The Next Last Son of Krypton

Okay I have this great idea for this new fic and I wanted to know if it is done before. And I know that I already have 2 but I wanted to try another.

Backgrounds: The story takes place after Mortal when Clark and Lana *did it together*. Execpt Clark and Lana doesn't stay together. After Clark got his powers back he decides to break up with Lana because he doesn't want to continue to lie to her. While on the rebound, she finds out that Jason is actually alive and was found. Jason tells Lana that he loves her so they got back together. Lana gets pregnent, but Jason thinks it's his baby. Jason and Lana move away to New York because Lana is scared that Clark will find out. Lana doesn't tell anyone, not even the Kents. She gives birth a handsome boy name Josh Teague. Josh is now 15 when something weird happens to him. He learns the truth and decides to find biological father to learn more about these strange things.


Chapter 1: The Beginning
Part 1

Lana slowly gets out of bed for the beginning of her busy day. She was a very busy women indeed. As a surgon she would always have her hands full. Jason was away on another bussiness trip for his company. She barely gets any time to spend with her husband or son anymore. They both worked very hard to put themself at the top. They were very, very, rich, famous, and loved.

After Lana finished taking a shower she heads out to the kitchen. Where the maid has already laid out her breakfast. Lana settles down and starts to eat some pancakes.

Josh makes his way down stairs in a leatherman jacket. Josh was the quarterback for Jefferson High. Not only that but he's also captain of the basketball, soccer, and baseball teams. He is the 'Big Man on Campus' since he's got talents for any sport. He's also extremely smart and extremely HOT.

Lana: Hey, Josh do you want a ride?

Josh: Yeah mom, that would be great.

He seats down and starts to much down his breakfast. He had 6 pancakes, 4 bacon strips, and 2 glasses of milk.

Lana: You know sometimes I wonder where you store it all. Your just like your father. Always munching and crounching.

Josh: Mom, I'm an athlete. We eat a lot and besides I need the extra energy for tonight's game. Your coming right?

Lana: Yeah, of course

Josh: What about Dad?

Lana: Josh, honey he only wants what's best for you. That's why he's working so hard. And so do I.

Josh: I know it's just I really need him. Mom there's something wrong. I can't control my strenght and speed anymore. It sometimes go overboard and I can't control it in the games anymore. I don't want to use. It's cheating but it keeps coming.

Lana: I don't know what's wrong you got your powers when you were 5 and now it goes overboard.

Josh: Mom, did dad have powers when he was like me?

Lana: No, Your different. There's nothing wrong with that. You know your father and I love you no matter what.

Lana leans over and kisses him on the head.

Josh: I know it's just that it's hard to understand when I don't have anybody to relate to.

Lana: I know sweetie it's just I wish I can do more to help you.

Josh: Mom, you doing the best you can.

Lana: Thanks, well I better go. Just make sure during the game that you don't try to hard. Just relax maybe that will keep your powers from going overboard.

Lana picks up her keys and head out of the doors.

Lana: I love you. bye

Josh: I love you too. bye

Part 2

Josh quickly got out from his chair and rushed to his mom.

Josh: Mom, what about my ride?

'Sh*t!! I am getting too old. How could I forget? I am 34 and I did find a grey hair today. I don't want him to think I forgot. Make up something Lana!!'

Lana: Um... I.. Um.. I want you go superspeed today since your having problems you might want to control it before your game. Just be careful alright.

Josh: Mom!! huh.. You forgot again didn't you?

Lana: tusk.. No! of course not.

Josh: This is like the 5th time. Are you really getting that old? What are you now? 40? 45?

Lana was about to squish him like a bug. He knows that she doesn't like saracastic and he and his father would always tease her about her age

Lana: Very, funny I'm 34!! I'm not going into the ground anytime soon. I've just been really stress these past weeks.

Josh: Yeah, I can tell. Is that a wrinkle?

He said pointing at her at her face? Lana gap in horrified.

Josh: Just kidding. But seriously mom you have to find some fun in your life. You and Dad both. Your always working at the hospital and dad is always doing bussiness. You guys are no fun anymore.

Lana: I'm sorry sweetie but if we don't work who's going to pay the bills.

Josh: Yeah, right you and I both know that we have enough money to last us for generations.

Lana: I want to give you stuff that I never got.

Josh: Yet at the same time your not giving the one thing I want.... To spend time as a family.

Lana reaches in and hugs him. Tears falling down her eyes. She knows he's right.

Lana: I'm sorry sweetie. Okay I promise this weekend I'll talk to your dad. And we will go on a vacation together Ok?

Josh: That's what you said last time.

Lana: Well this time I'm going to keep it. No matter what.

Josh: Okay.. I'll see you at the game.

Lana: Bye sweetie. Oh... Do you think I'm getting too old?

Josh: Mom, no matter how old you are you are still my mom. But you do something more fun. When's the last time you got pregent?

Lana: With you.

Josh: EXACTLY!! Why don't you and Dad ever want anymore children?

Lana: Well, I wanted to spoil you to death. And besides I you gave him so much pain I don't think I'm up for another one.

Josh: See that's why your getting too old you never take risks.

Lana: Last time I took a risk I ended up with you.

Josh: And I didn't end up so bad did I?

Lana: No, you were the greatest part of my life.

Josh was now smiling brighter than ever. And so was Lana.

Lana: I'd better go. Some of us still have to go on modern technology. Bye sweetie.

Josh: Bye

Josh speeded off towards the school dodging cars and buses. While Lana got into her car and drove to her hospital. Jalana Hospital For All was her own creations. She wanted to help people who weren't very rich. So her hospital would take patients no matter if they have money or not.

When Josh was halfway towards his school he wanted to speed up a little then all of a sudden he was now in Maine. He freaked out not knowing the way home. He dug in his pockets for some money. Good thing his parents had trusted him with his own credit card or he'd be broke. He went into a gas station and bought a map. After studing the map he was able to run back to his school.

'Great! I'm late again. I don't think Principle Anderson is going to be very happy with this.'

Josh tried to sneak into the school through a vent. When a voice yelled at him from the other side of the hallway.

Anderson: Mr. Teague you may be the school's biggest jock. But you are just like any student to me. And Tardiness isn't going to slide without consequences.

Josh: I... I was..

Anderson: Save it. I'm going to call your mother. I'm sure she will want to know what her son is up to.

Josh: Really? Or you just want an excuse to talk to her.

Anderson: I don't know what you mean but I will have to let her punish you for this.

Josh: Oh.. come on Mr. Anderson

Anderson: That's Principle Anderson to you.

Josh: Principle Anderson he said in a minicing voice. I know you had something for her but she has a boyfriend and you didn't have a chance. So you decide to pick on her son.

Anderson was now furious at that comment.

Anderson: Listen you smarta** I could've of been perfect for you mother but she never gave the chance. She went and married your father and had you.

Josh: Oh.. I can tell my mom is really into the 300 pounds, losers who eat fast food everyday, isn't married when he's 40, and can't even live with a dog.

Josh said smilling at Anderson's angst.

Anderson: That's it my office now.

Anderson grabbed Josh by a sleeve. Then Josh just grabbed the principles's hands and squeeze it.

Josh: I would touch me if I were you. My grandfather is the most powerful lawyer in the world. So I don't think you would want to explain to the jury why you were holding me a little to tight for comfort.

Anderson immediatly let go. He marched down to his office with Josh following close behind.

He picked up the phone and asked Josh for Lana's number.

Anderson: What's her cell?

Josh: I don't know?

Anderson: That's find I'll just look it up in your files.

Josh: Fine, it's 767-7712.

Anderson quickly dialed the number and waited for the answer. He calmed down not wanting to greet Lana in this temper.

Lana was finishing up a patient when her cell rang. She quickly got over and reached looked at the number.'Josh what did you do now.'

Lana: Hello?

Anderson twirl with his blonde hair a little as he answered. This made Josh want to throw up.'If that loser thinks he's got a chance with my mom. He's hallucinating.

Anderson: Lana, um.. this is Scott

Lana: Scott..

Anderson: Anderson from Josh's school.

Lana: Oh.... Yeah Mr. Anderson what wrong?

Anderson: Please call me Scott and Josh was late again.

Just as he said that he grabbed a napkin from his turtleneck sweater and wipped his sweat. He must of been sweating so much one napkin didn't even help that much. Josh thought he was going to barf.

Lana: Oh... I'm sorry... Scott but Josh was late because of me.

Anderson: You.. Waht do you mean Lana?

Lana: I need some help at the hospital and he graciously volunteer so I droped him off late. I don't know what I would do without him.

Anderson: Well he was also talking back to me and he threaten to sue me. I'm sorry to tell you this lana but he needs disicpline.

Lana who didn't want to yell at him because she knows he would continue to come after Josh but at that moment she wanted to really give her a piece of her mind.

Lana: I'm sorry Scott I'll have to talk to him about that. I'm sure he didn't mean anything by threatening you. I'm sorry once again.

Anderson: It's fine really but I was wondering if we could.. you know ... get together to.. discuss Josh's behavior? Like for dinner?

Lana couldn't believe this. He still hasn't gotten over that she's not interested in him at all. Nor will she ever be. But she had no choice.

Lana: I'm really busy but I'm coming to Josh's game this tonight we can talk then. Okay?

Anderson: Well.... yeah...
'This could be my only chance to be with Lana. Hot, hot, Lana. You should of been mine. I will win you back.'

Lana: Can I talk to Josh?

Anderson: Yeah, I'm really execited tonight.

He hands Josh the phone who wasn't really happy at all.

Josh: MOM!! How could yougo to dinner with him? You know how much Dad hates him.

Lana: Calm down your not in trouble I told him that you were helping me out at the hospital. What were you doing?

Josh: I'll tell you later not here.

Lana: Okay don't upset him

Josh: Please he can't touch me. You didn't answer my question

Lana: I told him that we can talk during your game cause I'm really busy.

Josh: Good cause I don't want him in our house.

Anderson wasn't paying attention to the conversation he was too busy wiping his sweat.

Josh: It's really important I have to tell Dad.

Lana: Okay we talk about this when you get home. Just go to your normal rountine. bye

Josh: bye

After he hung up Anderson just let him go. He headed to the class. wondering.

'Why doesn't Mom want me to tell Dad about this?'

Here's a quick update since everyone wants to know what's going on with him.

Chapter 1: The Beginning
Part 3:

Backgrounds: Clark has been Superman for almost 13 years. He still doesn't have anyone special in his life. He lives everyday mourning over his lost of Lana and regreting ever breaking up with her. He goes on dates once in a while but nothing serious since he doesn't want to feel the pain again. Part of him doesn't want to hurt anymore cause he knows he'll never be over Lana. And his excuse would always be it's too dangerous for her to know his sercet to get her involved. He and Lex are still friends but not close as before. He has two dogs now Shelby and Spike. There like his only outlet since his mom died.

Lois who worked at the Daily Planet was married to some lawyer guy name Louis Stevens and has 3 kids. All boys Lucas 13, Leo 11, Louis Jr. and 4. They have a happy marriage with some problems dealing with Lois being outmatched and over ruled. Other than that Lois lived a happy and memorible life.

Chloe was too married to some guy named Chase Chlorx. They only have one girl 10 year old named Chelsea. They too have a happy marriage since Chase was the new mayor of Smallville and Chloe as the new Editor of the Daily Planet.

Pete moved Metropolis as the new senator. He married Patty Dinkles and has zero kids. Patty was a weatherwomen on Channel 4. She's African American with some Spanish backgrounds. Pete has a happy marriage too.

Lex took over LuthorCorp after his father's death. He doesn't get married since he was in love with Lana too. He doesn't tell anyone but not a day goes by that he wouldn't look at her photos. He knows almost everything about her. Her marriage to the man who's mom was killed by Lana. Yet he forgives her and still claims he loves her. He grows more and more evil as he plans ways to win her back, ways to get her to Metropolis, ways to get her to leave Jason, and ways to exploit to Jason the truth about Josh.

Almost everyone in all everyone in Clark's life had a successful relationship with their spouse, has joyful children, and is in love execpt for him. He waited for the day when Lana would return but he knows that it wasn't going to happen. He heard about Lana's success, marriage to Jason, and wealth. He was an emplyoee of the Daily Planet. He made great amount of money which he never really spends. He has just a truck nothing fancy and a couple of tuxes for parties.


Clark was patrolling the air in his Superman uniform. When everything seems to be fine he hurries to his small house. As Clark hurried and changed into his tux and put on his glasses for a dinner party at the LuthorCorp plaza for the party with all of his friends and co-workers.

As everyone arrived in their limos and porche Clark was modern and arrived in his Red Ram truck. He hurries inside for the party.

Clark rushed into the party in the where he sees Lois, Chloe, and Lex already settle down and started to talk. Clark walked up to them.

Lex: Clark it's nice to see you finally make it. I was beginning to think you weren't going to show.

