Keep getting notification emails...

I have checked the box in "edit profile" to not recieve emails everytime someone replies to a post ihave subscribed to, but i continue to get emails anyway. Can this be fixed?

The point of subscribing to a thread is receiving notification emails. I think the button in your porfile just means you won't receive emails every time someone replies to a thread you have created. So if you don't want emails, don't subscribe to threads.

I don't recall ever subscribing to a thread in the first place, yet somehow I'm subscribed to a ton. :lol:

At the top of the page is a button labeled my profile. In it is a list of all the threads that you are subscribed to. You can use this list to unsubscribe to the threads. If this does not solve the email notification problem then you are getting them for some other reason.

Your userprofile's default is to subscribe to all threads you create, and it may also be set to subscribe to all threads you post in. You need to change its settings so that neither of these is the case any more, and then click on the "unsubscribe all" link in the next notification email you get.
