What did you think of the cliffhanger this season? Better or worse the previous seasons? Did it leave you wanting more?

I hate cliffhangers...Hate waiting till September to find out what happens.

I think it will be the best so far. I really was excited with Oracle and just seeing the previews for Vessel, it looks really big.

Like someone else said, an attack on Metropolis (and possibly world-wide) is something akin to what a future Superman would have to handle. No more Smallville stuff in this episode. So far it is setting itself up for a hopefully exciting episode.

You could argue that Season 4 did this too, but in the midst of a meteor strike near Smallville which the federal government seems to have forgotten about, Clark quiety and quickly eradicated two extra-terrestrial enemies which no one else seems to have picked up on too.

What we see so far from the previews, there will be many more people wondering, what is happenning!?

I think Clark will be in the pz. Zod and fine will possibly say something. Then it ends and the summer speculating begins.

It's probably a 99.9% chance it'll be on the CW.

I'm sure AlMiles have gotten a confirmation from CW execs that Smallville will be coming back for a sixth season, otherwise they would be trying to conclude everything, which doesn't seem to be the case.

Then again, anything can happen. Lois and Clark expected to be back for a fifth season, I believe, and then they were cancelled and left with a cliffhanger ender that was never resolved. So, who really knows.:p

Cliffhangers are an awesome way to end a season. "Covenent" I think it was had a great one. "Commencement" felt like the worst of the cliffhanging finales to me.