Clark: I got hold up in traffic.. Sorry

Lex: Don't be I'm just glad you made it. I thought you weren't going to come.

Clark: Nah... I couldn't miss this..

Lex: Good now let's get to the dance floor... Clark do you have a date?

Clark: No, I'm still solo

Lex: That long... Well I can understand I'm solo too...

Clark: Why....

Lex: I um... just can't find the person.. you know.. not a lot of people are into baldies... these days

Clark started to laugh while Lex walked away outside of the mansion.

Lois: Smallville, it's been 15 years get over it already....

Chloe: We all have to move on... it was your choice in the first place.

Clark Just sat down "I know it's just not a day goes by that I don't regret it.."

Chloe: We miss her too.. she was like a sister to all of us

Lois: I heard she's moved on too...

Clark: I know... but I'm not the only one..

Chloe: Yeah, It's surprising that Lex... is single after all these years.

Clark: I know you don't think it's Lana?

Lois: Please.... No one would date that bald head spoiled brat.

Chloe: Lois...

Lois: What... Oh.. come on everyone's thinking it.... I'm just the only one who not afraid to say so..

Clark: I'm sure it's probably because he just doesn't want to settle down yet.

Chloe and Lois headed to the dance floor with their husbands. While Clark walked outside to Lex' balcony. He just started to float into the skies watching over the city not as Superman but as Clark Kent. He flew high enough so no one could see him. He just sat on a cloud and sigh. He felt so horrible and sadness over filled him.

'Lana, I miss you so much. Everyday, my only wish is for youto return to me..'

'Maybe if it's just once. I'd do anything to see you face again'

He stated to lay his back on the couch. He thought the party and would help him forget but it only made things worst. He had left without eating anything since nothing would stop the way he felt.

Ahh............ I feel like a pile of crap right now.. I just went ice skating with 10 people. We went for like 7 hours and now I can't feel my feet and my butt sores like h*ll thanks to all of the pushing and shoving from my friends....*groans* The only good part was that at least there was some really hot guys.... at the rink. (My boyfriend wasn't there so I was allowed to 'look') He doesn't know so shhh.......

Chapter 2: The Football Game
Part 1


Josh suited up for his football game. It was his big moment to shine. Everyone was rooting for him this was going to be the championship game. The game that would make Jefferson High state champion 5 years in a roll. He had to win this. He could let his parents, his friends, his coach, his team.. down. His father was the quarterback who could of gone pro, his grandfather had 3 championships down. It was in his blood and this was the first championship he was going to take home. He was determined to win.

Josh ran out of the locker rooms. All of his friends were patting him on the back rooting and cheering him. Once he ran out of the field he could see over 5,000 people cheering and yelling. In the front row was his Mom and Dad. Dad, made it I can't believe it! Mom must of really gotten him hard if he's home early. There next to Mom was Mr. Anderson yapping on about something. Mom looked like she didn't care about much of it. Dad was really focused on the game.

Lana: Oh, Look there's Josh!!! Go Honey!!!

Jason: Lana, your embarrassing him. I'm sure he'll do find besides I'm here if anything he'll out do himself to impress his dad.

Lana: Well lets just hope he doesn't go distant.

Jason: What are you talking about?

Lana: Um.. Nothing I just don't want him to go too far that's all.

Jason: Don't worry about it. I'm sure he's going to do great. It's in his genes.

Lana: Really?

Jason: Yeah!!

He reaches in a kiss her a deep passionate kiss. He had one hand on her waist and the other on her neck. She had both hands resting on his shoulders.

Anderson: Eh.. Um. Lana I wanted to discuss Josh's behavior.

They immediatly pulled out of the kiss. As Lana pulls out of the kiss.

Lana: People are looking. Maybe we should do this later.

Jason: Ok, but we'll have to continue it... Tonight!

Lana: I don't know

Jason wraped his hands around her waist and pulls her against his chest.

Jason: Yes, or I won't let you go.

Lana was now struggling to get out of the hug. She started to giggle and finally gave up.

Lana: Ok, we'll continue this but now where are here to support Josh.

Jason: Ok, Go Josh!!

Lana turned around to face Mr. Anderson.

Lana: Mr. Anderson, I know Josh is stubburn but he's a good student.

Anderson: Lana, he threatened me.

Lana: What did he say?

Anderson: That he will sue my if I lay one hand on him.

Jason: Well yeah, he's right if you lay one hand on him I will sue you for every penny your worth.

Lana: Jason!

Jason hated Anderson. The guy who tried to take Lana way from him in college. Then ruined his moment right now.

Anderson: Mr. Teague, I didn't lay one hand on your son. But he threaten me and that's a mistake. Now I want to discusse it with you.

Lana: Mr. Anderson

Anderson: Please call me Scott.

Lana: Scott, is there anything he can do?

Anderson: Well, there's nothing he can really do. But I also noticed that he's got a tardiness problem too. If this continue he can't play sports.

Jason: Excuse Me. But Josh, is the captin of almost every major sport team in this school. He's an A honor roll student with a 4.0 GPA. And right now almost every college is dying for him to play for them. He can get a full schoolarship to any school of his choice. I don't think some tardies are going to get him kicked off of any teams. And he didn't threatened you for no reason. You must of did something to him in order for him to threaten you. And I'm sure you don't want me to find that out because I can get you fired like *snaps his fingers* that.

Anderson: I beg your pardon?

Jason: You heard what I said. I suggest you mind your own bussiness. Or pay the consequnces when you cross the Teagues.

Anderson was now bright red. He mumbled something and got up and left.

Lana: Jason, That was harsh.

Jason: Oh, come on you know you wanted him gone.

Lana: Yeah... but

Jason: Nobody mess with my son or my wife...

Jason comes in and gave Lana a quick kiss as the game started. The Jefferson High Knights got the ball first.

As Josh catches the ball he backed up a little and dogded two charging guys from the other team. He reached back and threw the ball about 40 yards to the wide reciver.

He jumps in the air and catches the ball easily. As he does he gets tackled by the other team.

The crowd was now cheering and yelling at the top of their voices. The Knights were only a couple of feet away from the touchdown.

Annoucer #1: What an amazing pass from the freshmen quarterback Josh Teague!

Annoucer #2: Yes, Josh Teague is one of the most talented atlethes I've ever seen. As the captain of the baseball, basketball, soccer, and football team he has brought this school on the charts. It's only his first year and he's already manage to win every championship this year. This one is going to be his greatest victory.

Annoucer #1: Did you know that Josh Teague is the son of the one the only Jason Teague and the beautiful Lana Teague. I mean no wonder he's so talented.

Annoucer #2: I know what you mean. And now Josh's got the ball, he looks around for the pass and THERE IT IS!!!!!! A twenty yards pass right into the touchdown line.!!!

The fans jump up and cheer and scream. Chants are getting started by the cheerleaders and joined in by the crowds.

Josh! Josh! Josh! Josh! Josh! Josh! *Chants*

Josh! Josh! Josh! Josh! Josh! Josh! *Chants*

Josh! Josh! Josh! Josh! Josh! Josh! *Chants*

The game continue liked that until the one minute of the game left. The Knights 30-35.

Annoucer #1: Oh, my god the moment everyone is waiting for. The Knights are behind 5 points with only one minute left on the clock.

Annoucer #2: Josh Teague is going to have to pull up something close to a mircale if he wants to win this.

Josh! Josh! Josh! Josh! Josh! Josh! *Chants*

Josh: I want Drake in the end-zone.

Drake: What?

Josh: Can you run that fast?

Drake: Hell yeah! You can throw that far?

Josh just nodds his heads.

Josh: Blue 32!! Blue 32

Lana and Jason and the rest of the people in the crowd are on their feet. One game, One championship, and one last play.

Josh: Hut Hut!!

The ball is now in Josh's hands he runs forward a little. Then 4 guys from the other team runs at him about to dog cover him.

He had no choice he could fall down like he usually does. With on push he threw them all in each different direction.

Then he released the ball into the air with massive amount of strength. The ball reaches the end zone as Drake jumps into the air and catches it.

The clock continue the click. As Drake catches the ball and lands flat on his back.

Annoucers: And an amazing catch by the Drake Wilson!! AND THE KNIGHTS WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

The crowd jumps into the air all screaming and jumping with joy. No one noticed that Drake didn't get up. They were all surprised by Josh's strenght but when Drake didn't get up the referees ran to him.

Drake had passed out. After everyone had finished cheering and chanting Josh they finally noticed Drake.

Everyone had a worried look on their face. They faced Josh who bent down next to Drake as the doctors came.

Lana and Jason ran over to him. Lana hugged him and said "It's not your fault."

Jason: Your mother's right Josh. You played an amazing game today. I glad I didn't miss it. I'm so proud of you.

They all reached in for a family hug as the paramedics tell everyone that the catch probably used up to much adrenaline so it's just minor heart attack. He will be okay. But his hands were all burnt like it was on fire. The doctors didn't know how to explain that.

Everyone was assured that Drake was going to be alright. They nobody blamed Josh. They congratulated him on an amazing game.

Everyone headed to the after party as Jason went to get the car around.

But Josh and Lana knew what happened. Lana told Josh to go to the after party.

Lana: We could talk when you get back.

Josh: Ok, Mom I'm sorry I didn't mean too. It's just I wanted to win so badly.

Lana: It's okay, I know. There's something I have to tell you when you get back.

Josh's friends dragged him along. The party was amazing but all he wanted to do was go home. He wasn't in the mood and when someone asked him to told them it was cause he felt bad for Drake which was half true.

Finally, the party was over and his friends dropped him off. He opened the gate and headed into his mansion.

Josh: Mom, I'm home!

There was no number only a yellow sticky note.

Josh,

I'm in the attic. I want you to come here
and hurry. All your questions will be answers.
I'm going to tell you the truth, things I've never
told you about.

Hurry,

Mom

Josh raced upstairs in Superspeed. He opened the door to see his mother sitting on a huge trunk.

Josh: Mom, What's going on?

Chapter 3: The Secret
Part 1

Lana: Josh, come on in. And lock the door behind you.

Josh: Mom, what's going on? Where's Dad?

Lana: I told Dad to go get some stuff... He'll be back soon so we better hurry..

Josh: Hurry?...

Lana: Josh,um.... Dad, isn't your biological father...

Josh: What?!!... NO,.. I know Dad's my father and there's no one else..

Lana: I'm sorry... I should have told you a long time ago... when you first got your powers..

Tears started to roll down Lana's eyes.. Josh immediatly comes to hug her.

Josh: It's not your fault Mom, you were only trying to protect me.. Now.. could you tell me what happened?

He said as he sight down next to her on a couch. She begins to talk in a sad voice.

Lana: About 15-16 years ago I had this relationship with this man name Clark Kent... He and I were deeply in love and when we decided to do I got pregnet. You got to understand I thought
your father was dead. Then he came back... And well Clark broke up with me because he.. well.. he wanted to protect me.. I think. He had all of these secrets that I just wanted to leave and forget about forever. So when your father came back he told me that he loved me. So he took me in without knowing I was pregnet. He thought you were his. So did I until your powers started to come...

Josh: So you think that my biological father had these powers too. So that's how I got them.

Lana: Clark was an amazing man. He was always selfless and saved any one he could no matter how good or bad the were. And cause of your resemblance to him.

Josh: I always thought that my powers came from Dad or cause I was infected until you told me it was a gift.

Lana: I know and it is. It's a gift to see you grow into the man that your going to become. It doesn't matter if you have powers or not. I will always love you.

After this sentence tears started to come down rapidly from both of their eyes.

Josh: I love you too Mom. No matter how old I get. No matter where I go. You will always be my mother.

That moment they shared a long hug before she continues with her story.

Lana: Josh, you can't tell your father. It would crush him.

Josh: But I have to find my biological father. I have to find out about my powers. I have to find my origins.

Lana: I know.. but you can't go now.

Josh: My powers are becoming more and more powerful and I can't control it. I have to find him. I have to know what's going to happen to me. Before I can't control it and hurt you guys.

Lana: No, I will not let you find him. It's too dangerous and I don't even know if he has powers too.

Josh: That's a risk I'm going to have to take. I know you don't want me to hurt Dad but.. It's something I have to do.

Lana: NO, its not!! I won't let you you go. It's too dangerous.

Josh: Then come with me.

Lana: I can't. My place is here and so is yours.

Josh: Is it or is cause you still love him?

Lana: What?!... I.. I.. um..

Josh: Mom, when you told me the story I can see it in your eyes that you still love him. But you were afraid of the risk. Well, I not I want to find him.

Lana: It's been almost 16 years and I don't love him. And that's not why you can't go.

Josh: Then, why not?

Lana: Cause I don't want you to just be the bomb on his door steps. I don't want you to be a burden on him. Like I was for my biological father.

Josh: What? I thought Grandma and Grandpa died in a metetor shower.

Lana: They did but, Grandma had me with someone else.

Josh: And you went to find him didn't you. And it didn't turn out great.

