How exactly is Lois qualified to be Martha Kent's chief of staff? She is a college drop out.

well according to Martha, IF it weren't for Lois Jonathan wouldn't be in the Senate race and I guess that's all the qualification right there.

It's called learning as you go.

I'm sure if she accidently starts a war with Mississippi, Martha will fire her.

Lois was not qualified for the position of Campaign Manager, she just got hooked up because Jonathan was just as idiotically ignorant as she was. But since she ended up doing well in the position... *cough*BS*cough* she has prior experience that would make her qualified for the job.

Seeing as Lois has never shown any real qualification, I'd say this is once again a matter of her being handed something she didn't really work for. I'm not quite sure why the writers are writing her this way though...for some reason it'd make so much more sense of Lois was at least a little driven. She's not really. So I'm puzzled by her at times...

After being a campaign manager and winning the election, I would say you're qualified for the chief of staff job.

I'm starting to think more and more that she's not even qualified to be on the show.

I usually like Lois but I really didnt like her in this episode. Im not sure exactly why but something about the way she was acting and treating people made me dislike her.

She is aggressive, that is her only qualification, otherwise, the concept and position are laughable.

It's a fine case of political cronyism. Sometimes you just want people you know and trust, not necessarily the most suited. We all know that Lois Lane is a more than competent person as it is.
