What made you think he was Zod? Was it the way he acted? Any line of dialogue? I have not seen the episode yet, but I want to know if Lex is Zod or if he's a vessel or not.

I have. I've been using that to help formulate my opinion, actually, but I was wondering, did you see the episode already? If so, did Lex say anything that indicated he was Zod? Cuz I was thinking and hoping maybe Lex would just be Lex and not Zod or Braniac and that he'd be Evil Lex (like from "Onyx" when he was split in two and he was evil and good Lex). Either that or a Lex clone, or Lex just got too much into his powers and that helped him cross to the dark side.

A bit early don't you think? We don't know that Lex is actually Zod yet, i'm not completely discounting it, but Lex could just as easily be Brainiac.

Zod has own body anyways, why would he want Lex's? Was he the Elephant Man of Krypton and now wants the sexy-ness that is Lexy's body? :confused:

well in the 30 sec trailer after 'oracle' brainiac says ''you've been chosen''..then it cuts straight to lex coming out of the cacoon thing... what did u think of that part

lex will be zod. there is no need for him to be brainiac cause brinaic can do what he wants on his own and if he wanted to look like lex all he needed to do was clone himself and look like lex like he did with mr kent. zod is the only one that this episode is based on that cant actually do anything and he needs to hgave control over someone until he can get out and do it himself. i think brainiacs thinking is if clark doesnt release zod then atleast he will have lex to be zod and zod can still do with the earth as he wants.

Therein lies another reason for Lex's hatred ( future hatred) of Superman perhaps ?

Also, when Lex cut his finger, it healed very "Braniac-like"...

The virus injected into Lex LOOKS like the goo that Braniac is made of...

I think that, if Lex is Zod, he better where some of that freaky clothes that the Kryptonian wear, Lex will look too sexy for Lana !!

They were nano machines..microscopic computers..that can regenerate or replicate from itself. I believe that shot of Lex coming out from the coccoon...was a dream..lol. Like it's been said before...Zod has his own body...but...removing himself from the phantom zone...could possible mean a unbalanced...a fail safe that jor-el put in as a last resort....assuming.

By the way,,,I thought Lionel was already established as the vessel of kryptonian knowledge..as he mention in the season premiere..Arrival.

Oh well, I was hoping that Lex was just going to be enhanced but NOT become Zod, therefore leading to memory wipe. I was also hoping that Zod would be a stand alone character (Marsters, probably). That's alright, it's still shaping up to be pretty cool.

That would be a hell of a plot twist, but the MB is already the vessel for Jor-El, so I doubt it. It'll probably be Lex vs. Clark/Lion-El.
