well, it seems a little sad. It looks like Lana still needs Clark's love and friendship. I she gets it by the tiime SV ends.:\

Clana will never die. We got another Loft scene, but instead it was in a dorm room. This one wasn't as gag-worthy as they are normally though.

You're right that Clana will never die. I really hope they're friends by the end of the series. Actually, I think they still are regardless of the break-up.

Funny...Lana say she can't be dependent on people yet when she was about to die, the first thing that came to her was "Clark, help me."

Yes, Clana lives in the form of a malignant tumor festering in the lymph nodes of Smallville.

You know i am not pro-clana, but I tell you what, it was a very sweet scene. It was nice to see Clark be honest. "I only want you to be happy". and Lana saying I will, I could empathize with both of those characters. Very nicely done scene.

It was chronologically sound. She said that at the end of the episode. Maybe she came to that realization after.

True, but then what's with her kissing Lex in next week's episode? As much as Lana tries to be strong, she needs someone there with her, even if its with someone who tried to kill her a few months earlier.

I'm sorry, but the Clana just drives me bloody insane. Like I said, this faux-loft scene wasn't too bad.

I'll take it. :p
And if Chlark happens, I'll be sure to return the not-so-flattering analogies...just not so gross. :p

Don't worry, when Chlark happens you will join the Chlark Side of K-Site, it is your DESTINY.
The only thing I don't like about this episode, is the Clana scene at the end.

It's fine if they're friends with not strings attached, anything else, I couldn't bear with.

I used to hate the idea of Chlark. But Chloe just keeps proving herself so selfless; she deserves a good guy. Suffice it to say that maybe that's not Clark after all. I just want her to be happy.

Yeah, I want that to for her. Which is why I don't think that Chloe and Clark should go beyond their friendship. I really like Chloe, too, which is why I don't want to see her get hurt by Clark, She deserves something better than that.

I agree 100%. I am concerned that the writers just use Chloe as a plot device to constantly bring the viewers hopes up and then dash them.
**Spoiler Alert , stop reading.**
See ASK AUSIELLO, there are no plans for any Chlark anytime soon. I feel bad for Chloe getting her feelings smashed weekly.

 How did I turn this thread from Clana into Chlark? Because the Chlark Side gives you powers that many consider to be unnatural... IT'S YOUR DESTINY.

i have to admit this scene was good in terms of dialogue and closure. it gave a better treatment to the Clana breakup even a little better imo than the JK death episode did. Later we would see a better one with JK riding on a tractor but to consider how long that took, this episode did it better.

Did they have to put the clana scene at the end of the episode? It just eneded, I didn't get what Lana stairing at nothing meant. It felt like they where trying to have a ending like Buffy or Angel. And they failed. A far better ending would have been the Lionel/Clark/Martha scene.

I guess they wanted to make a rare the Clana moment before the BIG BLOW UP.

Yes just when Lana says she's never going to be dependent again she goes off and hooks up with Lex. Why you ask... well those drugs she took in this episode weren't free... she did sacrafice her lifesavings for them....... so I wouldn't be so quick as to telling everyone how independant I'm going to be if I were her.

Clana fans are waiting for next week. Lana's been dumped, she's depressed and suicidual (she didn't admit it), and is financially and emotionally broken. Woo hoo Lexana fans, it's definitely time for Lana to make her move on Lex. I just can't pull for a guy who would kill the world, sorry.

I agree.
Especially after how ham-fisted it was handled last week.
