AlMiles need to grow a pair and go ahead and kill her off.
Chloe is the natural one for Clark.

Haha, your pretty much right..
Chloe is living the Previous Lois life
Daily Planet..
Working on things together, etc. etc.
Lois is kinda more so... Just another actor

Lois is the comic relief...and it works, although she really isn't a progressive character.

It's another cookie cutter episode period
Chloe
1. Pushing Clark into what she wants him to be instead of Clark deciding for himself what he wants to be
2. Hacking into a data base, this time Metro Plasma to find out who bought Clark his new toys
3. Speaking in metaphors "you can pull a coin from the favor bank any time you need"
4. Hinting for him to move on because she wants him to move on to her
Clark
1. Blaming Lionel for his new toys
2. Catching Lana kissing someone, this time Lex
3. Moping in the loft
4. Oblivious to Chloe's hints
Lex
1. Obsessing about his newest obsession Dr. Fine
2. Attacked by a mutant
3. Lying with a straight face
4. Playing the 'poor little rich boy' card when no one but Lana visits him at the hospital
Martha
1. Is sure Clark is wrong about Lionel sending the new toys
2. Says she'll phone Lionel because he really isn't in the episode
3. Has a foreshadowing heart to heart with Lois
Lana
1. Puts remarkably naive faith in yet another rebound man
2. Sits with rebound man in the hospital
3. Kisses rebound man in front of Clark
4. Loft scene where she tells Clark it's over --- again
