Let's put the smallville writers in the Phantom Zone

The writers are morons. They need to be fired, and replaced by college interns.

I hope smallville is cancled, forced to end on this terrible, rediculous, hilariousely stupid ending, just so that no professional network ever considers hiring people as incapable as these writers ever again.

Lana was trustworthy afterall. But she's evil.

He spares Lex's life because he thinks there's some good in there, despite Lex mocking his good intentions.

That makes Clark a bad judge of character on three counts. Good job writers. Superman is a complete idiot.

A little harsh in the review, though I agree that this wasn't the greatest finale. I do think that the opening episode of next season will be pretty good though.

It wasn't SV best season finale...the writers don't need to go in the phantom zone yet only if they ever show a clip of the LA riots ever again..but they should know better when writing a season finale...thay better bring it for s6. :\ !

I swear tonight seemed to me to be less about Zod and more of a contest to see whos the biggest moron Lana or Clark? Damn one idot character is not enough you have to have to. I love Smallville...so this ep had a few head scratching moments..so what still loved it!!
You can't just give up on show because the characters don't fit into your mold. Its all fun:)

Well either next year sucks as much as this year, or the series ends, and the world of TV learns a lesson from it.

That's how I see it.

I hope Smallville does some MAJOR damage control next season.

Yes I love the show and Im made fun of for saying that in the real world but I do hope next year is the last. They should really bust their chops on making every coming episode awesome so it wont have a weak ending. Also the title of this thread is really funny, I keep thinking about it and start laughing out loud ...really I have that much time on my hands.

I can agree that next year should be the last. But they should finish the storyline and end on an actual ending, not a cliffhanger. There's a difference between "Smallville is nearing the end of it's life cycle and should wrap things up and be over" and "I hope smallville is cancled".

Yeah but they made lana his obsession the entire series, and it turns out she would have been faithful, honest, and trustworthy. 5 years of torcher for that slap in the face. That makes the whole premise of the show different. I wouldn't be able to get past that. Especially when the "love of my life" ends up with "my worst enemy". Yeah, it's a nice story arc, good drama, etc. But that's not superman. That's some other character. That's not clark kent. That's some other dumb ass.

The show does not deserve to be cancelled on the merits of this season finale. However, I can totally understand the sentiment of wanting to put the SV writers into the Phantom Zone. I just hope that the writers realize that one day SV will end. Will they have finished telling the story by then?:\