Lana: No, it turned out Ok. Execpt the first time he pushed him out of the door and told me not to come back.

Josh: So, did you?

Lana: Yes, I did. I wrote to him. And talk to him until we got DNA samples that matched. He finally execpted me as his daughter but he was so involved with me that his wife devoiced him. I don't want that to happen again.

Josh: Mom, it won't. I will be careful. I got to go.

Lana: No, I won't let you.

Josh: I'm sorry, but you can't stop me...

With that he superspeed into his room and packed his backpack within seconds. And raced out of the house.

Lana ran after him but it was too late he was gone. Lana sat down at the porch and cried. She was afraid she might lose him. Just then Jason drove in.

Part 2:

Lana sat down on the front porch. She didn't knwo what to tell Jason."Dear, Josh.. he ran away to find his biological father. Did I forget to mention that your not his biological father. Yeah and he's got these powers." she said saracasticlly as Jason parks the car in garage and walks towards her.

Jason: Lana, what's wrong? Where's Josh?

Lana sniffles as she wipes tears from her eyes. Jason sat down on next to her on the couch.

Lana: Jason, there is so many things I haven't told you that I should've a long, long time ago.

Jason: Lana, what is it?

Lana: It has to do with Josh... He um..

Jason: Josh? What about him?

Lana: He.. he ran away..

Jason jumped up from the couch and looked down at Lana waiting an answer.

Jason: What?! Where did he go? Why did he go?

He asked in a panic voice as Lana slowly stands up next to him holding his hands.

Lana: He went to.. find.. his...

Jason: His what? I don't understand. Lana our son just ran away and we've got to go find him.

He said as he ran down the steps. She grabbed his hands and pulled him back.

Lana: We have to let him go. To find his.. destiny.

Jason: Lana his destiny is here.

Lana: No, no it's not. He's got to go find his.. biological father.

Jason: Wha.. Wha.. WHAT?!!!

Lana: Calm down.. please.

Jason: What do you mean. Tell me now.

Lana: I think you better sit down.

She said as she pulls him down to the couch because he was so stunned he had no conscience left.

Lana: Jason,.. Josh's father is Clark.

Jason: WHAT!! CLARK KENT?! NO!! NO!! YOUR LYING!!

Lana: I wish I was. But there's no doubt about it. I'm sorry.

Jason: HOW.. how do you know?

He said as he gulped as tears start to fill in his eyes.

Lana: He started to show powers...

Jason: Wait a minute powers?

Lana: I know it sounds crazy. But it's true. Before we got back together.. Me and Clark we kinda.. you know.

Jason: And you hid this from me for 16 years. 16 YEARS!!

Lana: I didn't want it to hurt you.

Jason: How do you think I feel know? At any point in 16 years you could of sat me down and tell me truth.

Lana: I didn't know until his powers came.

Jason: When was that? Exactly and what was it.

Lana: When he was 4. He got Super strength. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I just didn't want you to look at him different.

Jason: LANA!! HE'S MY SON. AND NO MATTER WHAT KIND OF.. POWERS HE HAS I WILL ALWAYS LOVE HIM. NO MATTER WHAT. YOU SHOULD'VE KNOWN THAT. AND NOW OUR SON IS GONE!!

Lana looked down to the ground. As endless amounts of tears start to flow down her eyes. Jason sat next to her and wiped her tears away. And hugged her tight.

Jason: I'm so sorry honey.. I didn't mean to yell. I'm sorry.

Lana: No, I'm sorry. Can we just go in the house and talk about this there. I can't take it anymore.

Jason: Just tell me one thing. Do you love me?

Chapter 3: The Secret

Lana looked at Jason with widen eyes. Which was returned by Jason's serious look.

Lana: Jason, no matter what happens I will always love you. That won't change. I'm with you and I couldn't be happier.

Jason begins to lightin up and gives her a huge smile. Lana returns his smile and gives him one of her own. They lean in for a kiss. As they continue to kiss passionatly.

Lana breaks the kiss. She then pulls Jason with one hand into the house. They sight down on the couch. Lana leans on Jason's chest as they continue to talk.

Lana: We have to find him. I know where he went. Smallville.

Jason: All we have to do is call the airport and cancel his flight. '

Lana: Josh, isn't flying to he's going to run.

Jason: Wait a minute. Run? Where?.. How?

Lana: Jason,.. Josh started to show.. powers as he grew up. They started weak and grew over time.

Jason: So are you saying he could run to Smallville. So how fast are we talking?

Lana: Faster then a speeding bullet.

Jason's jaw dropped as he looked at Lana. Who gave him a I'm sorry smile.

Jason: Wow, that could of really come in handy. What else?

Lana: Well, his strength came first at 4.

Jason: So what he could lift airplanes?

Lana: Yeah, he could lift almost anything. Break anything....

Jason: And let me guess he is unvulnerable too.

Lana slightly nodds her head. As Jason begins to ask more question.

Jason: Is that all or does he have more?

Lana: He can also take fire with his eyes.

Jason takes in a deep breath and then looks at Lana.

Jason: Man, I wish I knew about my son's ability sooner. Lana you have to know that no matter how many powers he has I will never look at him different. He will always be my son. Now we got to go to Smallville and find him. Before he goes to Clark. Wait a minute does Clark knows?

He asked as he looks deeply in his eyes.

Lana: No, no no one knows execpt for me and now you and Josh.

Jason: Okay, but I think we should tell Clark. He deserves to know.

Lana: Are you sure?

Jason: I don't want to lose my only son. But we can't keep him from his biological father.

Lana: I know honey. But I think I should go to Smallville and bring him back.

Jason: I'm coming with you.

Lana: Jason, I can handle it. Besides no point in both of us taking time off of our both of our companies. I need you to look after my company while I'm gone. Besides, I can handle it.

Jason: Lana, he's my son. I won't let you do this without me.

Lana: Jason, I know but it's better this way. I know you love him. Just let my do it. It's my fault and I want to fix it.

She looks at Jason with puppy dog eyes that he couldn't resist.

Jason: Find but you have to keep me in contact every step. I'll arrange a flight for you to Smallville early in the morning. But what about school?

Lana: Well, Spring break it is Spring break. I don't think we have to worry about that. And if it takes more than a week I'll handle it.

With that Lana lead Jason into their bedroom. As she lays in the bed she was so worried. She didn't know what to do. What to say. All she knew was she had to do it. Jason wasn't sleeping well either. He was really worry about Josh too. Cause everything he said he meant.

Chapter 4: Home Again
Part 1

Josh was completely lost as he ran into the town. He read the billboards with "Welcome to Smallville" but he can't seem to find anyone. Only fields and fields of corn.

Just then he saw a red truck drive towards him. He waved to the driver who was an aged man in his 60's. The man stopped at the sight of the young man.

Josh: Excuse me sir.. but can I get a ride to the town?

Man: Yeah, sure hope on.

With that Josh climbed into the truck as the old man drove him.

Man: So where are you from?

Josh: Um.. New York.

Man: Wow, New York.. so where are you parents?

Josh: They're... back in New York.

Man: So what are you doing here?

Josh: I... I ran away.

Man: Listen Son, you can't just run away. Especially not this far. How long has it been since you left them?

Josh: A couple of hours.

'Wow, this kid looks exactly like Clark. The resemblance is uncanny but there's no way he could be related to Clark.'

Man: So why come here?

Josh: I have a family member here I can't seem to find him.

Man: What's his name?

Just then car stopped in front of the town square. Josh didn't get a chance to answer the man because a elderly women came up to the car.

Lady: Jonathon, who is the young man?

Johnathon: Oh... this young man is from New York. I found him near the corn fields and he need a ride to the town.

Lady: Well, I'm Martha Kent and this is my husband Jonathon.

'Wow, he looks just like Clark when he was a teenager. These old eyes must be playing tricks on me.'

Josh: Nice to meet you Mrs. Kent.

He said as he reaches a hand to shake Martha's hand and then Jonathon's.

Josh: I'm Josh. Josh Teague. And Thank-you for the ride Mr. Kent. I really appreciate but I have to go find my father.

Jonathon and Martha: Father?

Josh: Yeah... I came here to look for my father. Well, biological father.

Jonathon: Well, do you have a place to stay?

Josh shook his head 'no'

Martha: Well, then you have to come and stay with us. Until you found you father.

Josh: No...no.. I can't intrude

Martha: No sense! It would be an honor. We haven't had guest in a long, long time. And our son will be back from Metropolis today so he can keep you company.

Josh: I... I...have to look for my father as soon as possible.

Jonathon: Well, we have lived her our whole lives. And we know a lot of people. Why don't you come stay with us and we could help you look for him.

Josh: Well... Okay..I don't have much time though. My Mom is going to be here soon.

With that Martha got in the truck next to Josh and Jonathon drove them.

Jonathon: Why is that a problem.

Josh: She's going to take me back home. That's why I have to run away to find my father. She won't let me see him.

Martha let out a slight gap. "Why won't she let you see him?"

Josh: She only wants what's best for me and she's just afraid of what might happen if I find him. She's probably on a plane her right now.

Jonathon: Is she from this town?

Josh: Yeah, she grew up here as a kid. Then she moved away.

Martha: Well, everyone deserves to know who there biological parents are. Don't worry we will help you find him.

Josh: Thanks Mrs. Kent.

As the car pulled a to a stop on the farm Jonathon and Martha got out first leaving Josh in the car.

Jonathon: What's wrong?

Josh: I've... I've... never been on a farm. That's all.

He slowly got out of the truck and examine the place.

Martha: Oh.. It's not that bad. Once you get used to it.

Josh: Oh.. No.. I didn't mean it like that.. It's beautiful and peaceful. Compare to the skyscrappers and traffic jams in New York.

The Kents smiled as they led Josh into there house. Josh admired the house very much. It was so original and beautiful.

Jonathon: I'll lead Josh into a room while you start on dinner Okay?

Martha: Yeah. Clark will be home soon.

Josh was already upstairs as Jonathon and Martha share a quick kiss.

Jonathon: Josh, you can stay in this room with our son since he's coming home today. If he wasn't coming home you could have this room to yourself.

Josh: Nah.. It's Okay, I don't mind sharing. I don't have any brothers or sisters so I'm anxious to meet him.

Jonathon: I think you would like him. He's a great guy. Um.. You can unpack and if you need extra cloths or anything. I think we still have some of Clark's old cloths.

Josh: No, I brought enough Thanks.

Jonathon: Well, I'll be down stairs. You can take a shower and meet us there for dinner.

Josh: Yeah, Thanks. Oh... Mr. Kent thank you for doing this for me. You guys are very kind, I owe you my gratitude. Because what you did for me no amount of money could buy. Thank you.

Jonathon just smiled and nodded. He was beginning to really like this boy.

Just then there was a knock on the door. Martha ran towards the door.

Martha: CLARK!!

She opened the door and they quickly hugged.

Clark: Mom, I'm so happy to see you.

Martha: I know the feeling. You came early. I haven't finished dinner yet.

Clark: Oh.. I flew this time.

Martha: You should be careful. Someone could see you.

Clark: Don't worry Mom, no one could see me when I'm above the clouds. I'm going to go to my room and take a shower. Where's Dad?

Jonathon: Right here.

He said as he walked down the stairs and heads towards Clark.

They quickly hugged as Martha watched happily.

Clark: It's good to see you Dad.

Jonathon: It's good to see you to Son. Your early.

Clark: Um.. I flew.

Jonathon: Oh.. Well, just be careful.

Clark: I know, I'm just going to take a shower and unpack.

Jonathon: You'll have to wait. Someone is up there right now.

Clark had a surprised look on his face. "Who?"

Jonathon: A young man from New York. He came here to look for his biological father.

Martha: Your father found him in a corn field. And he's staying with us. I hope you don't mind sharing your room.

Clark: Are you kidding. No! I would love to. It's like having a younger brother. I'm going to go say hi.

With that Clark ran up stairs to his room. He entired the room to see it was empty. Only a red backpack laid on the side of his bed.

He quickly threw his case on the other side and started to unpack. Just after a few minutes a Josh came out of the shower.

Josh: Ahh!!

Clark: Whoa, Whoa, I'm Clark Kent. I live here. Don't worry.

Josh: Oh.. I'm sorry.. I didn't mean too. You just scared me.

'Whoa, that kid looks almost exactly like me when I was his age. Wow, what a conicidence.'

Chapter 4: Home Again
Part 2:

Clark: Yeah, I know.. have we met before? You seem oddly fimilar.

Josh thinks for a minute then replys.

Josh: I don't think so... this is my first time in... Smallville.

Clark: How about Metropolis?

Josh: Yeah... once with my Dad. For a football game. But I was only like 6 years old.

Clark: Oh... It's just you look really fimilar.

Josh: Hem... I don't think we've ever met and I get this weird feeling that I'm forgeting something. Oh.. I'm Josh by the way. Josh Teague.

Clark: Teague? I know that name somewhere... but where? Clark mumbled to himself.

