Continuity with Lex's Mom's return

I like that Lex's Mom is back after Lexmas.
But Lex stayed under/dead lots longer than Lana.

So where did the med student get his Kryptonite?
You would think that they would have found all of the meteor rocks by now.

i didnt think this agreed with Lex's mom at all (haven't seen Lexmas).

she had been portrayed as a loving mother who didnt want Lex to become like lionel.

now, she is saying, he is a disappointment to her if he doesn't become more like LIonel.

at first, i thought that would be explained if each person really has delusions about what they think their parents would say to them, rather than seeing the actual dead person.

but once Jonathan revealed something about Lionel, then it brought it home that these were the real thing they were talking to.

Well Lex was down longer becuase no one was there to revive him initially. But that was great continiuty.

I loved that scene, with the black glove and Lex's mom acting all sinister and talking about the barren flowers from the Hourglass scene. Awesome.

No, she is disappointed in him because he IS becoming more like Lionel. His mom tried to warn him in Lexmas about what he may become and gave him an opportunity to change that path. But in the end, Lex decided to stick with his path, which disappointed his mother. I loved it in the end at how Lex lied to lana and told her that his mother said she was proud of him. You could really see some evil in his look.

How did you come up with this? She doesn't want him to be more like lionel. She said something like "stay here with me. don't let the blood wash away whats left of your soul". She was angry at him for ignoring her and choosing the wrong path. She essentially would have rather him remained dead and on the other side with her, than live and do what she knows he's destined to do

I was glad they did this too because it showed that she didnt think he would take teh route that he had taken. little by little in the episodes since lexmas we've seen a small measure of his darkside. i was glad that she said that everything he does is going make everyone suffer because of his suffering.
