Where was Lois?

I thought Erica Durance was supposed to star in this one. Maybe this means now she will be in episode 5.21 instead.. I was hoping to see some Clois, since I missed last week's show by accident :mad: oh well, you can't always get what you want, right?

by the way, did anyone else think that Clark threatening Lionel at the end was extremely HOT!? (to put it lightly..:lol: ) I needed to fan myself or get a drink of water or something. Jeez!

What would have been the point of having Lois in this episode? It revolved around Martha, Lionel, and Clark. Lois would have just gotten in the way. That has been my main gripe about Lois as a whole. They always seem to just shove her into an episode without actually coming up with a good reason to have her there. Lois always comes off feeling like a fifth wheel.

She was great at the start of S4, but as S4 went on and into season five her appearances felt more and more forced.

I don't know why these threads pop up anyway. Don't people know by now that Lois isn't featured in every episode? Just goes to show you that TPTB are content with destroying her character as time goes on.

I was SO HAPPY when I realized that Lois wasn't in this episode. I also think that's why it was one of the better episodes in Season 5.

If you will note the best episodes, Lois is missing or strictly incidental. She is best in monumental works like Aqua or Lucy.
