the trialer has brainiac inject lex and that looked pretty cool how it came out of his arm. kind of like one of the first picture from project mecury when he took blood from those kids. thats a pretty good special effect. im sure we will get some good stuff seeing how they skimped out on special effects on a couple of episodes.

If these last two episodes of the season are not super FX heavy, I have one question, "Where the hell did all your money go?". I mean, seriously, we've been lacking the same kind of things we got in previous seasons where it was like, "Oh my god, that was amazing!". Looking at the previous years, each one had a super-awesome, amazing fx shot that was the centerpiece of that year.

Season one had the tornados. Season two had the super jump in "Insurgence". Season three had the Johnathan/Clark fight from "Phoenix". And season four, I'd say is debateable as to what was the best fx scene. It's a toss up between the flight from "Crusade" or the entire last half of "Commencement".

With season five, while the building of the Fortress in "Arrival" was incredible and awsome to see, we haven't seen anything of the quality of that since then. Yeah, Clark fighting Aquaman underwater was neat. Running through the fire in "Lockdown" was awesome, but what else have we had? Nothing.

If either "Oracle" or "Vessel" don't have some kind of over the top fight scene between Clark/Brainiac, Clark/Zod or a combination, I'll be seriously wondering what the hell is going on. If you haven't been saving your budget until the finale, then where the hell did it go?

I am just AWED at the amount of special effects they are using, and how well they fit in with this episode!
