the writing is awesome i just say 'way to go clark!' it's to obvious for him to just say it randomly, he could've said 'it' instead of 'meteor rock'

i was watching 'whisper' last night and i thought about 'fade' when clark used his super-hearing..it was sad to me because his dad is the one who helped him 'concentrate' with his hearing..if u remember that from 'whisper'. =/
All about Clark

Yea, if he said Kryptonite instead of meteor rock, Graham wouldn't have had a clue.

come on...why would clark use 'meteor rock'??? god i m begining to doubt ET intelligence....he has all these words he can use like a code or something since no-one else know them and he just wont use it...what is wrong with him? ....actually what's wrong with the writer of this show???
lately i m not really angry with what is happening to smallville...this show had so much potential...so sad...

It seems unfortunate that TPTB will use only union writers for the show. I've read a lot of good ideas here on the forum. It seems like the folks here are more aware of what has gone on in the show than the writers.
On the other hand, the writers do have a lot of dots to connect. And the show is only about 40 minutes per episode. If the writers only had a few dots to connect, they might be able to answer more of the plot holes so many complain about. But then, the show would probably be less interesting. I have questions I'd like answered, but they will likely remain unanswered. I am still a fan of the show. I will still watch. The thing that will stop me is smut. I do not enjoy that.

'Meteor rock' is being used frequently now days.
Chloe said it in 'Void', and Clark responded by saying it again, and in this episode, 'Fade' Clark says meteor rock.
Oh dear.

When pulled out the Kryptonite, Why didn't clark just hit him with Heat vision. I thought this problem was solved when he fought the steroid baseball player back in season 2 or 1. His dad told him Clark you moron you have other powers besides super human strength use them. If the guy pulled out Kryptonite then blow it up with heat vision and beat the crap out of him.
We've all seen him use his heat vision while being around kryptonite

Shades of Obsession. Jonathan says, "I supposed she knows about your weakness, too." Clark: "No, I didn't tell her about the meteor rock." And of course Alicia is listening in.

I was about to mention this too. I just watched the episode last night. They obviously wrote it that way so the villians in these episodes would have a reason for knowing about his weakness.

In whisper when he did that while it was spinning in the air, it reflected a beam back into his eyes which made him go blind. In Onyx, when there was no reflection, the heat caused it to turn into black-k. I want this to happen again in the S5 finale or S6 opener with Fine trapping him with green k, and where he is forced to turn it into black-k and cause his Kal-El half to split from him. The way I see it, they should team up temporarily to stop Fine, the virus, and the coming of Zod, and once all that's done, have them fight it out for the control of the world (or Clark's body). It would be best if Clark loses and Kal-El flies away, only to return several times during S6 as Clark's recurring enemy.

I don't remember that but i believe you. But although that is true clark still could have hit Grahm with heat vision and knocked the rock out of his hand. OR the writer could actually remember what they did in previous episoded and let clark run away, when he is around the rock