Clark: So what are you doing here? No offense not that your not welcome.

Josh walks over to his backpack to put his worn cloths in and seats on the bed.

Josh: Well... I'm here to find my biological father.

Clark: Father? But... your father took to... Oh...

Josh: I just found out recently from my Mother that my Dad isn't my real father.

He said with a truely sad expression as he takes a deep breath. Clark notices this and walks over to Josh. He places a hand over his shoulders and looks him in the eyes.

Clark: I know we just met.. but I can really relate to what your feeling. When I was about your age my father told me that I was adopted. And That both of my biological parents well... weren't really around here.

Josh: Did you try to find them?

Clark: I did...but I soon found out that they're dead.

Josh: I'm sorry..

Clark: Don't be... the parents I grew up with are awesome.. I wouldn't trade them for any body.

Josh: I know.. they're really kind hearted. Your really lucky.

Clark: So are you. You might not have a biological father but you still have a biological mother.

Josh: Who kept a this huge part of my life a secret!! I mean I love her a lot but how could she do this to me?

Clark: She's probably just trying to protect you. Mothers can be very protective. Trust me.

Josh: Yeah.. but it's just when I found out... I awesome found out other stuff....like out of the ordinary stuff. Do you know who hard it is to take it in at one time?

Clark: Hem.. I think I do... see my parents also told me some pretty... odd stuff too. And when I found out I was so mad.. I ran away.. to find myself..

Josh was really surprised at how much he could relate to Clark. He really liked talking to him too.

Josh: Thats what I'm trying to do now.. I need to find my biological father to find answers about myself. Answers that no one else can give me.

Clark: I understand... but why did you run away? I mean wouldn't your Mom be happy to help find him?

Josh shook his head slowly.

Josh: She didn't want me to find him... She was afraid of the truth.. she's still afraid to tell everyone what happened. I don't even know if she told me Dad yet.

Clark: Are you sure that's what it is?

Josh: That and because she had some bad experiences herself.

Clark: Like what?

Josh: Well, her parents died when she was 3... and around high school she found out that her biological father was alive.. and when she came there she said he pushed her out, compared her to the Nazi, and hated what she did.

'Lana?'

Clark: That sounds really fimilar. So how did it end up to be?

Josh: She said it went well... until his wife divorced him because of her. She just didn't want me to do that to my biological father.

Clark: I don't think she can based it on just one bad experience.

Josh: I know.. and she's really afraid it might hurt my Dad.

Clark: So...why?

Josh: Well.. he doesn't know that I'm not his.. I think she told him when I left but I'm not sure.

Clark: How does he treat you?

Josh: Great! He's an amazing Dad... he supports me, takes me to lots of games, teaches me, and everything.. I love him.. but I want to find my real father because I really need him. Especially around this time. I don't want to lose my Dad but.. I also want to find my real father.

Clark: I know what you mean.

Josh: Even though he works a lot and is gone on bussiness trips for weeks. He always tries to be there for me.. So does my Mom.

Clark: So what does your parents do that's so busy?

Josh: Well, Dad has all of this bussiness, companies, and investments for Teague Enterprises. And Mom owns her own hospital.

Clark: Wow, they're so successful. So What's your Dad's name?

Josh: Jason..

Clark's look went from interested to 100% shocked.

Josh: Jason Teague.. and my mom's name is La..

Clark: Lana?

Josh: Yeah... how do you know?

Clark: Your Lana Lang's son? Lana Lang's?

Josh nodds his head in a questioning look.

Josh: Do you know here?

Clark: Oh... I know her.. so do you know your biological father's name?

Josh: Mom, mention his name but I can't remember.. I was guess I was too shock.

Clark: Oh... so how's your Mom doing?

Josh: I've been doing all the talking.. first you tell me how you know my Mom.

Clark: I.. I..

Before Clark could finish Josh's cell rang loudly as Josh picks it up. He sees Lana's cell and a scared look came on his face.

Clark: What is it?

Josh: It's my Mom..

Clark: Um.. you got to take it.. she's probably worried sick.

Josh: No.. she'll be mad.. you take it..

Josh said throwing Clark his black cell. Clark catches it with a surprised look.

Clark: What I can't take it? You take it!!

Clark throws the cell back to Josh.

Josh: No...

Clark: Yes...

Josh: I can't... Just as the phone rings again.

Josh slowly flips the phone over and answers it.

Josh: Hello?...

Lana take a deep sigh. And begins to talk.

Lana: Josh honey where are you? Are you okay?

Josh presses the speaker button on the phone so he wouldn't have to her his Mom yell in his ear like last time he done something like this.

Josh: I'm find Mom.. and I'm in Smallville to try to find my father.

Lana: I know dear... but you have to come home. I told Dad everything.

Lana's voice echos in Clark's head. 'It hasn't change at all. I'd recongize it anywhere.' Clark has a worried look on his face.

Josh: You did? How'd he take it? He asked in a worried voice.

Lana: Josh.. your father loves you and he said that there's not a thing in this world that could change the way he feels about you.

Josh is silent. He's surprised at the respond yet greatful at the same time.

Lana: Now.. you have to tell me where you are?

Josh: In Smallville.

Lana: Oh.. Dear.. did you find him yet? She asks in a worried voice.

Josh: No.. not yet.

Lana: Well.. then I'm on my way there right now.

This made Clark's heart jump a beat.

Josh: I'm not going home until I find him.

Lana: I'm not coming to bring you home... I made a mistake to try and stop you.. I'm not mad dear.. I would have done the same.

Josh: Really? This came as a big surprise to him.

Lana: Yes, I'm coming to help you. And face my fears. I'm at the Metropolis ariport now.. I'll be in Smallville in about 3 hours.

Josh: Thank-you Mom.

Lana: What hotel are you staying at?

Josh: I'm not at a hotel.

There was a shock in Lana's voice.

Lana: You didn't bring any money? Your not on the streets are you?

Josh: No.. I didn't bring any money but I'm staying with some people. By the way what was my father's name again?

Lana: Who? Where? Let me talk to them.

Josh: Mom, answer my question.

Lana: Not until you answer my.

Clark was especially interested in this part. He really, really, wanted to know.

Josh: The Kent farm with the Mr. and Mrs. Kents and there son Clark Kent. He's sitting right here you can talk to him.

Just as Lana heard this she tought she was going to faint. Josh didn't get an answer as Lana dropped her phone on the ground as she stares blankly into space. With widen eyes like golf balls.

Josh: Mom? Mom? Can you hear me?

There was no response. Josh got really worried as he immediatly re-dialed the number. There was no answer.

Clark: What happened?

Josh: I don't know.. I got to get to Metropolis something could have happened to her.

Clark: Like what?

Josh: I don't know but she's never done that before.

Clark: I'll get the truck.

Josh: There's no time.. I have to.. run..

Clark: Run? Look Josh you'll never get there on time.

Josh: I'll explain later.

He quickly jumped up with that he rushed into superspeed and speeded out of the door.

Leaving Clark in a electricfling look on his face. Like he just saw a ghost.

Clark: Oh God. Was all Clark could say.

Chapter 4: Home Again
Part 3

Clark stood there for a few seconds mesmorized with a blank look on his face as he stared into space.

He was still trying to soak it all in. 'I have a son. A son!! Why didn't she tell me this before! Why didn't she let me be his father! Why is she still trying to prevent him from seeing me!!'

Clark knew there was only one way to find out. He had to follow after Josh.

Within the next few seconds he raced out of the house and right after Josh. He was still surprised at how fast Josh was.

Josh was racing faster then any bullet. He was nervous to see his mother again but he couldn't leave her when she needed him the most.

Once Josh reached Metropolis airports he tried to find him. She was crowded by a few paramedics waking her up. She had fainted.

Just as Josh stopped outside the crowd to run up next to her he saw Clark stop right next to him.

Josh swallowed hard and stared at Clark who had the 'I'm sorry' look on his face as he nervously walked over to the paramedics who was caring Lana up.

Josh quickly snapped out of it and followed after him. He didn't know what to say.

Paramedic #1: Are you okay Miss?

Lana just realized that she had fainted and quickly got up. She rubbed her head with one of her hands.

Lana: Yeah... I'm fine. I just hurt my head a little that's all.

Paramedic #2: Miss, you just fainted. We should get you to the hospital.

Lana: No.. I'm fine.. just a little.. rush. You know.. but I'm going to be fine. I just need to fine my son.

Paramedic: #1: Where is he? We can help you.. Is he in the airport?

Lana: No.. No.. he's

Josh: Mom!!

Lana quickly turned around to she her Josh. She quickly towards him and hugged him fiercly.

Lana: Josh...

Josh: Are you Ok?

Lana: I am now..

Clark quickly came into sight as he stand behine Lana without her noticing it.

Lana: Does anyone know you used your... gift to get here?

Josh: One.

Lana: Who?

Josh pointed his finger to the shadow that stood behind her. As she slowly turned around to embrace Clark.

She didn't know what to say. She just stood there baffled at what to say because her brain was like frozen and she just couldn't think.

Clark stared at her in disbeif. He can't believe who beautiful she still looks after all of these years.

He just couldn't say anything. As they stare into each other's eyes like the world around them just stopped spinning for this on minute.

Lana couldn't beleive Clark was still the same strong, handsome man she once knew. The only thing was he probably got even more muscluar.

Josh noticed the stare between his mother and his soon to be father. He knew they had a lot to talk about. As tears start to fall from his eyes. Because it's the first time in his life he when can finally see mother and father together as his parents. The first time when he can finally see what kind of man he's going to become.

Lana couldn't help look into Clark's eyes as tears fell from her own. It's been so long since she can look into his beautiful blue eyes and be dazed by his deepness and passions. The tears do not fall from sadness but from happiness and execitment.

Clark noticed that Lana was tearing up and so was Josh. He too felt the moment as one of the most special moments in his life. The moments that he wished for but never got until now. It was like an angel watching from far made his wishes come true and knew what his deepest desires were. For the first time in many years in finally felt blessed. As the thoughts ran through his head a single drop of tears fell from his eyes.

Clark: Hi.

Lana: Hi.

Paramedic #2: Sooo... now that you've found your son. And... brother.. hubby I assume your going to be alright?

She said coming between Clark and Lana ruining the beautiful moment.

Lana quickly snapped out of her trace fast enough to answer her.

Lana: Oh.. Yeah, I'm going to be great. Really, great!

She said looking at Clark. Who was still staring at her.

Paramedic #2: Well, then your car rental is here. Mrs. Teague.

Clark flinched at the name Mrs. Teague as he immediatly stared away.

Lana: Right.. Um.. I'm coming right away.

Josh: Mom, we can get you home faster.

He said looking at Clark who was now starring in mid air.

Lana: No, and risk your secret. You risked a lot coming here already. Both of you.

Clark: I.. I..

Lana: We shall talk in later. Now let's just go.

As she pulled her luggaged to the car and poped the trunk to put it in.

The car was a black Jeep Wrangler. She didn't want to look like an outcast from richville so she decided to go simpler.

As Clark opened the door to the backseat Josh pushed up to the passenger seat. As Lana settled in the drivers seat and started the engine.

The drive home was really, really, silent. As none of them spoke a word the whole way. Clark felt to nervous to talk. Lana didn't want to bring up anything until she finds outwhat's going on. And Josh didn't want to make things umcomfortable for his mother and father.

As Lana pulled into the Kent's driveway around 11:00 pm.

I don't know...it's just me. But if I were Clark I'd be so angry with Lana I wouldn't be able to speak. In my book she commited a horrible crime on Clark....the only reason josh is there to find his "FATHER" is because his powers showed up. Not because Lana wanted Clark the man to know....but, because she needed Clark the super hero to help her son...not his son.

Maybe I'm being overly critical of Lana....but it was a great chapter. nice job.

Chapter 5: Lana's Confession
Part 1

As Lana, Clark, and Josh got and slammed the door behind them. Mr. and Mrs. Kents were wide awake and waiting for the return of their son.


********Mr. and Mrs. Kent's Bedroom************

Mr. Kent: That must be Clark and Josh.

Mrs. Kent: Where do you think they went?

Mr. Kent: I have no idea but.. they better have a good reason to miss dinner. And Clark knows how important it was for you now that he's finally home.

Mrs. Kent: It's strange... They must of walked somewhere gotten lost because the trucks are all here.

Mr. Kent: Yeah.. but I swear I heard a car door being closed.

Mrs. Kent: I know lets go check it out.

As they quickly ran out of their bedrooms and to the door.


****************Outside the Door**********

Clark: Um.. listen I think we um.. should tell my parents.

Lana: Yeah... I didn't come all this way to lie to them.

Josh: I think if you show up and tell them your my mother they probably already knows.

Lana: Hmmph... well then.. lets get the guilt moments over with.

Clark: Scoffed... yeah..

Just before Clark could ring the door bell. The swings open and Mr. and Mrs. Kent is standing at the door. Mr. Kent has his arms folded and Mrs. Kent with a serious look on his face.

