why is it so hard to release zod? does zod HAVE to be released in the fortress of solitude, or does the FOS just happen to be the only place where the phantom zone can open (it cant be, because it opened in the premeire in lex's office)?
wouldnt it make more sense for braniac to just super speed to the FOS with a new black crystal and do it himself? why does clark have to?
i just dont see the need for a vessel to be used. it seems overly complicated to me. it seems to me that the WB is too nervous to show the ACTUAL Zod, and they figure it would be easier to use lex as a vessel? they could get a kick-ass fight scene out of it all too.
personally i think someone like zod would look really cheesy on a show like smallville anyway, so it doesnt bother me too much. the whole lex as a vessel thing just strikes me as a bit convenient.
