there will be no chloe/clark relationship... think about it for a sec. More likely than not they'll end the series with Lois and Clark in a relationship of some form. I know it wouldn't be true to the mythos but this is Smallville... come on...
Plus Chloe wouldn't let herself get in a relationship with Clark so soon after he dumped Lana. So anything happening this season is out of the question.

That leaves less than 2 seasons (because it wouldn't happen right away) For them to have a short fling, break up, and send Clark pointed AT HER COUSIN. Sorry... it's not gonna happen.

Less than 2 seasons?? Is there some kind of limit set for when the show is going to end? I was guessing (if the ratings stay up) there would be 3 more to get Clark through college.

I never thought I would say this (being a die-hard Clois fan) but I hope he doesn't get involved with anyone for awhile. I just want them to focus on the mythos and let us see him mature a bit.

7 seasons total is what Al/Miles said they're expecting in an interview.

Acording to the last thing I read from the producers they planned to go on 6 seasons.


If I`m not wrong they also mentioned something about a 7th depending how good the 5th did.

And also they also sad something about moving from WB.

IMO this is not the best season. And I dont think is the actors fault but the writters.

agreed to the fact that its not the actors fault that its the writers,my sister and i were saying that we know what goes on during the show better than they do! lol..but i dont know i like this season a lot so far and i hope it does go 7 seasons:)

i dont see a chlark happening at all..and if it does happen thats just wrong..chlark isnt the "playa" type. he knows her and lana were/are good friends.. i dunno much to say about lana, since shes becoming like a helpless/hopeless little baby everytime shes around lex...but i think there will be a lexana before a chlark.

I'm with eas here, I hope Clark stays 'shipless and concentrates on growing into Superman.

But as a sidenote to Hendo, I've dated cousins one right after the other, so it does happen.;)

In my opinion, which is totally biased, they should at least explore the Chlark relationship!! I mean, Clana's over, they're not going to give us Clois right now and I want Chlark!!!!!!!!!!!! I am just glad that they have finally ended the Clana relationship for good!! They've ended it too many times just to have them get back together, and finally this time it won't be that way. That end scene came close though. It upset me that Clark and Lana were even talking to each other in this episode....what happened to her hating him?

I would definitely have to say, though, that the Lexana is coming way before the Chlark because it's already pretty much here!!

Not if you ask me Rosey! But you know tptb have been dangling that carrot for years and although I would love to see some Chlark action I fear the writers would mess the storyline up so badly and Chloe would get the short end of the stick again. But my Chlark heart never gives up hope that maybe tptb could put together a good storyline;)

Well it is now. They are not meant to be together and we all knew it since the begining.

I used to like them on season 2 when they finally got together, they were very cute, but now with the hole yoyo thing it`s just old.
