View Full Version : One oversight...?

In past episodes I never clamored for Chloe to be in danger. And I still don't. It'll happen when it happens and I'm sure it'll be well worth the wait.

BUT...That said, there was just something said tonight that felt like quite the oversight. Graham tells Clark that now he has to kill him, Lex and Lana because they know who he is and all the tralala...Did I miss something? Wasn't Graham right there listening while Clark and CHLOE were discussing his invisibility and such? Wouldn't it have made more sense if he'd also said he'd have to go after Chloe as well? I'm not saying show it on screen, but at least acknowledge the fact that he knew she knew too.

And for that I only blame the writers.

I fully understand that the whole point was for him to go after Lana and Lex...but if that line was to make any sense at all then it should have included the FOUR people that knew of his secret, not just three out of four...even if he'd never get to go after Chloe at all. It's just a matter of mentioning it IMO.

When did Chloe see his face.

She saw him while outside when Clark saved the guy.

And even so, she knew fully well of his identity and power. Graham was standing right behind them when they were discussing it.

Just add it to the pile of all the other over sights of the past... :)

The way they ominously faded out to commercial as he was watching Chloe, I thought he'd go after her too.

Guess they decided not to pursue that angle, though it would have made more sense than going after Lex. I know Lex's attempted strangulation was to help Clark and advance the plotline, but at the same time, Clark easily could have walked in on the villain trying to do the same to Chloe.

I thought it looked pretty bad for Chloe too, especially since they showed Clark leaving her behind (unprotected). I was surprised they let that go. Glad...but surprised.

My feelings as well. I thought he was going to go after when he faded back right before it left for commercial. Seemed like a rather obvious oversight.
