If this episode happened before reconkoning? who would clark have seen when he "died". Im leaning toward his real parents, but part of me says Alicia....

It would definitely would be his parents, or least Jor-EL, BUT why in the world would he see Alicia, he wasn't even that close to her. There would be NO reason as to WHY he would see her. IMO, she is not even that important in his life.
well it would be difficult as Jor-El (forgot they guy's real name) is really occupied from what ive heared... so i guess he couldn't play ;o

Definitely
He might have liked Alicia on some level, but I think his biological mother trumps Alicia big time.

The relationship with Alicia was a strange one. the first girl he could open up to, and he helps put her away in favor of another girl he really wants to be with.
then she shows up again, which is great because why should he mope around waiting for Lana who obviously has her eyes on Jason within months of being in Europe?
But when Alicia dies and he confesses how much he loved her, that was a bit extreme as he never actually did show that much love to her.
Then the rest of the show never comes back to this storyline again.
It depends on the message that needed to be said. JK's information was good. I'm not so sure how Jor-El would give him any "fatherly" advice if he has always been shown to be something else.

I voted his biological parents, but I do think he might have seen Alicia.
Ryan also came across my mind.

Lara (his biological mother), she'd have a better chance of getting through to Clark then Jor-El with the messiage of love and danger

I would have to say Lara with perhaps Jor-el there as well... but mostly Lara as Clark still doesn't think of Jor-el as a father but really longs to see his real mother.

I voted for Ryan...would probably be the best scene, but I think Dr. Swann would be a great touch

i voted ryan..i think this because ryan would be someone to tell him that everything would be ok and that it would all work out..and he would have to fulfill his destiny and save everyone..he would have also warned about both lex and lionel

I'm hoping he would see Laura, cause I would love to see a scene with him and his biological mother.

I'm thinking Ryan only because Clark wasn't that close to Alicia and she wouldn't have had anything decent to say to him anyway, he was even less close to kyla (skinwalker chic), and it seems like jor-el and laras spirits would be in some other dimension, not the same place dead humans go. but then again clark went where johnathan was, so maybe not.

i would say jor el
and lara
that was the first name he said

Yeah I would think Lara too. It was obvious in Memoria that Clark now has strong feelings to her so to me she would make the most sense and probably could of said the same thing Jonathan did with great meaning.

Clark Jr. aka Evan from Ageless.
Evan: Why are mommy & you always fighting?
CK: For the last time you dumb son of a b---ch, I'm not your father and Lana isn't your mother.

its obvious he would see jorel and lara but if i had to pick anyone else id hope he saw ryan, ryan was awesome and he was the only person clark really cared about that much that wasnt a main character in the show, plus he knew everything so that was pretty kool

I would hope that he would have seen his Kryptonian parents. I'm not saying that the others didn't have an affect on Clark's life, but what Jor-El and Lara would have to offer with their words would carry so much more weight with Clark than anyone else ever could. ...if Void happened before Reckoning of course.

Probably his parents but not, because they wouldn't show them. Most realisticly Alicia..

I would doubt that very much Clark and Alicia weren't even that close. His parents most definitely, no doubt about it

From what I gathered from the episode (as has been previously stated) is that it depends on how close the individual was to the departed; Lex thinks about his mother often (whom he was very close to) and seems to have no trouble meeting her (which he's done twice this season). Clark was close to Jonathan, and was able to talk to him straightaway. Lana had hardly seen her parents (given that she was just three when they died), and as a result it took her multiple attempts just to see them, let alone talk to them.
So what was the question? Oh yeah. Pre-"Reckoning", I would've expected Alicia to have been seen by Clark. Clark, while worried about his secrecy and intimacy with Lana, must've had Alicia running through his mind quite often. Skinwalker-girl hasn't been mentioned since she died (in fact, Clark often claims full credit for finding the caves), Ryan was mentioned once since he died (in "Memoria" I think). I do think however, that if Clark was given the same opportunity for multiple attempts as Lana was, as well the strong desire, he'd speak with Lara.

I think he when he was being pulled back, he should have seen Jor-El and Laura in the light. Why should he only see Johnathan and not see the people that are biologically his parents.

I don't think it could of been Alicia because she didn't know the full secret and they weren't really that close. Ryan would have been a nice touch but I don't think it would have made sense. He's not wise enough:)
I voted for his biological parents, but in my mind, it was just Lara. He can already talk to a dead Jor-El, so it would be stupid talking to him. So I think it would have been Lara. They've never talked to each other before so it would be extra special. Plus I think he trusts her because she seems more human than Jor-El. Remember in Covenant, part of the reason he went with Kara was because he thought he would get to be with his biological mum. He has a deeper connection with her than any of the others and this is kind of making me wish this episode had come before it. How sweet would it be to see him meet his mum?

I voted for Ryan because Ryand knew Clark's secret, and I think Clark would need a visual image of the person who came to him. I also like the idea of Cassandra or Cyrus (?) the boy who thought he was an alien (although he was only in a catatonic state at the end of his episode, not dead).

Everyone seems to be forgetting Virgil Swann. I do however like it if he would have seen Jor-el and Kara (to mirror Lana's experience).

Alicia all the way. Heck. I just want her to be there cause it would be another exscuse to get Sarah Carter on TV. She is hott. But that aside, this was an ok episode. The Clark/Jonathan scene sld this episode though. It was jsut ok but that is what made it a good one to watch.

It would probably have been whoever Clark was closest to, not necessarily one of his relatives. I would've liked to see Dr. Swann. He could give the sage advice to Clark, something I don't see Alicia or Ryan doing.

It's gotta be joe el ald lara as they have died and are connected to clark so strongly. But jor el would probably just tell him to " fully embrace your kryptonian destiny" and he'd then do something to clark that made him all 'kal el' as he did at the beginign on the episode 'Crusade'

I'm torn between Alicia and his parents. I think Alicia's death shook Clark to the core, because one way or another, he had his 'dream' relationship for a while, when his girfriend didn't care about him being different and also, he didn't manage to save her and doubted her.
Clark by Season 5 has very little memory of his parents, but that may had been awakened by the potion in 'void'.
Ryan...yeah, I'd like to see him again, come to think of it..
Okay now i'm confused..No, scratch Ryan.