Clark was nervous and didn't know what to say. Josh didn't know what to tell them. So he decided to just be quiet. The Kent's didn't see Lana yet because she was standing behind a step.

Mr. Kent: Where have you been son?

Clark: Mom, Dad I can explain.

Mrs. Kent: You had better. You left without a slightest idea where you were? No note.. no phone call... no nothing!!

Clark: I had to help Josh... find..

Mr. Kent: His Father? Huh.. I thought we agree were gonna discuss this after dinner Josh?

Josh: Mr. Kent.. um.. It's not like that.. I found my father..

Mrs. Kent breaks down here serious look and a happy look once she sees how happy Josh is.

Mrs. Kent: Who is dear? Who...

Clark/Josh: Um..

Just then Lana walks up the stairs and near the doorway. As the Kents are caught off guard.

Mr. Kent's jaw drops as Mrs. Kent's eyes widen as large as two golf balls.

Lana: Hi.. Mr. and Mrs. Kent.

Mrs. Kent: Lana!!

She said pushing Clark and Josh out of the doorway and coming to give Lana a tight and loving hug. As the two of them share a special moment together.

Mrs. Kent takes a deep breath before letting her go.

Mrs. Kent: Your back... I'm so happy to see you..

Mr. Kent: Lana.. It's good to see you.

Mr. Kent said before coming to give her a quick hug.

Mrs. Kent: Come.. Come on in. You shouldn't be standing outside this late.

As Clark, Lana, and Josh follow Mr. and Mrs. Kent into the living room.

Josh gave Lana a look which was returned with Lana shifting her shoulders.

Lana: Mr. and Mrs. Kent it is soo good to see you.

Mrs. Kent: After all this time... we're happy to have you back.

Mr. Kent: Oh.... right so you went to find Lana?

Clark: Not exactly... see um.. you might want to sit down.

Mr. and Mrs. Kent were standing over the couch about to sit down but they decided not to just yet.

Mr. Kent: We're fine son.. just tell us where you went!!

Clark: Josh and I went to find Lana.

Mrs. Kent: Oh.. right sorry.. Lana this is Josh he's a vistor from far away.

Lana: Umm.. I know... ah..

Mrs. Kent: Really.. how?

Lana: He's.. um.. my son.

At that moment Mrs. Kent fell back on the couch as Mr. Kent stood frozen without any knowlegde of what just happened. He was so shock he just stood there until Clark rushed over to help Martha up.

Clark: Mom!! Wake up! Wake up!!

He said shaking her just a teensy bit. As she regains conscious.

Mr. Kent: Wh.. Wh.. Wh..Whoa.. huh..huh.. He's.. He's.. your.. your.. son?

Lana just bit her lips and slowly nodded in agreedment.

Clark: Mom.. are you alright?

Mrs. Kent: If you call shocked to death alright then yes..

Lana: Mrs. Kent.. Um.. I'm sorry.. I didn't know..

Mrs. Kent: It's alright dear..

Mr. Kent: Then if your his mother.. and he came her to look for his biological father... then..

Clark: Yes.. he's my son.

Mrs. Kent: OOhhh.. I.. I.. have a grandson.. a grandson!!

She said running over and hugging Josh who fiecely. Josh returned her hug in the same way.

Mr. Kent: Are you sure? I mean..

Clark: Dad.. I'm 100% sure.. he..he.. has powers..

Mr. Kent: Powers? Like yours?

Clark: Yes..

Mr. Kent slowly sitting on the couch before Clark can say anymore. He didn't want to faint like his wife or stand in shock again. Because he knows that by the way this is going it's not going to be predictable at ALL..!!

Mr. Kent: When did you find out?

Clark: When.. he told me that Lana was his mother and when he superspeeded out of the room after her... I..

He said avoiding eye contact with Lana who was starring at Clark like he was a monster cookie from Dairy Queen.

Lana: I'm.. I'm sorry.. I didn't tell you before... All of you..

Mrs. Kent: OH.. Lana.. I.. I know it must have been hard for you.. you... know..

Lana: Thanks.. Mrs. Kent.. honestly.. I didn't know.. Josh was Clark's son until he was 4.. um.. his powers came.

Mr. Kent: How did you know.. Clark had powers.

Lana: It was the only reasonable explaination.. and he looked soo much like Clark.. I.. I guess

Mr. Kent: It's Okay.. we understand.. what a ... challenged it was to raise a child who you can't always give the right answers to.

Lana: I'm so sorry..

She said looking at both of the Kents then to Clark.

Josh: So.. Clark's my biological father.. no mistakes?

He asked tears beginning to fall. As he runs over to hug him.

Lana is beginning to tear up as she finally sees her son with his real father.

Lana: Yes.

Seeing this beautiful sight caused the Kents to tear up too. As they come over to Clark and Josh and hugs them too. One big hug. As Lana watches from the outside.

The four of them enjoyed the very, very, very special moment that they all thought they would never ever in a million years get not one chance to enjoy. All all felt wonderful and magnificent as if the world had just stopped. For the Kents there was no better moments. But as for Clark and Josh they wished for one moment that would beat this one by a mile.

Chapter 5: Lana's Confession
Part 2

Lana watched them hug each other as a smile formed on her face. She didn't want it to be like this. She wanted for Clark to know about his son but.. she was just afraid. She didn't want to keep it a sercet from everyone. She knew that she'll have to tell them eventually but she just didn't want to tell them at one time. She didn't want to ruin Clark's life because of something she done a long, long time ago. It could ruin Clark's marriage.. if he's married. Then a question poped into Lana's head. Is Clark marrried? He still can't be single after all these years. With a body like that. How am I going to tell Chloe, the Kents, Clark, Josh, and Clark's wife.. if he has one.

Josh: Mom, Come on.

Josh said waving for his mother to come to the group.

Lana: No.. It's Okay, this is a special family moment.

Josh: Your my mother. Your part of this family.

Lana looked at Clark who looked sad that Lana didn't joined them. And taken by Lana's last comment about not being in the family.

Clark: Lana,... huh.. no matter what you will always be a part of this family.

Mrs. Kent: Oh.. Lana this is your family moment too.

Mr. Kent: Lana, this family couldn't be brought together without you.

Lana: Thank-you but I..I think this is a special moment for you guys and I've had mine.. I just lost it. But I'll fine a way to get it back.

Lana said trying to hold back the tears as everyone looked disappointed be her answer.

Once everyone one settled down the conversation started again. Only this time Mr. and Mrs. Kent sat on the couch with Josh in the middle. While Clark and Lana pulled up a chair sitting by the couch to continue to talk.

Mr. Kent: Lana, why did you go and not tell us about Josh. We would never be mad.. in fact we are so so grateful for a grandson.

Lana: I'm sorry Mr. and Mrs. Kent.. but it wasn't because of that. I I didn't know that Josh was well.. Clark's son until his powers came and I lost contact. So.. I tried to raise him to the best of my abilities until the problems came.

Clark: Problems?

Josh: Uh.. Yeah.. Clark... or should I call you Dad?

Josh ask shifting his shoulders looking at Clark who was about to answer the question before he got rudly interupted by Lana.

Lana: Mr. Kent would do.

Clark got a little upset as he wanted to be a father to Josh and Lana's not going to make it easy.

Clark: Actually I perfer Dad.

Clark said smiling at Josh who was kinda mad at Lana who gave Clark the eyes then back to Josh.

Josh: Dad, then.

He said looking at Clark and avoiding his mother. Who looked stunned at the fact that Josh just disobeyed her.

Mrs. Kent: Um.. so who are you with now?

Mrs. Kent ask trying to break the unfortable silent between Clark and Lana.

Lana: Uh.. Hmmm... Jason.

Lana said looking down because she knew what Jason did to Mr. and Mrs. Kent.

Mr. Kent: Jason Teague?

Lana: Uh.. yeah.. Mr. and Mrs. Kent I know what Jason did to you guys but he promised me that's he's change. And I believe him because ever since we got back together. He totally eliminated the stones, mysteries, and his mother from his life. He's been devoting his life to his family.

Mrs. Kent: We're happy for you Lana and it was 16 years ago so no harm done.

Mr. Kent: Yes, let bye gones be bye gones.

Lana: Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Kent. I assure you he's a changed man.

Clark: So when did you guys got back together?

Lana: Um.. mmh.. when he returned.

Clark: I thought he was dead?

Lana: No.. hmm.. he was able to survive. And he was in critical surgery for months. He had no idea who he was until they found a way to restore his memories.

Clark: So he's the one that convinced you to go to New York?

Lana: Yes, he did.

Mrs. Kent: So what are you doing now Lana?

Lana: Oh.. Um. I'm a doctor I work with kids, and some surgeries.

Mrs.Kent: haha.. I never thought that the girl who was afraid of blood become a doctor. Congratulations. And what does Jason do?

Lana: Oh.. Jason has his own bussiness things and he travels around the world. With his firm.

Mr. Kent: So now that your a very busy women... do you let Josh play any sports?

Lana: Oh.. I didn't want him to play any sports at first but Jason would have it. He said that his son had to be a great football player like he once was..

Mr. Kent: Does he know about Josh's powers?

Lana: OH.. now he does.. I just told him.. but when he wanted Josh to play he didn't know that Josh had powers or that Josh wasn't his son.

Mr. Kent: How did he take the news?

Lana: Good, he still won't treat Josh any different. He still wants to be his father though.

Mrs. Kent: So Jason knows about Clark?

Lana: Actually, I wasn't completely sure Clark has powers... because he never did tell me... so I didn't tell Jason.. I think he assume so.

Lana said looking at Clark who looked away at his parents.

Mrs. Kent: So Lana what exactly are you doing here?

Lana: I don't want to intrude or anything. But I need Clark's help.

Mr. Kent: What's wrong?

Lana: It's just Josh has all these powers and I've been teaching him who to control it.. but now it's getting much more welll.. powerful. And he can't control it.

Clark: I think I can at least do that.

Lana: Good.

Mrs. Kent: Will you let us be Josh's grandparents?

Lana: Mrs. Kent of course. Josh never had a grandmother. I only wish you would execpt him.

Mrs. Kent: And I never a grandson. I would love to take care of him while he stays to learn with Clark. Are you going to stay?

Lana: Yeah, until Josh learns how to control his powers. Um then I'll go.

Mr. Kent: Lana, Why did Josh have to run away? I mean why didn't you take him here in free will?

Lana was silent for a moment. She just looked at Mr. kent as she answered slowly.

Lana: Hmmm... I wasn't sure how you guys would take it.. after all these years. And I didn't want to ruin Clark's life.. I mean how are you going to explain this to your wife Clark?

Clark: If I have one.... Lana, I don't have a wife or a girlfriend right now.

Lana's face starts to show execitment that she kept hidden from everyone.

Lana: OH.. I'm sorry.. I just thought that 16 years.. you were probably married or something..

Clark: I guess I still can't move on..

Mr. Kent: Um.. Martha how about you and I go up to give them some space to discuss matters.

Mrs. Kent: Yeah.. and Josh I think you should head to bed too. We'll talk in the morning.

Lana: Oh.. Thank-you Mrs. Kent but I after tonight I think I'm going to rent a suite.

Mrs. Kent: No sense..you will stay here.

Lana: I don't want to intrude. And I'm sure Clark doesn't want to sleep on the couch.

Mrs. Kent: Well, Jonathon already set up a twin bed for Josh.. why don't you take Clark's bed.

Clark: Fine. I'll sleep on the couch.

Lana: Thank you Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Kent for letting me stay here. I'm glad finally see you again.

As Mr. and Mrs. Kent take Josh up stairs Lana and Clark were all alone.

Clark: So what sports does Josh play?

Lana: Football, Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, He great at all of them.

Clark: Well, that's my boy..

Lana: Yeah..

Clark: You know Lana after all these years... I keep thinking... you could of at least once just call me for what 5 minutes or anything just to say "Clark, you have son." I mean is that too much to ask?

Clark said raising his voice above a medium amost yelling.

Lana: Yes,

Clark: Why? HUH? Why.. Why can't you let me by his father. You know what you told my parents and Josh is a bunch Bulls**t.
I don't know why you didn't let him come see me but I know that's not the real reason why.

Lana: Yes it it is. I don't want him to just come into your life. I don't even know if you were even going to execpt him... I didn't know if your parents would forgive me.

Lana said raising her own voice.

Clark: That's only part of it... I know you Lana.

Lana: Wrong Clark, you knew me.

Chapter 6: Sleeping Next To You
Part 1:


Lana left Clark standing next to the couch as she stomps out of door going to her car to crab her suitcases. She only had a few suitcases cause she didn't know she wouldn't be here for a long time.

As Lana tries to lift her suticases into the house. She has already had rollers on two of them and one on her back. Each one weighing at least 50 pounds.

Lana drags in slowly pacing herself. Not wanting for Clark to see her struggling. She almost made it to the door when she tripped on one of the steps.

