When Clark saw the baseball tickets martha said something like "Jonathan loved baseball" or something like that. Where did this come from, I could have understood football tickets since they have talked about the Metropolis Sharks and were in Metropolis to see them in the episode "Run"

I know, and couldn't he have at least given Clark tickets to a Major League baseball game? Give him tickets to see the royals get socked by the yankees. Don't give him wolverines tickets.

Hey now, Johnathon and Clark are good, decent people. They would never be yankees fans. Besides, "socking the royals" isn't somethin to be proud of when your payroll is over $200 million.

O, and as far as johnathon's love for baseball comin out of nowhere, isn't it just understood that everyone loves baseball??? Come on now people!

If those were Yankee ticks Clark would of never left em that at the grave site. :)

Anyway....football ticks would of made more sense based on JK love of football but Jk is the All American, we like our baseball and apple pie!Plus he got great seats!

Oh boy. This is not good to hear about my Yankees. But even with a 200 million dollar payroll, the Yankees were swept by the Royals last year in Kansas City.

It's to be expected when the team gettin swept has a "No more than 2 players under 60" policy.

They may be an old team, but they can still hit the ball. I'd love to see them get younger and drop payroll.

Damn you! Your too nice and agreeable!!! Can't have a decent sports arguement with you!!! Wait, are you one of those rappers that "claims" to be a yankee fan and wears their hat in your videos cause their "cool", but in reality knows nothing about baseball? Cause i understand they make up 73.4% of yankee fans. The other 26.6% would have figured out i'm a Red Sox fan by now and ripped on me at least twice already!!!

I know that you're a red sox fan, and I'm glad we took it to you back in 2003. 2004 I had to go into hiding, but I'm back now. I'm not a cocky yankee fan though. They have flaws this year and I'm the first to admit it. If Schilling and Beckett stay healthy this year along with Papelbon closing games out, they are going to give the yankees a run for their money.

Oh and by the way, I hate rap music.

ok back on topic I think that baseball ticks are very weird along with you guys I think Footballl would have been much better and I really don't think JK could have afforded yankees ticks

I agree.
And the "wolverines"? What was that? A nod to Bryan Singer?

We're weird for liking baseball? But JK wouldn't buy tickets to Yankee stadium, he'd buy tickets to Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City to see the Royals take on the yankees.

Football tickets would have made a lot more sense, but it's baseball season right now, so unless there's an arena football team in Granville, they're kind of stuck.:p

when would he even had bought the tickets, he died in January, In smallville time i mean. Baseball always has a spring start, they dont sell tickets to games at least untill Late Febuary.

I know the answer....PLOT HOLE right

Plus Im reading too much into this.

That isn't the first time they did that though. In Crisis they pulled the Metropolis Vipers basketball team out of nowhere, right? I don't think they were ever heard of again.

As Chlark Kent said, at least they got the sporting event right with the time of year.

Yeah I think whenever they have a storyline that involves some sort of sporting event going on they just put together words to form a team.

I think the Sharks are the only team mentioned more then once, are they supposed to be a NFL team in the world of Smallville?

That's what I've assumed, yeah. Presumably the Vipers are a professional basketball team in this world too.

No, Yankee tickets go on sale in november so it is possible for Jonathan to get tickets over the winter. As soon as the schedules come out, tickets go on sale.

i dont know maybe smallville makes uyp teams just so they wont get in any copywrited lawsuit or something i mean the metropolis sharks isnt a real team just made up for copywrite reasons
