Pete utters silent words?

can't find anything on this, so I hope it hasn't been discussed to death. In season 2, episode 3, "Duplicity," At approximately 11 minutes 03 seconds, Clark and Pete are in Pete's garage, looking at the ship, and Pete says something like, "to Chloe, this would be like the Holy Grail!" And right after he says that, he says something else, but the audio is muted, or he's just muttering under his breath or something, but I can't tell what he says. Did anyone notice this? Or has anyone noticed this more at other places, and I just haven't noticed it till now? Maybe that was the only good take they got, but Sam said something not in the script? Just curious.

P.S. No spoilers please. I just got the DVD's, and I'm watching the show for the first time, and I'm just in Season 2, episode 10.

I just checked. I have no clue... My mom reads lips, and I could get her to read them, but I moved out four years ago.

i just went and watched it. I am pretty good at reading lips and I am almost positive he is saying "Holy Grail".

in shows and movies they take multiple takes of every scene not only to get the best take, but to get different angles. I am pretty sure pete had just said his Holy grail line, and we weren't supposed to see it/hear it. while they took care of hearing it part, they missed the seeing it part. so it was just a mistake.

well, hope i helped! I am just amazed i never noticed it before! I am always catching things and mistakes like that. I must be losing my touch, lol.