Clark was just sitting on the couch extremely pissed. As he takes long and loud breaths. He's saw that Lana had just tripped. No matter who mad he was at her he had to save her. He rolls his head in a full 360 before doing so. He Superspeeded towards the door and opens his hands to break Lana's fall.

Clark: Um...

Lana: Aa...

Clark is facing Lana with her in his arms. She had dropped all of her suitcases. As the world freezes for a second they stared into each other's eyes.

Lana: Thanks...

Clark: It's nothing....

Clark said helping her up as he turns away and started to pick up her suitcases as Lana still stands in shock.

Clark: You know you should be careful!! Here let get these.

Clark said caring the suitcases halfway up the stairs as Lana is still standing in shock.

'He could have let me fall. Yet he still saves me. Same old selfless Clark... I can't after all this time... I'm actually still have feelings for him. That jerk!! Why can't I get you out of my life once and for all. '

'I couldn't let her fall....no matter who mad I am at her. I still love her. Even if she doesn't know it.....I don't have a girlfriend cause I'm freaking waiting for her after all this time.'

Lana: What... you don't think I can do it by myself? HUH?

Clark: Yes... you barely made it to the door.... I don't want to save you again... and this time it's stairs.

Lana: I'll have you know.... I'm can too carry it up the stairs just as well as you can.

Lana said following up the stairs. She was only three stairs away from him and the suitcases.

Clark: Then why don't you carry it then...

Clark said turning around giving Lana back all three of her suitcases.

Lana: huh... aw...sshh... you know what... maybe next time... besides your already halfway..

Lana said giving Clark back the suitcases and patting him on the back. Clark's mouth dropps all the way. As she slides though room between Clark and the wall and runs up the stairs before Clark changes his mind.

They make their way to Clark's room in silent not wanting to wake up Josh or the Kents.

Clark creaks open the door carefully to find Josh asleep in a small twin bed by the wall a few inches away from Clark's queen bed.

Lana: I'm going to take a shower. If that's okay with you?

Clark sighs as he sits on his bed while Lana gets out her stuff. While Lana is inside taking a shower Clark runs to the closet and takes out a picture of Lana. The picture of her he kept after all these years.

Clark: The day you left I could feel losing a part of me.... why... why did you leave me? After all we could have.. together. I could have been a great..wonderful husband if you let me.. just one chance... on change...

As Clark puts back the photograph and walks out of the closet he hears Lana coming out. She was wearing her polka dotted pajamas. As Clark superspeeded into the shower. After only 2 minutes Clark runs out in a blue sweat pants and a tight blue shirts.

Lana: That was fast...

She said crawling on the bed. As Clark looks in a surprised face.

Clark: What are you doing???

Lana: What does it look like? I'm going to bed.

Clark: No... no... that's mine bed... and I'm sleeping in it tonight..

He said rubbing his neck. As Lana stares at him in disbelief.

Lana: Well... then... you can take the floors...besides my back isn't made of steal like yours. My buns will ache.

Lana said pointing to the floor. Giving him a sad look.

Clark: HUh..no that's not going to work. I need a good night sleep... cause I haven't have one in a while...

He said dropping himself on the bed next to her. He looks at her raising his eyebrowns.

Clark: What? This is my bed too...

Lana: Ahhhh!! Fine sleep here!!

She said turning to her right. As he turns to his left trying to sleep.

Clark twirled around and around.. really late and Josh was snoring next to them..

Clark didn't have a lot of blankets left so he pulled it towards him a little bit.

Just as he does so Lana pulls it right back..He sighs and turns over. Trying to take another pillow from her.

She automatically slaps his hands.

Lana: Back off!!

Clark: It's my turn!!

Lana: Women's first.

Clark: You already had it first.

Lana: So... I can't sleep without holding anybody...

Clark: Hmmph... then hold me... and I can hold the pillow...

Clark said smiling a devious smile. While Lana turns around to face him.

Lana smiled at him too.. only it was evil.

Lana: No.

Clark: Fine... then I get to hold you... and you can hold the pillow.. it's your choice.

Lana: Why?

Clark: Cause I can't sleep without holding anybody too... or anything..

Lana: Here take your pillow!!

Lana throws over the pillow hitting Clark's head.

Clark: Ochh!!

Lana: It can't hurt!!

Clark: Still...

Clark takes the pillow and turns around to sleep comfortablly. It wasn't what he was aiming for.

Chapter 6: Sleeping Next To You
Part 2:

Lana couldn't sleep on bit she just laid there turning and turning around.

Clark on the other hand slept like a baby. He had on hand under his pillow and his legs on the other pillow. He also snored a bit under his breath.

Lana couldn't help it. She reached over and tried to pull the pillow from under his legs but it wouldn't budge.

She gaped and pulled harder and harder. It was like his legs were over 500 pounds.

'I can't believe I'm sleeping in the same bed with the guy who's not my husband!! What's Jason going to say when I tell him... this isn't right... I can't do this can I?? But Clark isn't going to pull anything.. I know him and Jason will understand if you don't tell him... yup don't tell him.. and the next thing tomorrow go rent a hotel. How can someone have such a tight grip on a freakin pillow!! It's like his legs are as heavy as steel.'

Lana: Damn It!!

She said tugging as the pillow slid out as she pulled harder and harder. After 15 long minutes of tough tugging she finally got it out.

Clark moan a bit under his breath as he moves around a bit to adjust.

Lana: He is made of steel.

She said taking the pillow and hugging it to help her sleep. As she too drifted to sleep.

Lana woke up the next morning to the door closing behind here. She just realized it was Josh because as she gazed at his bed it was empty.

Lana suddenly realized that there was an large leg on her legs and a heavy arm on her waist.

She turned around to see Clark sleeping soundly next to her and on her. His hands and legs were hung on her.

But surprisingly she liked it. She like it a lot actually. For the first time she felt safe under his arms.

'Wow, his touch is as gental as ever. And he's still so cute when he's sleeping. I..I can't be thinking this... I have a husband.. a kid.. and I have to forget about Clark'

She turned around to look into his eyes. They were closed and his face was soft like a teddy bear waiting to be hugged.

'I love you.. very.. very.. much.. but I can't do this..'

She said waking Clark up.

Lana: Clark.. Clark.. wake up!! Wake up!!

She said shaking him slightly. As he groans and turns around.

Clark: God.. 5 more minutes!!

Lana: No.. come on wake up!!

Clark: Lana??!

Clark said sitting up. Seeing Josh's bed empty and Lana right next to him. The space between them is now completely filled.

Lana: Come.. on I think everyone is already up... it's 10:30

She said looking at the digital clock next to the bed.

Clark: Oh My God.. I can't believe I slept that late..

Lana: Me Neither.. come let's go.

She said getting out of bed and going to take a shower and changing into a pair of faded jeans and a white shirt.

While Clark changed into a pair of dark jeans a red t-shirt as quickly as he can before rushing down stairs.

It makes sense that they still love each after all those years. The feelings where always there, but since they where not together Lana could have thought she no longer loved him. Especially since she was with Jason, and they where happy together. Same with his feelings, except he knew he stilled loved her, 'cause he hadn't moved on. Lana thought she had moved on, but seeing him again, brought back all her feelings she had suppressed. Hopefully they can forget pride, and stop being stuborn, and get together.

Chapter 7: Welcome Back
Part 1:


Once downstairs Clark could see his parents and Josh having breakfast. They were laughing and having so much fun.

Mr. Kent: Clark! Good you awake. Breakfast is ready!! Come Son!

Clark came over to have a seat next Josh to was eating a couple of pancakes.

Clark: So Josh tell me what you can do?

Josh: Well.. what do you mean, Dad?

He asked turing around to face Clark who was getting a few pancakes for himself. He was really enjoying be called dad. For almost 16 years he's been miserable and then bam!! Just like magic he's suddenly a father and he would given this up for anything.

Clark: You know.. superstrenght, superpeed, industructable, shooting fire with your eyes, X-ray vision, superhering, cold beath, flying?

Josh: I get Superhering, cold breath, and fly?

Clark: Yeah... I think.. I mean your only half kryptonian. So I don't know.

Josh: Amazing.. can you do all of that?

Clark: Well yeah... but not at first..

Josh: Yeah.. at first there a pain in butt but I wouldn't trade them for anything.

Clark: That's the spirite... so how about I take you shopping for some stuff to practice with.. your mother tells me your having problem controlling them?

Josh: Ahuh.. it's like they go overboard a lot..

Clark: Well..it happens because you didn't have the proper teachings.

Clark said because he heard Lana stepping down the around the corner.

Josh: I guess... so when do we start?

Clark: Today.. I'm off for two weeks. So Josh what sports do you play?

Josh: All of them.. Soccer, basketball, baseball, football, track, and the swim team.

Clark: I'm surprised your mother let you played so many sports without worry about your abilities and if you could hurt someone while your playing.

Josh: It's not Mom's idea it was Dads. My dad wanted me to be just as atletletic as he was. And I was able to conviced Mom that it could help me with controlling my abilitlies.

Mr. Kent: Do you actually use your powers on the field or whenever your playing?

Josh: No.. of course not.. that would be cheating and I wouldn't don that.

Clark: [chuckles]

Lana: And I wouldn't have let him anyways..

Josh: She would have pulled me out of all the teams if I did.. I had to promise her I wouldn't.

Clark: That's good... come on we've got a big day ahead of us. Eat up.. Son.

Clark loved saying Son. He never knew who enjoying it was until now.. it was just as much enjoying as being called dad. He slide the rest of the pancakes over to Josh to eat. Because he wanted Josh to have as much strenght because practicing with him would take a lot of him.

While Lana sat down eating some whole brand cereal of Mrs. Kents.

Chapter 6: Welcome Back
Part 2:

After their silent breakfast Clark took Josh shopping for some tools for his training since Clark had nothing else to do. While Lana went around town to see what's change and some sight seeings.

Clark couldn't introduce Josh as his son because of what the people will ask him. Like who the Mother is? Where has he been? Did you know? So when people asked he said it was his friend's and that Josh was here visiting him.

Meanwhile Lana took to the Talon. When she arrived she was shocked. For Almost 16 years it was still in great conditions. Most of the things stayed the same execpt it now served as a resturant too.

She came to the front counter to order. A beautiful young girl about 15 years turned around to take her order. She just looked at Lana for a few seconds.

Girl: Hi, your new here right?

Lana: Yeah.. sort of. I used to live here but I moved.

Girl: Really? I don't remember you.. and I've lived here my whole life. I'm Alexis. Alexis Cahill.

Lana: Hi, Alexis.. I'm Lana Lang. And I moved away about 16 years ago so you might not even known me.

Lana said smiling to her because of how much Alexis reminds her of herself.

Alexis: Oh, Are you Lana Lang as the women who saved the Talon from becoming a sidewalk almost 20 years ago?

Lana: Yeah... How'd you know?

Alexis pointed to the picture of Lana much younger when she was about 16 years old. Underneath it wrote:

Lana Lang,
Is the amazing girl who turned this old theater and a flower shop to a place where you can spend your Saturdays with your friends, hang-out, chat, meet someone. She saw promised in a place when no one else could.

Lana stared at the picture and the words in disbief. Who would so something like this for her.

Lana: Who Dedicated it to me?

Alexis: The owner, Lex Luthor. It's been up there since 2006. You must have had a huge impact on him. Because he's never done anything like that for anyone. Honestly, you must have been someone special because Mr. Luthor always talks about you.

Lana was about to laugh. Lex talking about her? And dedicating something like this to her. He's changed a lot.

Lana: He does?

Lex: Of course I do.

Hearing the voice behind her almost made her jump. She turned around slowly.

Lana: Lex?

Lex: In the flesh.

He said opening both of his arms to hug her. She hugged him too. As they shared a friendly moment.

Lana: What are you doing here?

Lex: I could ask you the same thing.

Lana: I'm here for my son.

Lex: Son?

Lex said pretending to be a bit surprised.

Lana: Yeah.. Josh.

Lex: So where is he?

Lana: With Clark..

Lex: Oh, I was hoping I could see him. It's so good to see you again. It's been almost 16 years... but who's counting?

Lex said laughing and checking her out.

Lana: What about you? I heard your a really big bussiness man and all.

Lex: Actually I came here to do some bussiness. And I guess what luck I just happens to bump into Lana Lang.

Lex said smiling which Lana returned happily.

Lex: So how long are you staying?

Lana: For about a week just so that Clark could help my son with somethings.

Lex: Oh, you came here to see Clark?

Lex said with a bit of flatly.

Lana: No.. not really. It's a long story but... I came here because I need Clark's help.

Lex: Anything I can do?

Lana: No.. It's just somehting Josh needs his father to help him with. Nothing we can do.. you know.

Lex: Clark is the father?

Lana: Yeah...

Lex: Well, that's a surprise. So where are you staying?

Lana: At a hotel for now..

Lex: Nonsense, you can come stay with me..

