the Hades sheild. You know the one where you have to fight numerous enemies ,while the wall closes in on you. Is there a trick I don't know about? Cause I've tried everything. Or do I just keep hacking away?:confused:

well you have to make it strategic kill more than one enemy at a time with magic and stuff
