Why hasn't Clark told his mother yet?

Why hasn't Clark told Marhta about Lionle yet? Doesn't he think that's something she should know? SHe's spending so much time with Lionel and problerly playing right into his hands so.....??????

I think Clark said that she has a lot on her mind right now but he will tell her soon. I did like Clark's expression when Martha told him that she was going to call Lionel. He was like, "what? No, don't!"

Oh my god, that bothered me so much! Amidst the Lexana controversy I'd forgotten how that part of the episode annoyed me. "She has alot on her mind" was such a lame lame lame explanation.:p

That's the problem of putting of a Lionel related episode when the arc was hot off what happened in Void. This is something he should have told her ASAP.

It's called spreading the goodness out. TPTB and their writers don't have enough good material, so they are going to wait for the Lionel revelation in a later episode. This one is the true definition of "filler." Hey, at least they referenced it!! If this were last season, the whole episode would've went on without a drop of what happened in the prior episode... :D

Heck yeah! But I agree that for future plotting purposes, they'll probably wait to have an entire episode about that reveal. But still - hello- they've spent 5 years protecting this secret from the Luthors and now one of them - LIONEL no less- knows and Clark's taking his own sweet time! Puleeze!

I agree. Doesn't Clark think that this is proberly more important then the things she has on her mind?

I hope she gets mad at him for keeping this from her. He's keeping more and more from his parents and think don't seem to get mad at him.

I think an episode where Clark continues his hunt of Fine's trail by breaking into the Luthor mansion and then stumbles into traps that Fine has set out for him as he runs around the world. It could have left with Clark failing and going to Lionel/Jorel in the following episode. I think it's a must that Clark visit the FOS after knowing that Fine is still alive.

We already saw what happens when Clark doesn't tell his parents about something Krypton/Jor-El/his secret related with the whole "Clark's life will be exchanged for someone he loves" thing. Doesn't he ever learn anything? He is doing the same thing he did pre-Reckoning. TELL HER YOU BIG DUMB FARMBOY!! :mad: :)

I agree!! You would think that Lionel knowing his secret would kinda be important since the Kents have tried so hard for so long to keep it a secret.

He also didn't tell them everything about the stones in season 4.

Clark never learns that keeping secrets is bad (secrets from those who know his secret)

Clark probably just dont want to tell her becuase it is bound to hurt her. This is the way the conversation keeps on playing in my head

"Hey mom I know Lionel is your friend and all but listen when I died...again....I saw Dad and he told me that he died protecting me from Lionel and now Lionel knows me secret and so you just shouldnt be around Lionel because you know he is evil and all"

and which Martha should really start worrying about if Clark has finally fallen off his rocker.

that, i cannot answer for i am not writers...maybe this will lead to something that not even Clark can fix...but he did try to tell her...although it wasa very pathetic try...so give him some credit...maybe he wants to protect his mom and not raise any suspision that he knows that Lionel knows his secret.....but who knows this might actually be very interesting when everything is reveled...
