B/c at the time, Lionel's body was taken over by Jor-El and Braniac cannot or is not as powerful as Jor-El.

It was real cool . Brainiac crapped his pants when Lion-el appeared. How exactly do you kill this guy (Brainiac). Is it impossible or something? I don't read comics so I don't know.

this brainiac is completely different than the one in the comics so its hard to say how they will kill him and if it is possible to even kill this brainiac. i think the black ship needs to be destroyed do kill him

If it's based loosely off of comics or animated Braniac, he is nearly impossible to kill.

Brainiacs more of a computer program designed by Kryptonians (some storires), but is smart enough to take sentient form, build itself bodies, destroy planets...yada yada.

So imagine trying to track down and destroy a computer program that can upload itself to any satellite, any computer, random piece of circuitry, or even a living body. It really depends on how for the writers want to take Brainiac.

In this SV version of the Superman myth I think that Fine/Brainiac is a living computer made by Kryptonians and can not directly kill/harm Kryptonians. Has he directly harmed Clark yet? It would also explain why he could not kill Lionel himself. Lionel is currently a vessel for Jor-El and is off bounds for Fine/Brainiac. He needs Clark to kill his father Jor-El/Lionel as part of his plan to bring back the return of Zod. He is evil and twisted for a robot but is still made with some safegaurds. TPTB make the Kryptonians to be very aloof so there is most likely nothing in there to keep him from killing humans.
