It will definately only be an hour (including commercials). Last year, they announced the extended length in advance. If it was going to be longer, they would have mentioned it already. It would have been awesome if they put together a 10 minute clip show from Superman returns and did another 90 minute deal though.

The show is going to run an extra 2 minutes. It goes until 9:02. That's what my directv guide is indicating. Whether there will be 2 minutes more of commercials or 2 minutes of the show remains to be seen.

ya i saw it was 2 minutes longer but normal shows run until 8:58 and then they have nerxt week on smallville so im guessing those 2 extra minutes will be for the superman returns trailer.

Well, that doesn't mean that there will b 2 extra minutes of the show or commercials...They could start and end the show couple minutes later for people who tivo it. They did that for Friends series finale so people had to watch it when it showed instead of tivoing it. Purely a ratings manuever.

I hope this episode isn't rushed. They have so much to talk about. I thought for sure it would last an hour and a half, like Commencement. I just hope this episode flows nicely.

I can't wait

on the radio today they were promoting this as a "two hour event," so I guess they could make it go a few extra minutes and not worry about losing too many viewers.

I read on the WB network that it's going to be at 8 and 9 so two hours long right?

No, according to the WB website, the season finale will be followed by "Aqua"... at least, that's what it has for my area. *sighing* I wish they'd show "Splinter" instead.

Does no one here know how to go to tvguide.com? It runs 8-9 and then 9-10 is a repeat lol
