I take it that the MB already knowing Clark's secert since at the end of commencement, planned a way to kill Jonathan to get to Martha, so he made it look like a heart attack but really something in the pills, MB rigged the pills

I dont think Lionel intentionally killed off JK...I think it just happened when he was there...

Now the reason of why he was there, that was a bad judgement call.

So, in an indirect way, Lionel does have some responsibility in Jonathan's death?

Do you think Clark will find out? I think he will at some point.

The Opera Scene will be playing for Lionel suffering the loss of Martha's love. Because Clark or Martha will find out on him.

YES! Anything that involves more opera on the show and more Lionel is magnificent. I truly hope something like that happens! AND THEN...with the loss of Martha's love, Lionel RETURNS TO HIS TRULY EVIL, MB WAYS!!!!!!!! WOOT WOOT! WOOT WOOT! :)

If Lionel turns to his truly evil ways again, then I would highly suggest that they have a season (probably 6th or 7th season) as Lionel's last hurrah. He pulls out all stops, this time knowing the secret. It would be the ultimate test to see if Clark is ready to become Superman. This may even be the thing that teaches Lex about Kryptonite.

You have to wonder why Lionel would confront JK in a blackmailing manner if his intentions were so pure to protect Clark. That is why I find it hard to believe that some people might actually buy Lionel's turn and are asking if he is good or bad. The fact of the matter is that Lionel tried to use his knowledge to blackmail JK in Reckoning. The plan backfired with the death, so now he is just regrouping and waiting for a better time to strike in my opinion.

Anything less would make JK's death a complete waste. I mean-JK did tell Clark that he was so proud that he died protecting Clark.

JK's death can not be for nothing!!!

(I know that was bad grammar. I used a double negative :( )
