'With 06/06/06 looming (June 6, 2006), authorities in some cities are worrying prophecy theorists or hate groups might read something ominous into the date and use it as an excuse to stir tension. Some expectant mothers are making birthing appointments to ensure they avoid the date, according to the Sunday Times in London.

And for others, it is a marketing opportunity. 20th Century Fox's remake of "The Omen" and Ann Coulter's book, "Godless: The Church of Liberalism," will both come out June 6.'

Anybody just a tad bit wonderin about this?Even worried perhaps?Or is it just another day?Considering it from a strictly scientific viewpoint its just another day-and the calander is not all that accurate anyway.Besides the fact that if the Earth is really billiions of years old-2006 was a long time ago lol.

The whole #666 thing is just a bunch of superstition. I have heard and talked to people at school who think that on June 6th something bad will happen or the world is going to end but I think it is a bunch of stupid stuff. The only thing that worries me is that people will get too afraid over nothing and start freaking out and causing riots or something and then everyone will go crazy. Basically what I am saying is that if anything bad happens on June 6th it will probably be caused by the people who worry. So don't worry people because June 6th is just going to be another ordinary day.

Friday the 13 is bad because that was the day in the fifth century that the Pope ordered that all of the Knights Templar be slaughtered.

Another interpretation is that there were 12 Disciples and Jesus. That makes 13. Jesus was crucified on a Friday.

And the whole 666 thing is bullcrap.

That can't be a bad date because I add another 6 :p - it's my sixth wedding anniversary :D. That makes now four sixes ;)

Furthermore the attraction of this special date is higher than any superstitious fear that something bad will happen over here. A lot of pairs are going to get married tomorrow.

Well, so far there is only 1 hour and 38 minutes left of 666 and nothing terrible has happened. I had to clean up the inside to my refridgerator and clean up the basement but that is just the ordinary chores I usually have to do. So, to all the people who were afraid of 666, there is nothing to worry about, you are safe.
I just think it is kind of funny how people freak over things like 666 and everything.:lol: :lol: :lol:
