Yeah, probably. It's not the first time either. Clark drank that kryptonite gatorade last season, and he didn't die then either. "sweated it out" my ass.

I wondered if they were going to explain how he came back to life.

After hearing their explanation, they should have just ignored it.;)

well, if he sweated it out then, it could leave his body this time too. see, problem solved.

hehe..j/k

this might be one of those times where we "suspend belief" even in the known Smallville universe's physics and laws

Now I liked the whole going to the other side story line but I didnt like the kyrptonite being used and then an unexplained syrum can bring them back. What was the syrum and couldnt they just of taken the stuff and stick it into anyone who has just died?

I think what they meant to explain was that 'death to revival' drained or eliminated the K in his bloodstream.

When Clark is brought back to life, all traces of injuries and what not disappear. It is some instantaneous rapid healing and regenerating of his molecular structure. I think what they're trying to imply about kryponite is that it needs a living kryptonian organism to have damaging effects, but once the organism perishes the effects of the K perish as well as if the organism was never there. Conversely, Kryptonite on Planet Krypton has no damaging effects on living Kryptonian organisms ON Planet Krypton. These strange effects of Kryptonite can be the result of Earth's unexplainable effect on Kryptonite. These reasons can also be compared to the fact that Kryptonite in the rock form only begins to glow when Clark is near it.

[I]The REVIVAL explained...
What happen what that Johnathon "pushed" him back to life. This is something by means spiritually explainable...so yeah I think the K possibly could have killed him had it not been for JK pushing him back to life. But then again Supes is pretty strong, so the liquid K could also have been less concentrated than other forms since the med student who created it messed with its substency.

There was also the time in I beleive season 2 when Van was going around killing all of the "meteor freaks." Clark was shot with a kryptonite bullet and died, yet we was fine when the bullet was extracted.

This is also a goog point.

Its a good job JK 'pushed' him back to life, because if Lana had the orangeyred serum to give to CK (after the Green k is neutralised by CK's death) she wouldnt have been able to inject him would she?

Kryptonite is clearly the best thing since sliced bread, I mean IT CAN DO ANYTHING!!!

The kryptonite serum probably killed you in a specific way and the serum could bring you back from that kind of death without severe consequences at first. I agree that the death neutralizing the kryptonite was stupid, they should have just said the serum neutralized it. It would make so much more sense that way.

Yeah I called shenanigans on that whole neutralized at death thing. Being injected with K had to have some serious effects on Clark but he just shrugs it off.
I like the Johnathan pushes him back idea though.

It all could have been avoided if they just didn't rely on K for the serum.

Seeing that this show has to do with the philiosophy of faith, I will respect the idea that it was Jonathan Kent that brought Clark back to life here. Especially after JK told Clark how important he will be in the future (as Superman), Clark had to survive.