Lana: I apprciate the gesture but I think its' best I just stay in the hotel.

Lex: Is.. Josh staying with the Kents?

Lana: Yeah.. I think so. I can't pull him away from his father. You just when they met. I want them to spend some quality time together.

Alexis: I hate to interupt but.. Lana what can I get you?

Lana: I'm sorry dear... but a double cappichino would be fine.

Alexis: And what about you Mr. Luthor?

Lex: My usual.

Alexis: Okay.. I'll be right back.

She took of into make the orders and take some more.

Lana: I can't believe you dedicated something like this to me.

Lana said looking at the plate.

Lex: You deseved it. I mean this place wouldn't be anything like this if it wasn't for you.

Lana: Thanks.

Lex: Your very welcome.

Chapter 6: Welcome Back
Part 3


Lana and Lex continued there conversation for a real long time. Talking about how there lives were like. The people in them. How bussiness was going. But Lana was shocked when Lex said that he wasn't married.

'Playboy Lex Luthor Not married?? Not even a girlfriend in 16 years!! Did he become a Monk in secret? Well... it would make sense... he's got to bald head and everything.... '

After having the quick and jugding thought she couldn't help but let out a little laugh. Which Lex noticed but didn't question because he thought it was what he said.

'I wonder why Lex doesn't have a women in his life though.... Clark I understand... because he still has feeling for me.. maybe. But Lex... could it be that he has feeling for me.. the plate.. always protecting me.. NAH!! Yuck!! Just the though of that makes me sick... it must because he's hasn't found anyone.'

Lana: I have to go... I still have to look for a hotel.

She said forcing a small smile.

Lex: Why? Lana.. you know you are always welcome in my home.

Lana: I know Lex.. but if I don't stay with the Kents I don't want them to see that I went to stay with someone else.

Lex: Oh.. so how's thing with Jason?

Lana: Good... I still can't believe you were single for 16 years... it's such a surprise.

Lex: I know.. I sometimes surprise myself. I guess I'm looking for the perfect women...

Lana: Have you found her?

Lex: Yes... but I can't get her to even know that I like her.

He said with a half smile and brighten eyes. Lana was relived because she thought that it was some other girl.

Lana: Uh, What happened to the Lex Luthor who took charge. Always forward and took so many risk.

She asked raising her hands as a sign of power. Lex just chuckles at the thought.

Lex: I guess he meet this wonderful person who changed him... and she's too much to take charge, go forward, and take these risk because of the risk of losing her is just to great for him to stand.

'Because if I take this risk... I could lose you forever and I've waited to long. To long to lose you now. I've loved you and I've loved you all along even though you haven't had the slightest clue.'

Lana: I didn't know you were so passionate and I bet if you tell her how you feel then she'll be falling into the arms of our knight anyday now.

She said giving a supporting smile.

Lex: Really... how do you know Lana? I mean she's... quite a catch.

Lana: Well I can help you if you tell me who she is??

Lex: Uh, Of well I certainly can't tell you that.

He said nervously looking down.

Lana: Oh, so I see.. it's a secret admire.. Uh, well then I wish you luck.

She said slightly laughing at the fact that he had a crush on this person and wouldn't even tell her.. and for a fact that's he's to old to have just a crush.

Just then her cell phone ranged. It was Clark so she had to pick up.

Lex: Who is it?

Lana: It's Clark.

Lex: Well then I'll give you some privacy.

He said smiling before leaving her alone. Just as he headed out the door he looked back at her. Talking on the phone with Clark.

ring, ring

Lana: Hello?

Clark: Lana. Josh and I finished everything... and maybe we could meet there for lunch.

Lana: Yeah, Ok. Your never going to believe who I just ran into.

Clark: Who?

Lana: Lex.

Clark: Luthor?

Lana: No, LaLa of course.

Clark: He's in town?

Lana: Yeah, And I'm already at the Talon so just come now.

Clark: We'll be there in 5 minutes.

Lana: Okay. Did you guys get what you need?

Clark: Yeah... some Father son bonding time. You know because we never get that like.. ever

Lana wanted to avoid the subject as much as possible. Especaially around here.

Lana: Well we can talk when you get here. By the way what's Chloe's number?

Clark: Okay, it's 555- 9697.

Lana: And Lois?

Clark: They're both in Metropolis so you might not be able to reach them. And they're working.

Lana: Clark, Just give me the number I have a way my way of contacting people.

Clark: Whatever.. 828-9595.

Lana: Thank-you. I'll see you soon.

Clark: Yeah. Ok.

He hung up and returned his attention to the road. Josh was sitting next to him in the passenger seat.

Josh: Mom means well... it's just sometimes she's scared.. and she tries to hide her true feelings for the sake of others.

Clark: I know Son.. it's just she know how hard it is... to live half of your life not knowing that you have a son.. and that he needs a father to be there.

Josh: Dad... why did you and Mom break up? Why did she go back to my other Dad?

Clark: Because... with my secret and the people who is always trying to figure it out and are willing to do anything for it.. your mother was in danger if she was around me... So I had to make a decison.

He said tears beginning to fill up as he looks straight at the road because it was to difficult for him to look his son in the eyes to tell him this.

Clark: It was one of hte most hardest decison of my life.. but I had no choice... I would rather have you mother not being with me... then put her in danger all the time. And I never wanted these powers to begin with.. I would have given them up in a sec for your mother... but it's a part of me.. and I can't change it.

Josh listen quietly. He understood what his father was saying and how hard it was to lose someone. Even though he neve lost anyone he truely loved... he could see the pain in his father's eyes.. regrets... and love.

Josh: Dad.. it wasn't your fault.. you had to worry about her safetly.. and you had no ieda that this would happen.. that you would lose her.. for 16 years.. along with me.

Clark: And that is the biggest mistake of my life... Not being able to raise my son.. to live my half of my life without know what I'm missing. You don't know how painful it was.. to know that I let you be raised by someone else..

The tears were just not holding in anymore because the pain was too much. They dropped slowly and steadily flowing down both sides of his cheecks.

Josh saw this and seeing how painful for it was for his father made him too want to cry. But he didn't he kept strong like what he was taught.

Josh: Dad.. I don't blame you.

Clark: Then.. who do you blame? Because it's not your mother's fault. It's just as much my fault as it is your mothers.

Josh: No. No. I don't blame Mom.. or you.. I blame the person who put Mom in danger.. the one that cause you two to separate so that Mom had to be in the hands of someone else. So that Mom had to take me far... and because of that I never got to know my real father. The one who gave me life.

Now Josh couldn't keep it bottle in anymore because whoever did this cause all of them so much pain.

Clark: It wasn't Jason..

Josh: I know.. my Dad loved me.. and Mom.. he wouldn't want to have cause her so much pain.. just tell me who it is?

Clark: I can't...

Josh: Why NOT?? They caused us so much pain.. why don't you want them to pay for it?

Clark: Becuase revenge is not the answer... and you'll find out in time.

Josh: I hope your right.. because right now.. there's nothing I want more then to see them suffer for what they did to us.

Clark smiled at him. Josh was strong, good, but he sometimes had the temper that couldn't be controlled when unleashed. Just like himself.

Josh smiled back at Clark as a sign that he wasn't mad at him nor could he ever be.. because of the pain Clark went though. He agreed with Clark but he also agreed with his mother. She had to let Clark go.. because he kept leaving her out.. and he would feel the same too if Clark did that... but the fact was Clark learned from his mistake... and in this situtation he felt they were both at fault none more then the other... and it could have all been prevented.... but destiny's given them a second chance and he knew that he had to do everything he can to make sure that this second chance would go to waste.

Lana was speed dailing Jason. She decided to call Jason before Clark and Josh got there because it would be extremely difficult arckward for them.

Jason: Lana?

Lana: Jason, hey baby I just wanted to tell you that everything is great.

Jason: Are you and Josh Okay? So when are you and Josh getting back? Did you see Clark? Does he want to keep Josh? Beucase he can't...

Lana: Slow down... Josh and I are great. But Josh and I won't get back for another week because.. I met Clark.

Jason: Does he want to help Josh? He wants Josh to stay with him right?

He asked really disappointed and his voice sadden. Lana realized this and she didn't want to scare him.

Lana: I'm not sure.. Jason don't worry Clark is just helping him with his... gifts. I'm not sure what else Clark wants but your not going to lose your son.

Jason: How can you be sure? What about Josh... does he get along with Clark?

Lana: Yeah.. he is.. they're really bonding a lot...And the Kents have forgiven you.

Jason: I'm glad... I knew there was something about Clark.. but ever since the metetor shower... I've given that all up... and focused on us.. you, me.. and Josh.

Lana: And I'm so glad that you have because Josh and I owe you our deepest gratitude.

She said happily to him. His mood lighten up a bit but his voice was still worried.

Jason: What about you? How are you and Clark doing?

Lana: Well... Clark and I got in a big fight once we got there. He's still kinda mad at me for not telling him.

Jason: I would be too.. just give him sometimes.. every father has a right to see there child. And you kinda did take that right from him... not that I would want you to give it to him.. but I'm just stating that it was a bit cold... not letting a man know that he was a son.

Lana: I know.. and I feel terrible for that.. but he can't expect me to hand Josh right over to him.. and he was the one that broke up with me..

Jason: Well... um.. that's got to be that last conversation you want to have with your wife.

Jason said chuckling a bit.. but Lana could tell he was hurt inside.

Lana: I'm sorry... What about you.. how's bussiness?

Jason: Good.. everything is under control.. your hospital is great. Don't worry.. I can handle all of this.. I'll be back in a week.. about the same time as you.

Lana: Okay honey... Thanks.

Jason: I love you.. bye

Lana: I..love..you too. Bye

Lana was wondering why she had to stutter to get the words out to Jason.. this is odd.. she had no problems saying it to him before.. did it have to do with Clark?? Does she still love him more then she thought she did? She can't tell Jason this... it would crush him.. he already sounded worry as hell. She just hoped he didn't realize that she stuttered.

She quickly hung up her phone and began to dial the number to Chloe's Cell. It has changed since she moved.. 'well it has been 16 years she thought. Lots of things change.. and I guess people can change too.'

Part 1:


Lana flipped opened her phone once again to call Chloe. She dialed the number careful not wanting a stranger to pick up or anything.

ring, ring, ring

Chloe: Hello?

Lana: Hi Chloe!! It's Me.. Lana.

Chloe: Oh, my God? LANA! How are you?? It's Been so long!!

Chloe's voice was loud exceitment and filled with joy. Lana could tell she hasn't changed one bit. The same wonderful Chloe.

Lana: I'm good.. find what about you??

Chloe: The same... how'd you get my number?? I've been trying to contact you for years but it's like you left the state.

Lana: Well I did.. I went to New York.

Chloe: Wow, New York that's amazing!!

Lana: Yeah, It is. And I just got your number from Clark.

Chloe was so shocked a surprised, she never in all of her dreams would have thought that Lana would would see Clark again.

Chloe: Clark?? Clark's in New York?? You met Clark already?

Lana: No. No.. Clark's not in New York. I'm in Smallville and yes I've already met Clark.

Chloe: Your in Smallville?? After all these years? Your in Smallville?

Lana: Yes.

Lana said happily to see that Chloe is execited hear from here.

Chloe: Then I've got to come see you. I'm in Metropolis right now but I can make it there in the morning. I can't wait to see you!!

Lana: Chloe, it's okay I'm going to be here for a week and I don't want you to put aside your work to come see me. I've heard you're quite busy as Editor of the Daily Planet. Congratulations.

Chloe: Thanks!! But I've got an assignment to interview Lex tomorrow about some new project he's working on. So I've got to come there anyways.

Lana: Oh.. Then by all means come!! I've missed you so much Chloe. I can't wait for you to get here. It's been too long.

Chloe: Yeah.. you're going to be so surprised to see me... 16 years changes everything.

Lana: Yeah.. I know what you mean. I've got a son now.

Chloe: Really!! How old is he??

Lana: 15.

Chloe: I'm so happy for you..

Lana: Thanks. What about you?? Any children?

Chloe: Yeah. Her names Chelsea. She's ten.

Lana: Who's the father??

Chloe: Chase. He's the he's the mayor of Smallville now.

Lana: I knew you would find happiness.

Chloe: What about you? Who't the father?

Lana: Funny you ask.. it's quite a long story...

Chloe: Who?? Come on.. it's not that complicated.

Lana: Clark.

Lana could here Chloe almost faint on the other side of the phone. She let out a huge scream that Lana could tell if it was exceitment or mad.

Chloe: CLARK!! CLARK!! Oh my god does he know?? He's going to be sooo sooo sooo HAPPY!!

Lana: Yeah.. he knows.. but he's not that happy.

Chloe: Why?? Lana, I've known Clark for over 20 years. And if he finds out he's got a son... he's the happiest man on Earth.

Lana: Actually, he's very happy finding out that he's got a son.. just the fact that I didn't let him know about it.. kills him. And the fact that... Jason Teague's been the father all these years...

