i dont understand this virus deal.last week they wrre creating a compound virus then it was a vaccine the fine said he was only releasing it onto one person being lex...i dont kno im confused.............:confused:

Sure, I think I can help a little. Up until now, we didn't know for exactly what purpose the viruses were being gathered. It was revealed (I think in this episode) that the viruses were being gathered for the purpose of creating a super-vaccine that would protect humanity from whatever virus the aliens released upon us. That, at least, was the story Fine told Lex. The truth was that Fine needed LutherCorp's resources to create the vaccine which he could modify. He modified it so that it would transfer some sort of abilities to Lex.

The whole "never meant to be mass produced" thing was because Lex had been told the vaccine was to be used to vaccinate humanity. In reality, Fine only wanted the virus so he could modify it and infect Lex with... something.

I'm sure you can find more about Fine's true intentions regarding Lex in the spoilers section. I avoid them though, so all I know is that the vaccine for some reason gave Lex a regenerative ability.