Chloe: OH!... Man.. this is.. such a surprise... uh, um.. Jason's alive?? And Your son has..

Lana: Josh.

Chloe: Josh's father all these years... instead of Clark.. that must have killed him worst then Kryptonite..

Lana: Kryptonite?

Chloe: OH!! You do know about Clark's... gifts right?

Lana: Yeah.. not the way I wanted to find out... but I do know.

Chloe: Kryptonite... can kill him easily.

Lana: Oh..

Lana said sadly, not knowing how much pain she's given Clark until Chloe compared it to something that can kill him easily.

Chloe could tell that Lana felt sorry for what she did.. and she could tell that Lana was truely in pain for doing that to Clark... the kryptonite thing.. was just.. kinda blurted out.

Chloe: Lana, I'm sorry.. I didn't mean it... it just kinda came out.. I had no control. Sorry.

Lana: No. No Chloe.. you right.. I did hurt him... but not on purpose.. I only wanted what's best for him.. for us.

Chloe: I know. But sometimes what you think was best.. wasn't.. but I can't judge it from here... I'm coming tomorrow. You can tell me what happens and we could talk about this.

Lana: Yeah... I can't wait to talk you. Dealing with all this without anyone to talk to.. isn't easy.

Chloe: Then, I'll be there as soon as I can.

Lana: Great. I can't wait. OH.. by the way my number 888-1512 just in case you want to call me.

Chloe: Yeah. Thanks. Bye Lana.

Lana: Bye.

Once she finished talking to Chloe. Lana felt really bad... what Chloe said really got to her.

She flipped open her phone to call Lois not sure if she should or not.

In the end she knew that if she called Chloe then she had to call Lois too. To let her know that she was here. It could be there last chance to see each other again.

She dialed Lois' number but she didn't get an anwser. Instead she got the answering machine.

Hi, you've reach Lois Louis's cell. I'm can't pick up right now.. cause I'm probably working my *** today. You know what to do. And if this is the police then screw you!! Thank you and have a nice day. BEEP.

'Well Lois hasn't changed a bit... still the has the attitude and all. And she's married. Well at least it doesn't sound weird.'

Lana: Lois, this is Lang Teague... Lang. Um.. if you get this give me a call back at 888-1512. I'm in Smallville and I just wanted us to catch up or something... so call me. Bye.

Happy, I do NOT hate Clana... and I know it shorta seems that way... but not that I'm a sad and gloomy person... but I like the sad stories... the one that makes you cry, sob, and sticks in your mind for a while.... and I want to make them sad...

And LanaLang1234 I know I said there would be Clana in the next update but also had to get the 2 phone calls over with. The next update is Clark and Lana talking about there issues.. nicely. :) :)

Chapter 7: Guilt
Part 2:


Lana waited for Clark at the Talon. She watched the T.V and looked around the establishement. So much has changed.. she checked out the menus. There was so many dishes to chose from and so many drinks you can order. She just couldn't imagine this was the Talon she saved from becoming a parking garage so long ago..

Just as Lana is flipping around her menu Clark and Josh came through the doors. They squeezed through the large crowd of people at there. The place was so alive and bussiness was extremely great.

Lana turned around to see Josh. He was dressed in a pair of dark jeans and a red shirt with a blue jacket over it. He looked so much like Clark it made her gap.

Lana: OH!! My God!

Josh: Do you like it Mom?? Dad and I picked it out..

He said turning around like a model so she could examine it. Clark smiled seeing Lana's expression. He couldn't believe it either.. but Josh was like an exact copy of Clark in high school from head to toes.

Lana: I think you look exactly like your father.

Clark: Thanks. I thought so too... I am quite handsome aren't I?

He asked raising his eyebrowns and a big grin formed on his face as he takes a seat.

Clark and Josh sat next to each other with Lana on the other side by herself.

Alexis came up to them taking out a piece of notebook and a pen.

Alexis: What can I get you?

Lana: Hi,.. um, I'll have the fried rice with a Coke.

Alexis: Okay.. and how about you sir?

She asked Clark who puts down his menu. Josh just kept starring at how beautiful she looked. She was about 5'4, raven hair, with a dipples on both side of her cheeks.

Clark: I'll have steak with the lemons and some water.

Alexis: Okay... and how about yo...

She stopped once she saw how absolutely hot Josh looked. She was blushing red and her smiling more then ever. Josh was too smiling more then ever. He looked at her lost in a trace.

Clark and Lana both noticed this and smiled at each other. Lana was didn't want to embarrass Josh because she was the "Cool" Mom.. and Clark didn't want to say anything because he's new.. and he's afraid he's a bit Jaden in the romance area.

Josh: Hi..

Alexis: Hi.. Wh..Wh..What can I get you..

Josh: Josh! I'm Josh...

Alexis: I'm... Alexis..

Josh: Um.. I'll have what he's having.

He said pointing to Clark unable to keep his eyes of her. She nodded quickly and walked off as fast as she could. After she walked off he wiped the sweat from his forhead.

Lana: I haven't seen you sweat that much since your football and basketball game back to back.. even then you weren't sweating that much...

Josh: I'm not even sweating...

He said taking another nakin from a box filled with nakins.

Clark: Come on.. that girl looks great.. go for it.

Clark said smiling at him. He just kept wiping his face over and over again still starring at her. She was trying to stop taking sneak peeks at him but she couldn't help it.. after one or two costumers she took a quick peek.

Josh: I don't like her.. I don't even know anything about her.

Clark: It's easy.. just ask her out..

Lana: So?? It's just like that.. asking a girl out isn't suppose to be so easy... it takes time.. two person have to get to know each other... and there love will have to grow..

Lana said in a romantic voice to Clark. He argue backed that if women would just sometimes be considerate enough to save the men some embarrassment and just ask the men out instead..

Clark: I mean if you like him.. and he obviously like you... then you could save the poor guy some embarrassment and ask him out.

Lana: Well.. it's a tradition that men ask women out.. I mean.. I haven't asked a guy out in many years.

Clark: That becuase your MARRIED!! for god sakes!

Lana: It's embarrassing for women too you know.. to ask you out on dates!

Josh wasn't paying attention to either of them... he was completely lost in the trance.

Once another waitor came out with the food he noticed Josh lost somewhere.. Clark and Lana arguing about some ridiculous things. He quickly placed the food down and walked away as fast as he could.

Lana: Josh.. Josh!! Josh!!

Clark: Earth to Josh??

Clark said waving his hands over Josh's face. He quickly broke out of the trance.

Part :1

Clark: Hey.. buddy.. if you like her so much.. go up there and talk to her!! Don't wait!! Just do it!!

Lana: Yeah.. she's a nice girl..

Josh went up to talk to Alexis... and he was sweating so much both Clark and Lana could swear their son was about faint at her foot.

Alexis saw Josh coming.. she started to panic.. this was the total hottie who she couldn't resist.. he was coming closer and closer.. 'What am I going to do??'

Once Josh reached the counter Alexis was trapped in.

Josh: Hi,

He said nervously.

Alexis: Hi.

Josh:... So.. you work here..

Alexis: Yeah..

Josh: Um... so... for how long?

Alexis: a year...

Josh: Oh... so your a freshmen?

Alexis: Yeah.. you?

Josh shyly nodded as she takes her break. He jumps on a stool and begins to make himself comfortable.

Josh: So... what are you into?

Alexis: Stuff... I enjoy playing basketball.. and swimming.

Josh: Really.. what position do you play for basketball?

Alexis: Point guard.

Josh: Me too!! I haven't met a girl who plays basketball...

Alexis: Yeah.. I love it. You play basketball too?

Josh: I play all sorts of sports.. I'm the captin of he basketball team.

Alexis: Cool! Maybe.. you and I can get together sometimes.. and play. You know.. to prove that girls are better then guys.

Josh: Yes! Yes... I agreed.

Alexis: Great.. Um.. maybe tomorrow.. how long are you staying?

Josh: A week.

Alexis: Your Lana Lang's son right?

Josh: A huh..

Alexis: Who's your father?

Josh: My father..

Alexis: Because you look a lot like Clark.. the guy sitting next to your mom.. I couldn't tell you guys a part if I you guys had labels.

Josh: Actually..

He told Alexis to come closer... he whispered in her ears.

Josh: He is my father... but it has to stay in the family.

Alexis: Then why are you telling me this?

Josh: Because I trust you...

Alexis smiled at him. He gave her the 'Josh Charm' that made every girl in his old school fall to his feet.

Alexis: So where are you coming from?

Josh: New York.

Alexis: Wow.. I've always wanted to go to New York.. get out of here.. to become a lawyer. That's what I've always wanted to be.

Josh: My Dad owns a international law firm.. I'm sure I can get him to give you an internship.

Alexis: Yeah right!!.. Clark works for the Daily Planet.. he doesn't own a law firm!

Josh: No.. I meant.. my father who raised me.. before I met Clark.. Jason Teague.

Alexis: Get out!! You are not Jason Teague's son!

Josh: I am.

He boasted trying to impress her.

Alexis: Then.. your Josh.. Josh Teague!! The guy MVP of Jefferson High! You were on CNN last week about your interview on how the game would go! Your like the star! Every college wants you... what the heck are you doing here?

Josh: To be with you.

Alexis laughed making Josh chuckled a little.

Alexis: But really.. why are you here?

Josh: To find my Dad..

Alexis: But.. you have the perfect life?

Josh: It wasn't so perfect.. I never go to knwo my real father... and it's frustrating.. not to know where you come from.

Alexis: I would trade your life for my anyday of the week.

Josh: Why?

Alexis: My father works on a farm.. he's owns many plantations.. but I don't want to be a country girl.. I want to move to the city.. but he doesn't approve.. he wants me to take over his plantations.. it's been in our family forever.. and he doesn't want it to change.

Josh: Wow.. I want to get out of the city life.. it's complicated.. and hard. I really like it her though.

Alexis: Hey.. do you want to come to Smallville High tomorrow? My friends would die to meet you.. your famous!

Josh: Yeah.. but I don't want attention.. so it's our secret. Ok?

Alexis: Yeah.. My squad would love to meet you!

Josh: Basketball squad?

Alexis: No.. Basketball season is over.. so I'm doing Swimming and Cheer squad.

Josh: Wow... I'd love to meet your cheerleader squad. And I could check out the competition.

Alexis: Sure.. I'll after school on the football field tomorrow.

Josh: Great..

Clark: Lana.. I.. I want Josh to stay with me from now till the end of the Summer.

Lana: What! No.. he can't.. he's still got to finish school!! You don't know this but he's got soccer championships coming up... and Jason would kill me if I don't get him back.

Clark: He's my kid too... and you've got him for 15 years.. isn't that enough? All I'm asking for is 5 months.

Lana: No Way!

Clark: He'll be in Metropolis... not Smallville so you don't have to worry about Kryptonite.

Lana: That's not it!

Clark was surprised at her tone.

Clark: Then what is it!!

Lana: I did you the favor.. I brought him here.. so you could meet him...

Clark: You didn't bring him Lana! He ran away and you had to get off of your lazy butt to take him here!

Lana: He would have run away if I didn't tell him the truth!

Clark: You owe it to him to tell him the truth.. not me.

Lana: I don't owe you anything.. after all these years... YOU were the one who lied to me.. for what? I gave you so many chances to tell me.. but you told Chloe.. and Pete! But you.. never.. not once told me.. I had to have a child in order for me to even know..

Clark could feel her pain.. and he was in pain too.. he was just upset..

Clark: I couldn't tell you!! You went back to that evil son of a *****! Right after we were together!

Lana: Don't call him that!! He took care of me.. he didn't care if the child wasn't his.. he raised him just like his own. He didn't even cared if Josh had powers!

Clark: That's because he knew I had powers! He knew the whole time!

Lana: He had theories!! But.. do you what it's like to have a child who was so different! I couldn't handle it.. and he was the only one there for me! I kept your secret for so long! And yet the only thing you could ever say to me is that I took away your chance of being a father!

Clark: YOU DID!!

It was a good thing they sat in a corner.. and no one could barely here them because the music as playing really loud now.

Lana: You have no idea how hard it is for me.. Do you?

Clark: You?? I just wanted so time to be with him!

Lana: You can't have that time!

Clark: He's our kid.. he'll decided..

Lana: You can't think he'll go against me?? Do you? Josh has never disobeyed in his life.

Clark: Yeah.. execpt when he ran away to see.. Me

Lana: Clark.. this isn't a competion.. he's coming back with me in a week and it's final.

Clark: No.. it's his choice.

Lana: If.. If he stays.. I'm not staying.. I'll be going.. I don't want to be the kryptonite.. to you.

Clark: What??

Lana: Nothing.. I've got to go... tell Josh to come to the Smallville Inn tonight... or he could stay with you. It doesn't matter. I wanted you to bond.. but you can't expect me to give him to you for 5 months. NO Way.
